Erin eyed the scratches again, and winced when she saw how deep they were. "I suspected that." She said quietly. "And I won't forgive her for threatening us like this- or hurting you." She was about to say more when she heard the others speak, offering money forward. She blinked, then grinned. "Good." She said. "We'll need it if we want to be comfortable for however long we'll be here."
"Are you with anyone, Erin?" Asphalt asked. Erin started at the unexpected question. "No." She replied uncomfortably. He'd caught her off guard with a question like that. "It's not like I need anything like that right now." She continued too quickly, as if making up an excuse. "This pack's safety is my priority." She folded her arms and decided to change the subject.
"I think we should split up into groups and try to find a cheap hotel to stay in for a while. Or, if you find an abandoned house anywhere, even better. And maybe..." She gulped at what she was about to suggest. "A school. Not now, but maybe soon. We'd stick out if we were out on the streets when humans our age were going to school, and the last thing we need is attention from the authorities." She blinked. "So, let's split and go."

Erin ignored Asphalt, turning her gaze to Alpha and Jacoby. "That would work, but there's Asphalt to consider." She said, glancing at him as she said this. "Frankly, I'd like to have him in my group where I can keep an eye on him." She said, not bothering to hide the fact that she didn't trust him.
"Okay, so the groups are Alpha, Jess, Karienne and Rev in one group, and me, Jacoby, Jimmy and Asphalt in the other." She looked at everyone. "Sound good? Unless someone wants to split into groups of two instead, though I wouln't recommend it, with that she-wolf on the prowl."
She smiled at Reverend. "Oh, and congrats on making Beta." She eyed the two rogues. They should be part of the pack too. She thought, tilting her head slightly. They've done alot for us, and stuck together. I'll invite them later...

Erin looked up at Alpha curiously. What had he been about to say about Asphalt? That he was dangerous? "I will, for the pack." She replied. If it were just her she wouldn't promise anything; she could, at times, be reckless and easily provoked. She blinked at the amount of money he had on him, then called to the group she was leading.
"Alright, we're going now. Hotel first; but keep a lookout for any empty houses. Just look at the porches or front steps and see how many newspapers they have; if there are alot, it's probably not in use." She said, thinking of a random method.
She began leading them down the street, glancing to the side frequently. It was a busy street, and Erin shivered; she could be claustrophobic sometimes. That, or it's the living, walking potential to be found out by the government surrounding us right now. She thought, flinching as a human bumped into her by accident.
"Ah, this looks promising." She said, looking up at a long, tall-ish building that appeared to be a hotel. "Let's check it out."
