"I have ways with animals, including Creatu." Jeraud replied smoothly. "Plus, how can you read my mind." His eyes narrowed at the girl, wondering just how much she knew. Jeraud knew that nothing he said hinted his suspicion of her, so far.

Poppy floated through the forest, looking for a good kill. She was in her kioka form, and felt more free that way. She spent most of her time as a kioka, except when she had company. She finally found a rabbit, and knew it would have to do. She ate it quickly, and then floated back the way she came. Her life was so repetitive that she often got bored of it; she needed adventure.

Marco lifted his nose, still in his Meiko form. He sniffed. A new scent was wafting through the air. The air of a shifter, twined with the blood of a rabbit. Intrigued, Marco left his kill and lifted off into the air, scanning the area for a shifter, or something out of the ordinary. 

Poppy's head snapped up as she felt someone's eyes on her. She was immediately tense, waiting for the attack. She wasn't frightened, but she didn't know what was going to happen. That made her nervous. She floated back a little, her eyes scanning the area for the creatu.

OoC: Sorry, the last bit of her last sentence sounded a bit like yours, Tld. XD

Marco's eyes narrowed when he saw the shifter. A kioka, no doubt. It seemed that she knew he was watching her. Sensing no harm in talking with her, he perched on a tree branch. He cleared his throat. "Hello." Marco said, hoping that his Meiko voice, which he rarely used, sounded friendly enough.

Poppy jumped when she heard the voice and looked at the meiko. She knew straight away that he was a shifter, too. "Hi." She said simply, still wondering whether to run. She didn't though, and waited for him to speak again.

Marco tilted his head. This was one of the few times he spoke to another shifter. Sighing, he stretched out to lay on the branch. "It's rare to see another shifter." Marco replied, resting his head on his front left leg. He lazily blinked, thinking that he would scare this Kioka.
