Starsong growled low when he saw the claws unseathe. "Keep it." And then a calm ex
pression masked his face, making him sit down. "Me and Darkenedstar wan't to join you as SunClan apprentices. Do you accept, yes or no?" He said in a demanding voice. ((Um, yeah. But she would see it another way, for training the rogues and kittypets to make her clan stronger and bigger like LoveClan.)) Lovestar peeked her head out of her den, looking outside at the working cats. She padded out, and Sunpelt ran to pad beside her. She smiled and kept padding towards Nightshadow. "All patrols working well?" She asked, conserned. She was still leader, and had to keep looking out for the clan.

" Yeah. During the morning patrol at the borders we met with some Sunclan cats but there was no conflict. All was well at the borders during the border patrols. " Nightshadow said. He had smelled something slightly differrent though. He decided it was nothing really, but he had scented rogues in Sunclan territory.

Starsong smiled. "Perfect. Ill go talk to Darkenedstar, you wait here. Your naming ceremony should be in a moment." He meowed, and directly padded into the nursery. "Ok. They said yes, "He told Darkenedstar, "Are you up to make the ceremony or should I do it? What mentors should I give them? What names should I give them?" ((Alice: Ashespaw, Ashpaw, for Ash? And what name for San? You choose, of course.)) Lovestar nodded. "Right. Okay, is Starwalker here? I want to know if SunClan is going well or not," Not like I care, "So I know when they will need her again."

Nightshadow shook his head and said " she just went out to go gather some sort herb that I forgot the name of. " He actually didn't have any idea where Starwlker was at the moment. What he said was what he knew and that was all. ((Hm...Ima go look at my chara's on the first page to see who might be a mentor today....)) |

" Mabye it should be Nutstrike and FAllenrain. After all, the two aare fighting right now and mabye having apprentices could ease some of the tension between the two of them.. " Darkenedstar said after a huge yawn, seeing as she had been napping. She blinked slepily. The words had literally formed themself with going through her mind much. Once she heard and analyzed them though, she realized her words were well chosen in a way.

(Ashpaw, Blackpaw. Can I pick their warrior names though? When the time comes.) San bounced up and down happily. Ash just stared down at his paws, frowning. "Aren't you happy?" she asked her brother. "I don't want to give up my life. All this freedom. Do you see the cats here?!" he exclaimed. "They have no freedom. They are told what to do from a cat that is to weak to do anything but care for kits right now. I don't want to be controlled by a cat like that." San's mouth dropped open. "But these cats care for one another. They'd do anything to help another cat. They look out for one another. Maybe... Maybe if I had gave birth here, maybe Griffin wouldn't have dissapeared. " she sighed softly. |

Are you good enough to make the meeting, or should I do it?" He asked urgently. Lovestar nodded. What a boring conversation. She padded to a patch of sunlight, sparkling over her beautiful cream fur. Sunpelt, of course, joined her. They shared tongues for a while below the sunshine.

San hastily groomed herself. When she was finished, her pelt was shining, sleek, and looking well. Ash just rolled in a patch of mud. He hoped that he was being disrespectful to Clan traditions to show that this important ceremony of being coming an apprentice would show that he didn't care.

Darkenedstar tthought it over and replied " Those names are good. I don't think I should leave my kits for a clan meeting, so you do it. I'll just watch. " She knew that from this spot, she would be able to see the metting, even if she couldn't see all of it. She could hear it at least. A few minutes later, Starwalker returned to camp, her mouth stuffed full wih many leafy green herbs. She went to her den and began to sort things out. |

Starsong nodded, then padded out to jump on the fallen log. "Ash, clean yourself, will you?" He hissed, then in a louder voice, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around for a clan meeting!" He called. Moonfall woke, startled, and ran outside with his tail held high towards Starsong. Fallenrain bounced off also. "Is anything wrong?" Moonfall meowed, and Starsong blinked. "No, no just- You'll see." Starsong mewed, not wanting to let him know before the clan.

Darkenedstar watched, licking a woken kit back to sleep quickly before returning her attention to Starsong. Shhe decided that so far, he was doing a relativly good job. Nutstrike got up and calmly walked over. She really wasn't worried since nothing bad seemed to be happening at the moment. She sat down and waited, obviously fairly interested in the ccause of this meeting. Lunarsight yawned, having been napping like several other cats. She stretched as she got onto her paw and stepped out of the elder's den to see what was going on. Stripedpaw darted over, wishing to discover what the meeting was about. He hoped it wasn't too bad. Starsong didn't usuallycall clan meetings, as he now knew. |

Ash grimaced in Starsong's direction. He jumped into a puddle, spraying tiny crystal drops into the air. He rolled in the puddle until his fur was clean, but soggy and wet.
San sighed.

"I would like to give SunClan two new apprentices. San, you will now be known as Blackpaw. Ash, you will be Ashpaw. Fallenrain, you will be mentor of Blackpaw, Nutstrike, you will be Ashpaw's mentor. You may touch noses." Starsong meowed above all noise. Fallenrain's jaw fell. Quickly picking it up, he padded over to Blackpaw and patiently touched noses. "I'll train you well, Blackpaw." He promised, and pulled himself backwards. "That is all," Starsong dipped his head, and then jumped off.

Nutstrike, eyes wide with surprise and happiness, got up and walked over to Ashpaw. She touched noses with her new apprentice. She had never expected to get an apprentice this soon. She had been thinking mabye in another moon or so but... Even though she wasn't expecting this, she promised she woud prove to herself and all other cats that she was ready for an apprentice.
