Sagepelt licked Silverkits head. "Hush little one." She soothered her. Then nudged each of her remaining kit.

Lake hissed "I asked her what she ment when she said love, so she said, love is the most wounderfull fealling, like you feal love for the cat that you know loves you back, like Shadeheart and me, i love him, and he loves me, i could never love someone more, is what she said, and then she went into a daze, with this weird look in her eyes, and i thought, grose, so then i went to the nursery and fell asleep." she said.

Dasyflower was woken up, as she was falling back to sleep she noticed lakekit was gone "lakekit? lakekiy ?!?" she said frantickly "i cant fined her!"

Scratchkit was woken up.  He grunted and fell back asleep.

Sagepelt looked over at Dasyflower. "Shes probably out in the forest hunting. She'll be in trouble when she gets bak."

Brightkit looked aroun terrified, "What if that fox that got Amberkit came bac kand ate Lakekit!" She wailed.

Shade looked at Lakekit. "I still dont know if that true, or if she just wants out of the medicie cats den." He saif tiredly. "Relay the meaasgae that Im dead, Focfoot. Im not going back." He glared at Lake, "And take her with you. She doesnt belong out here, as a rouge."

"make me!" Lake yelled at ran away, she then turned around "I know she was telling the truth too, i saw it in her eyes!"  then she dissapeard into the forest.

"its ok." Dasyflower said and rapped her tail around Brightkit "It doesn't smell like fox."

Shade glared at Focfoot. "Your kit she may be. But the decision of the kits future is for her mother to decide. AndSgaepelt decided that she wanted Amber to grow up here, in theplace she was born." He spoke more gently. "I know it will be hard Foxfoot, but thunk of the other two kits that need you now, just as Amber needs me. So go back to the clan and tell them what I said." He hissed in the direction that Lakekit went. "And Im goin to go take care of that unruley kit."

Soar glanced between the two toms. She knew how hard it was for a mother to give up her kits. So she respected Sage's wishes.
