Blood checked the dark streets for any humans. Ame stood behind her, stomping his hooves in fustration. Blood, I'm hungry. I'm sure there are no humans around here. He snorted at her mentally. Blood glanced back at him and shook her head then led the way across the unnaturally non-busy freeway and into the forest on the other side. Almost immediatly, Ame went to grazing, eating the sweetest blades of gras$ that he could find.

Jared rode on Kvior into the forest, he loved to ride there it cleared his mind and gave him time to think things through. Kvior was padding by the river when Jared spotted a squirrel drownding in it. He quickly scooped up the tiny animal and pushed on the creatures stomach, getting rid of the water. The critter gasped for air and slowly got it's strength back. It chipped a thank you and went scampered up a nearby tree. Jared said in the squirrel's language 'Your welcome.' and mounted Kvior again

You know you can't save every little animal right? Kvior asked
I know, but I try my best to save as many as I can.
Why?
Because I can feel their pain. It's like I am somehow connected to nature, I can feel what they feel. If I let that poor creature die then I would feel as if I'm dying inside.

Ame lifted his head sniffed the air, catching the scent or a wolf and a human. He looked at Blood and flicked his ears. How about a ride? He asked her. Blood shook her head and swung up onto his back, pressing her hands to the thick fur at his neck to hold on as he bounded away, running on the opposite bank from the human and his wolf. After a short sprint, Blood and Ame came into site.

Ame stopped and turned his head to gaze at the human and wolf. Blood did the same. Who are they? And what do you think they are doing here? Ame asked, turning his head to look at her. Blood shruged. Do you want to find out? Blood asked, looking back at the boy and wolf. Ame nodded and snorted a greeting to the boy.

Sari walked beside a horse-sized black wolf with bat-like wings sprouting from his shoulders. One hand was resting on a rune-covered shoulder as she tried to read what it says and walk at the same exact time. That proved disasterous. When her foot got caught between an unearthed root and the ground... well... let's just say she faceplanted a pile of moss.

Jager chuckled the best way a wolf could and ruffled the wings that lay tightly furled against his back. His ears were flicked forward and his eyes glittered in amusement. Trouble seems to follow you around, Sari, he said to her; using thoght-spoken message.

Sari pushed herself up so her chest was off the ground and pinned Jager with a glare. Trouble does not follow me as you say. It abushes me when I least expect it, she said, making up an excuse Jager knew was true.

With a shake of his wolven head, the black he-wolf padded up slightly before reaching down and fixing his teeth at the back of Sari's black tunic. Pulling her up, he set her down once her feet were hovering above the ground. "Thanks Jager," Sari said with her regular voice. It was deadpan and lacked emotion. Jager nodded, but sighed inwardly. So far, her thoughts to him was the only thing that had underlying emotions.

Kvior snorted a reply back. Jared introduced himself to them,"Hello, who are you? I'm Jared and this is Kvior." he patted Kvior's side.
