Sagepelt dipped her head to Lovestar "Of course, ill send the patrol out now for Fernleaf, then gather the patrol to bring back Lakekit. Im glad I can help Lovestar." Sagepelt was mentally worried for leaving her kits for so long, but her duty to the clan called her. She padded out of the den then into the warriors den. "Foxfoot, would you mind to go on a patrol, your needed to find Fernleaf. Brakenfur, Boarfur, your with me to find Lakekit. Ravenwing is already out looking for her" Without waiting for a answer she backed out and nealy ran into Shadeheart along with Crownedpaw. "Hey! If you two are not tired would you mind to go on a patrol to find Fernleaf? Shadeheart, your leading it." Seeing the creature Crownedpaw was carrying she knew they wanted to talk to Lovestar. "The news will have to wait, Lovestar is going to train her apprentice." She got up and looked around, trying to find another warrior to go, then she saw Ashwing. "Your on patrol." She jerked her head towards her brother, "Shadehaerts leading it." She sighed in aggervation before walkingo ver to the entrance to wait for the rest of her patrol. Shadeheart nodded to Sagepelt before telling his apprentice to got setr the bat on the highrock so they could get it later, then stood waiting for his own patrol.�

Normal User Posts: 1,895	"Okay!"Crownedpaw bounded over.She was still full of energy after the days short training session. Fernleaf wok up and dragged herself furthr towards her thinking place.She then stoppd and stood stock still.The sound of large and heavy breathing was head behind her as though she was in a horror movie.She chanced a glance back behind her.She saw a huge,brown,and visious looking beast behind her!It had uhge paws and claws and was fairly fat.It hadnt seen her yet but she wouldnt be surprissed if it decided to eat her.She dived into a thick bunch of ferns and tryed to slow her visous breathing.Pure terror flowed throughout her.

Not to far out he scented the air and picked up a faint trace of Fernleaf scent. "Okay Crownedpaw, you proved to be a decent fighter, but lets see how well you do at scenting." Sagepelt waited for the rest of her patrol.

Normal User Posts: 1,895	((Sorry.I forgotted...that and the fact that my bro made me so angry that I smashed an xbox 360 controler against my head and got a lump....I have locked myself in my room and so far no one else seems to even care that there is a swollen lump on my forehead-.-It makes me wonder if they even care at all.[they being my family])) Boarfur padded over to Sagepelt for the patrol. Crownedpaw smiled and then said."Wait...how do track things?"She hadnt learned this yet.

Normal User Posts: 443	((Ouch! That must suck. And they care, their just hard headed.)) Sagepelt nodded to Boarfur before padding out of camp to try and locate the missing kit. Not far away she picked up the last member of the patrol, Ravenwing. She followed that scent. "Im worried for Lakekit, Lovestar wants her gone." She told the patrol. Shadeheart looked at her then back on the pathvahaead. "You sniff the air, and can smell diffrent smells right? Well, you go throught the scents and find the cat we're looking for. You should know Fernleafs scent. Then you follow it where it gets stronger. Now try it."

Normal User Posts: 1,895	Crownpaw nodded and sniffed the air.She easily picked out Fernleaf's scent and without asking she started to run off following the smell.She was happy that she got to do something special.This must have been the best day of apprenticing in apprentice history! ((Not only that but they turned off he xbox when I was right in the middle of something important that you cant really save.))

Normal User Posts: 443	Shadeheart sniffed the air as well to make sure they were going in the right direction. He had to put her back on track once or twice but she was doing well. Suddenly the scent got stronger as did the scent of another creature. His fur started to fluff and he stopped Crownedpaw. "Get behind me." He told her sharply. He then continued on until Fernleafs fur shown in the bushes. "Fernleaf!"

Normal User Posts: 1,895	Fernleaf glanced over and hissed"Hide!"Almost unhearable but hearable.She watched as the great beast[bear]began to snuffle about.It tore the berries off a bush then killed a deer.Fernleaf was wondering what sort of beastly thing this wasa that ate both mouse food as well as fresh kill.Was it friendly or cruel?Would it befriend her or eat her like the deer?She could only wait and see because sooner or later it would find her or Shadeheart or crownpaw or if luck betrayed them all of them would be found.Crownpaw noticed the danger imediatly and was hiding full of fear under a large tree root that was raised slightly above the ground since the earth below the root had been partially eroded away.Just enough room for an apprentice.

Normal User Posts: 1,895	Fernleaf almost let out a yowl of surprise as a huge mountain lion sized cat burst out of the brush.They didnt look like a mountain lion though from the stories she had heard.Not with fangs like that!She knew mountain lions must have had long fangs but this was just amazing!The cat took down the bear and a great life or death struggle began.Several times Fernleaf saw the huge cat glance at her and the two other cats who were here.It seemed kind yet at the same time savage.Glittering with youth but deep wwith wisdom that comes with age.Fernleaf got the sudden urge to help.She ran out yowling and leaaped onto the bears back.She bit into the back of its neck visously and shook her head back and forth to make a wound of good size.This seemed to surprise the bear greatly and the giant cat managed a few extra blows.Fernleaf held strong.

Normal User Posts: 443	Shadeheart yowled at her to get back, but she diddnt listen. He bolted over to the tree that held Crownedpaw and blocked it. Ravenwing bounded up into the tree and pulled Lakekit down. "Thats it kit, im tired of being nice, your going back to the camp." A sudden scent of other cat made him look up and Sagepelt along with Boarfur walked over. Sagepelt glared at the kit and grabbed her by the scruff and staerted to drag her back. Ravenwing walked beside of her incase the kit tried to escape.

Normal User Posts: 1,895	Boarfur gaurded as well glaring angrily at the kit.Just his look could make almost any cat break down in terror.The look of an angry cat who has seen the harshest sides of a world was something to be avoided. ((The next part of that bear things im going to wait for feline to come back.That big cat is a character in another roleplay who came to the recuse and I need one of her charas reactions.))

Lovestar poked her head out of the den and saw Lakekit. "Great, you found him!" She smiled. "Now take him as far away as you can. This kit is not welcome here in LoveClan." She narrowed her eyes at the kit. Then she padded away to join Blossompaw. "Ready for some hunting lessons?" I'm Feline♥
