Erin eyed Asphalt. "Oh, so you're the mind reader she's talking about." She said, not sounding the least bit surprised that he could interpret their thoughts. "She seemed pretty ticked off about you for some reason." She smirked. I'm only speaking out loud for the benefits of others. She thought, knowing he could hear her. She turned to the others. "Well, we made it to Pennsylvania. There's no sign of the hunters yet so I think we're safe for a while. It won't hurt to stay on guard, though." She suggested.

Jacoby glanced at Karienne, before looking at Erin again, "Oh yeah, he is a mind reader, left that bit out..." Reverend jumped in suddenly. "And hes awesome!" he said happily Jimmy stared at Erin. Foul-tempered wlf in the woods? That sounds like the wolf that atacked me! He thought... maybe she isn't going ot leave us be... he thought nervously. (( lol, iheart said alpha was asleep ))

Erin met Jimmy's glance. "What...?" She began, then blinked. The wolf had mentioned a rogue; and Jimmy had been acting strange after he'd come back.
He smelled like that wolf! She remembered the scent suddenly. "She could have been a danger to the pack, Jimmy." She said, putting her hands on her hips as she gazed at him. "Why didn't you tell us that you had met her in the woods?"

Jimmy immediatly glanced at the ground. "I- i didn't tell you because i acutally think i care about you guys." he whispered. He looked up at Erin, knowing she wouldn't understand. His eyes were'nt green, They were pure orange. "She said exactl this: 'tell your pack about me, and i as.sure you, i will rip out your spine and kill your pack members in your sleep.' " He shuddered, he remembered it clear as day. "It scared me, she's a big wolf, and if she caught us off guard like that, we might lose someone." he said. Jacoby looked at jimmy, His eyes... they're always changing. He thought. He looked at Erin. He opened his mouth heistantly. "Erin... He, he seems like he wanted to protect us... sort of?" he said, almost confusing himself

Erin stared at Jimmy thoughtfully. Despite herself, the words of the female wolf send a chill up her spine. In their sleep, they would be defenseless.
"I actually think I care about you guys." Erin would have smiled if the situation hadn't been so serious. Instead she blinked and nodded once. "Thank you." She said simply. "For trying to protect the pack. Unfortunately..." She glanced towards the woods, where the wolf had been- and still might be. "...I don't think we'll be able to avoid another confrontation." Her heart clenched with fear as well as anger when she thought about it.
She turned to Jacoby. "Yeah." She said, smiling slightly. "I know that now. And I'm glad he did." Her gaze turned briefly to Asphalt even though she was still facing Jacoby, and her eyes narrowed slightly. A mind reader. That could be an amazing a.sset or a terrifying enemy. If he was listening to her thoughts now, he would know she didn't trust him. Yet.
"I think we should find a place to crash." She murmured to Jacoby. "But I don't have any money left to rent a room or something, and I don't want the pack to have to sleep out on the streets. Any suggestions?" She asked him.

He said, his eyes slowly draining back to Green. He turned his head to the side, showing her the deep cuts in his cheek that she noticed before. "I didn't run through a thorn bush... the she-wolf did this to me... as i was turning to run too!" He said. Reverend looked at jimmy in surprise. He couldn't think of anything to say, but he turned to Erin, "OH wait! i have some money, i brought it with me, i thought we'd need it..." he started

Karienne looked up. She had taken out her headphone. "Hey Erin I brought what was in my piggy banl." He looked around at the people. "Don't even start." She said. She went into her backpack and pulled out a wad of cash. Then she dug into her jeans pocket and pulled out some more. "I have around 500 dollars. I've been saving this for a year." she said.
