Alpha Reeves smirked humorously, the corners of his coral lips upturned, as he skirted Salem High School's quad, heading towards the ma.ssive gymnasium. Truly, it wasn't that impressive in size, but it was the largest room any of the students knew, so it was relatively enormous. Of course, for Salem, the poorest school for miles and miles around, the gymnasium was their pride and joy. The pungent smell of sweat permeated the famed corridors of the gym, reminiscent of all of the won sports tournaments and mighty athletes.

It just so happened that one of the mightiest of these athletes was Alpha. The coaches remarked that he, "had wings on his cletes as he ran down the field." His powerful, albeit unusual, name comanded authority and respect, seemingly conquered only by that of divine bearing, not that he realized it.

Not only was he the running back for the footall team, an honors student, a senior... Unknownst to but a small population of Salem, he was also the Alpha of the Salem werewolf pack, which may have explained his uncanny athletic abilities.

Alpha strode into the gym, the same grin still plastered on his face, and an unrealistic vibrance alight in his eyes, considering he was at school, the bane of most youths' existance. He sat down on a bleacher, among unsuspecting, hormonal humans, thinking of how ironic life itself was. He grinned at a cheerleader halfheartedly in the distance, and waved to another werewolf, Avery.

Avery was diminutive compared to Alpha, and much subtler-looking, carrying the essence of a common sparrow. Her blonde hair fell in strands, framing her pale, childlike face, and drawing attention away from her pa.ssive, ivory eyes.

She noticed Alpha, who was coincedentally the Alpha of her pack, waving at her, and she raised a finger back at him, willing it to sway lazily. A nonchalance about her ex
pression faded her into the crowd, ignoring her simplistic beauty.

She waited for the others to return, due to the protective haven they provided her. The others were the only beings she felt able to talk to, due to her naivety. It seemed as if all humans had the ambition to prod and tease her, due to her gullibility and low self-esteem.

So she sat, and waited patiently.

Lanen entered the gym laughing, teal eyes alight as her long hair swung around her childish body. She stopped and looked around the room, breathing the scents in through slightly parted lips, lacking the sense of smell. She turned to see if there was any chance Talon would show up soon, then decided no. No, if she had survived so long without him, surely an hour or two in an-the she-wulf spun to look around again-*censored*embly?-wouldnt deem her harm, would it?

"That;s what got you in trouble, you know?"

She whirled, still grinning, as Talon entered amid a m*censored* of students, pressing through in his black t-shirt and jeans. Lanen giggled.

"Don't know whatcher talkin' 'bout." 

"Or where you are."

"This is true...but neither do you."

This took Talon aback. "I think it's an *censored*embly," he said softly. "Maybe. Could be gym cl*censored*...this is a gymnasium, after all." He snickered at his fellow rogues blank look and brushed by her, leaving her still facing the opposite direction.

Lanens eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Gymnasium?"
