Latu^ sat on the crested hill, a flurry of feathers flying around her. a dead pigeon at her feet.She licked her lips, eager for a meal. A high mitched squeak cought her attention. She lifted her head. The squeak came again, and indicated the sound was coming from a bush. Her back bristled. Who was there/ She stalked closely to the bush, and pushed her snout through. A pup! the tiny white pup was huddled in the bush, trying to keep warm. Latu^ instantly felt symathey. She gently reached for the pup's neck, and carried him to Shai.

Shai heard the coming of Latu^. 'Yes?' She turned around to see Latu^ with the bundle in her hands. Shai gasped. "Where did you find him?"

"Over by the hill. Why?" Asked Latu^

 Shai sniffed at the pup. "Thank goodness. He does not have the scent of the Entu. What will we do with him?"

"He will stay here." Said Latu^, her mind made.

"Fine," Sighed Shai. "Do you have in mind anyone who can care for her?"

"I will." Said Latu^

"Are you sure?" Shai raised an eye-brow. It was Latu^'s desision.

"Yes, I'm sure." Latu^ nodded her head.

Lucian stepped inside, sniffing the scent of the pup. "Who's she?" He asked, he didn't remember of any wolves in the pack having pups.

Dethal sighed. While out of the forest a couple of days ago he had scented a diffrent wolf scent, but he didn't tell anyone about it in his pack. He turned to Necilia. "Hey, Necilia, have you ever got the scent of a diffrent wolf deeper in the forest?"

Rhein opened her eyes, seeing Lucian not in the den she stood up then padded out. She stretched then looked around, wondering where Lucian was.

Felan krept up to the deer. His eyes narrowed, focusing on the deer's leg. At the right time he sprang forward and sank his teeth into it's leg. He forced it down then bit down into it's neck. After awhile it went limp. He released the deer then dragged it back to camp.

     Necilia raised her head and thought for a moment. "Well, actually, I think that there is a whole other pack out there...." She said, looking at him now. She thought of Jazz, her other sister. If Ariana had gone to Entu, and she had gone to Craw. Where did Jazz go? /Besides, I've smelled a lot of different scents that don't belong to either Craw or Entu.../ She thought.

   Jazz walked around the camp slowly, there was nothing todo, she amostwished that another pack would attackjust to give her something to fight against.

     Ariana still slept in the medical den beside Ken.

"A whole pack.." Dethal muttered to himself. "Maybe we should check it out." He suggested, looking at Necilia. If there was another wolf pack he wanted to know about it.

Felan entered camp then left the dead deer in a spot where the food was usualy kept. He sat down then looked at the direction of the river where he had thought another wolf was near by.

Rhein followed Lucian's scent then ended up in the den where the alpha female was in. She poke her head inside then saw another pup, one she haven't seen around camp.

     "Maybe..." Necilia said, looking down. /Of course i won't be able to help, I'm useless now.../ She thought thinking about the wound that she had suffered during the fight between her and Ariana. And running down there earlier didn't help at all, in fact, she thought she heard something break on the way down. /Maybe it was just underbrush.../ She thought.
