You know Il always be here for you, kits or no kits."" She purred at him. He forced a smile then dissapeared intothe Medicine cats den to visit Littleleaf." Littleleaf? How are you feeling?"

He padded out of the den and streched. He walked over to the freshkill pile and picked out a small mouse for himseelf and a large shrew for Little leaf. He padded back to the den and placed the shrew in front of Littleleaf. He lay down beside her and started to eat.
