"Um, no, no more questions." He chucked bittersweetly. Then he turned to Jacoby, "Yes. I am Alpha. And I am just slightly a bit headstrong and territorial. And anyone who has a problem with that can go jump in a lake." Alpha was one to joke, to be sarcastic, to exaggerate. "Now, I suggest we go back to our studies. I haven't done my homework for last year."
He was also a famous slacker. "Wonder where Jess is."
Then he looked thoughtfully at Jacoby. "Are there other outsiders? I would like to meet them, if so."

Erin eyed Alpha. "I don't think you have to worry about your late homework, Alpha. It's not like they would accept it anymore." She winced as the whistle blew and the coach waved everyone in. The humans smelled putrid from their efforts. Why is that whistle so damn loud? She thought, the note still ringing in her sensitive ears.
"I have no idea what we have next." She turned to Alpha and Jacoby, frowning. "Either of you guys remember?"

The high-notes of the whistle echoed through his ears. And then, he realized no humans heard the whistle. It was a dog whistle. But why?!?! The coach had accidentally bought a dog whistle, he decided. "Uhm, uh, hmm... Oh! Right! Foreign lang 2. Anyone in my cl*censored*?"

Jacoby shook his head. "i have math next." he stated. He pushed hisself up by his hands and got back onto his feet. Then he nodded at alpha. "oh yeah, there's others." he stated, almostly arkly, but that's who he is. "i know there's at least one. But i think, including me, there's 3 or 4, not in your pack, that is." he stated quietly

Erin glared at the coach. "How stupid," She remarked. "Bringing a dog whistle to P.E." Then, she looked puzzled. "Then again, why does he have a dog whistle instead? It's not like they look anything alike. He would have noticed." She frowned.
She turned around and faced the others, her face darker. "I think he's on to us." She whispered. "Try to act normal around him, okay?" She glanced pointedly at Alpha. "No losing control."
I'm probably just overreacting, Erin thought. Still, it's suspicious. Better keep an eye on them.
"I'll give the others a heads-up when we meet." She mumbled, almost to herself.
Erin, turning her attention back to the main topic, shook her head regretfully at Alpha. "No, I don't have that cla.ss." She said.
"I have math next." Jacoby spoke from beside her. She looked at him. "Me too. At least I won't be completely bored." She smiled, though her paranoid mind was still preoccupied by the dog whistle issue.
What if there were other teachers that were hunting them?
The thought made her chest clench with fear, so she shoved it aside.
"I'm off to math." Erin said briskly. "See you there." She spun and strode off in the other direction.

Alpha wasn't eager to meet the others, but he would give it a try. He suspisciously eyed the coach, who returned the untrusting glance. He whispered to Erin quietly:
"As Alphas, it is our job to keep the pack safe. I will risk my life if necessary."

Jacoby blinked at Alpha, as if to say 'Good luck with that...' to him, before turning. He smiled for a moment on the inside at the fact that erin seems like she'd be happy with his company in math. At that, he turned towards the doors. What if they are hunting wolves? He shook off the thought, he need not worry about that, for he wasn't in a large group, and he knew that'd make it less likey for him to be caught. Jimmy glanced at the clock. He knew he'd only have another boring cl*censored* after this one, but he just wanted to get out of this cl*censored* as fast as possible. He was feeling uncomfortable by the outide wolves cramped up in the room with him. He tapped his feet on the ground impatiently. He turned his head at the sound of a whistle somewhere far off, but enough to bug him.

Erin set her jaw and nodded without turning to face Alpha. Before she could reply he had already gone off to cla.ss.
Erin blinked as Jacoby walked right past her. With a frown she half-jogged to catch up to him. Erin herself was shorter than average for her age and her stride was small, so it was hard to match his pace when they were walking normally; As a wolf she might have been able to outrun him- she was nothing if not swift.

pression, he seemed worried about something. Erin blinked.
"You okay?" She asked. "Is the incident with the coach bothering you too?"

(( i speak italian, but i fail at it XD )) Jacoby turned to look at Erin, "Huh?" he looked confused for a moment, as he was staring off into the distance, but he blinked, and responded with: "oh right... i'm not sure. It's just, weird he'd have a dog whistle, or one over a regular whistle that is, i just wanna know why." He stated. (( ima just make jimmy invade alpha's cl*censored* XD )) Jimmy walked into the french cl*censored*room, yet again, taking a seat toward the back. He instantly knew there was another wolf in thee as well. What is there a whole pack here? He half shivered at th thought. A whole pack of wolves was the last thing he needed right now.

Erin nodded, her blue and green eyes flashing anxiously, staring straight ahead. "I'm worried," She decided to be honest with him. It was probably obvious anyway. "What if he really is suspecting us? What if there are more of them?" She bit her lip. "What if I can't protect my pack?"
She said it all in a whisper in case any staff would overhear them- though of course Jacoby would be able to. As they reached the cla.ssroom, Erin paused. There could be a hunter in there. She thought suddenly, looking up at the math teacher. The idea sent a chill down her spine and she frowned. Stop being so paranoid, Erin.
Erin turned to Jacoby, staring him in the eye. "I need to ask a favour," She murmured. "Could you watch for any odd behaviour from the teacher today? I know you're not part of the pack but... I want to be sure." She blinked and took a seat near the front.

"Alright, i guess i can, i usually notice odd behavior anyway." he said, before taking a seat in the third row. There's no reason to worry... he said to himself in his head, but the serious look that Erin gave him made him uncomfortably unsure.

Erin fidgeted with her pen, her chin rested in her palm, her mismatched eyes wide and watching the Mr. Ransome's every move. Every once in a while she glanced around the room, trying to spot any abnormalties among students. Who knows? She thought. Teachers aren't the only suspects. She caught the eye of a student to her left and she glared at him. He blinked and glanced away, looking confused.
Erin sighed as their teacher continued the lesson about analytical geometry. It was such a dry topic; all formulas and measurements and stuff she didn't care about.
She vaguely noticed that the subject had changed from math to the upcoming field trip. Mr. Ransome held up a white sheet. "It will be a vote," He said. "The trip will be in March. All the options are listed on the form- just check one, or multiple, off. The more you have checked off the better."
As he moved to pa.ss them out, a faint jingling reached Erin's ears. Her eyes snapped towards the source and she straightened, raising her head from it's lazy position. It was a whistle; it had just fallen out of Mr. Ransome's pocket and hit the floor. Erin's breath caught in her throat. Long, thin and made of copper. A dog whistle.
Erin stole a glance at Jacoby, then stood abruptly. "Mr. Ransome?" She asked. "May I go to the restroom? I'm not feeling well."
Mr. Ransome stared at her keenly. "Go right ahead Erin." He replied, an odd note to his voice.
Erin nodded and shut the door behind her. I was right. She thought, paling. This school is dangerous. The pack isn't safe.
What to do about it? Break was second to last period; that was the only time they could talk. It would look incredibly suspicious to ask to speak to a student from the other cla.ss if she were to try and fetch Alpha or one of the others.
I can't do anything but wait. Erin sighed and leaned against the wall, palm on her forehead.
