" Well that''s wonderful. " Darkenedstar said, still obviously on some other thought. It was mostly about her kits that she knew she was going to have. At the meeting, which would come in a few days, would she go or would she have to be stuck in the nursery? Both things seemed bad to her. She didn't want her clan seeming weak due to their leader not showing at the meeting, but she knew that going on such a long walk wouldn't be the best thing for her health right now. Mabye Starsong could take her place... Nutstrike walked a bit closer to Darkenedstar to look at her eyes, she noticed that her leader was thinking about something much different from their powers and decided to change the subject. " Hey Fallenrain! Let's go try and catch some of those hard red creatures! " She then bounded over to the water, searching for crab, but only finding tiny fish and clams. |

((Haha!)) "Hard. Red. Creatures." Fallenrain repeated to himself, padding next to Nutrtike. "Hmmm..." He looked over the flowing water. A redish rock rolled over infront of the two cats. Fallenrain put his paw on it. No, not a rock, it pinched Fallenrain's paw pad and he pulled it over to himself fast. "You mean that stuff?"

" Yeah. I heard they taste pretty good. Don't remember who told me though. " Nutstrike whacked one hard with a paw as it crawled out from some sort of hiding spot. She ran over to where it was, on the beach. She kept whacking at it, attampting to kill it by clawing something important. She did her best to ruin it's eyes. She was glad Darkenedstar had taught her how to be fast with her attacks. It was usful to avoid getting hurt by these odd things.

Fallenrain nodded, understanding. He leaped infront, interrupting Nutstrike's trail, to stand infront and not let the crab go anywhere. "Kill it now!"

Nutstrike wasn't exactly sure how she would do that, but she pounced on it, pinning it's claws to the ground, and bit hard at the place where the eyes were. She felt the shell crunch some but the crab just kept squirming it's sharp legs. She wondered why she hadn't killed it like this and just kept bting it until the thing finally stopped moving.

"Nice," Fallenrain mewed. He looked up at the sky, and the sun was about to set at any minute. "I think we should leave Darkenedstar alone now." He suggested.

" Mkay. Wanna try eating this thing and seeing if it's as good as other cats claim? " She smiled, wanting to try it herself, even if Fallenrain didn't. She wouldn't have killed this thing and then just left it alone to attract foxes and badgers.

Nutstrike nodded, and began to try pulling apart the shell on it's body. There might be a bit more meat there. The shel cracked loudly as it was pulled out of place. Nutstrike kept digging around in it's body, until she found a spot with a very large amount white meat. She pulled some out, eating it. She found that she liked it a lot, and started to claw out some more of the delicous meat.

Fallenrain digged in also, pulling a slice of the white goo. He ate it slowly. And gulped it down. "It's fine... Too weird, i guess." He mewed, licking his lips around to get the taste right. Then he sat down and waited for Nutstrike.

Fernleaf ate as much of the meat she could get to, then buried the shell that was left in the sand to avoid attracting bad creatures. She then asked " What should we do now? Stay with Darkenedstar, or go back to camp?

" Okay. Hey Darkenedstar, we're leaving now. You're going to come back to camp soon right? " Nutstrike asked the furry gray cat. Darkenedstar gave a slight nod but didn't turn to look at Nutstrike and Fallenrain. She was busy staring out at the blue sea. Nutstrike smiled and said " Race ya! " Before making a mad dash for camp, intent on beating Fallenrain.

((Yes, Alice, i'm sorry.)) "Oh, you're on~!" Fallenrain spit jokingly and sprint into the forest like a rock thrown at full speed. His feet ran suprisingly fast, dark orange flames glowing in the night licked around his paws, blazing mad at the intent speed of his paws. Wind spat at his face as he ran, narrowing his eyes and focusing on his speed. The fire grew bigger, but when the flames touched the trees, moss, ferns, or leaves it turned into it's own flame to be seconds later faded from the wind that past through. He tried to get Nutstrike's scent, and sure enough she was running behind. But not very far. That suprised him.
