((One more person at the least.  And...  To any lurkers who may be reading this right now, Don't be afraid to join, all are welcome, begginers and experienced Rpers.  In fact, I'd be happy if you'd join so we can get started!))

Dusk grimaced, his teeth showing in a threatening way.  He moved his bangs out of his face, revealing his deep emerald green eyes.  He could faintly hear the noises of the woods around him, the swaying trees, the chirping birds.  But nature meant nothing to him.  He was after one thing.  Power.  Maybe then he wouldn't be just your average person in the great big world.  Maybe then he would be something more, something special, something others desired.

Footsteps silent, he continued to journey about the wooded area that surrounded him in all directions.  He'd heard from a little birdy that the powered people had taken refuge somewhere in the very location he stood in.  But where?  Thank goodness Dusk was patient, for he'd been searching for weeks now, camping out at night and up early every morning to continue his pursuit.

Dusk sighed, almost ready to give up.  But he had a gut feeling that he was closer than he, or anyone else, knew.  He had to go on.

Sky, on the other hand, was enjoying the nature that hid in every burrow and on every tree.  A couple of Finches fluttered around her, tweeting a sweet melody.  The mid-spring air encircled her in the form of a pleasent breeze, and she took a deep and relaxed breath.

She considered a thought for a moment, thinking about how inexperienced she was with her power.  That was probably because she rarely ever practiced it, as her parents forbid.  She thought back to the day she ran away from home.  Had it been the right choice?  Her parents didn't care for her anyway, so she guessed it didn't matter.

Getting up from the tree stump she had perched on, Sky began to concentrate, very deeply.  She closed her violet tinted eyes, and began to rise into the air.  One foot, two feet, three feet, and...  Thud!!  She fell to the ground in a heap.  She knew she had the potential to go higher.  Three feet wasn't very much, after all.  Maybe another day, she hoped, helping herself from off the ground.

The dark eyes looked around the forest, hearing every movement that was made. Sasha had been looking for days, possibly even 3-4 weeks. She sighed and walked, her dress slipping off twigs and bushes not daring to get caught. She stepped silently and then walked out into a clearing, she cursed under her breath and just sat down against a tree.

 Her legs were hurting from all the walking without stopping, maybe a few breaks but still. She sighed and closed her eyes just for a second. She opened her eyes and saw a flock of birds, she scowled at that picture. She never did like any animals, she had bad times with them.

She lay her legs out straight and let her arms rest in the long gr*censored*. She slowly put her head down and coughed a few times, she hadn't eaten for a long time due to a bear stealing her food, and thinking her money was food, so she was useless with finding food.

The ground below him was amazing from the hawk's eye view, but he got sick of it after a while. Dinx flew towards the ground diving letting the hawk wings fall flat against his sides. As he hit the ground he turned into a cat landing on his fours with no pain. He didn't bother turning into a human, he noticed a girl a distance away.

His mouth turned intoa smile and walked... padded... Over to the girl and mewed and rubbed against her leg, he was able to control his sent and make him smell like a normal feral cat, not like a human. He mewed once more and got on his hind legs and stretched his front legs out onto the girl's leg.

 He purred trying to make the girl pick him up, he loved that. The colar he wore, since someone had out a colar on his cat form once, had a bell on it that jingled with every movement. Honestly to him, he thought he was the cutest cat on earth. He was white with a light brown spot on his back and black ears and paws.                                   

Dusk's grimace grew as he stumbled upon a girl, about his age, sitting alone in a clearing.  Could it be?!  He had to try hard to contain his excitement.  Due to the fact she was was there, hiding in the woods, Dusk as.sumed she was one of those lucky ones with powers.

Sneaking in the shadows of the trees, he silently rested himself in a nearby patch of tall shrubbery.  His eager eyes watched her every movement, as he waited for the cue to react.  But he knew he had to consider the fact that she had the advantage of having power, something he lacked.  But not for long!  The power will be mine!  He smirked in an evil way.

How do I do this without being suspicious?  He pondered.  After all, if she knew he was a shady character she might attack, or run, and either would only mean more trouble for him.  He noticed, after close observation, that she looked rather hungry.

Trying to remain quiet and unnoticeable, he rummaged through his knapsack, in which he carried all the neccessary supplies.  He managed to grasp a loaf of bread, covered up by plastic wrap.  He may not seem the type, but Dusk had always loved to bake.  The bread wasn't exactly fresh, slightly on the stale side, but it was better than nothing.  The faint aroma of cinnamon clouded around him, cinnamon being his secret ingredient.  It gave the bread a sweet undertone, and made it taste good on it's own.

Slowly and cautiously, trying not to seem rushed, Dusk approached the girl.

"You look like you haven't eaten in a while.  Would you like some bread?"  He offered with a friendly grin.

Sky glanced down as she felt a brushing on her leg.  She saw a small fuzzy creature, who appeared rather happy.

"Oh, a cat.  But what is a cat doing here, in the woods?"

She reached down and put her hands around him, lifting him into her arms.  As she heard a jingle, she looked for the source.  She noticed he had a collar, and she lifted the tag on it, examining it.  No address.

"You must be lost.  I'm sure someone is looking for you now, missing you."  Sky rubbed his chin and petted his head.  "It must be good to be a cat.  You have no worries or responsibilities.  All you have to watch for are dogs."

She put him back down, petting him one last time from head to tail.  She never had cat of her own, or even a goldfish for that matter.  She was never allowed to have pets.

Sasha looked over and narrowed her eyes, she looked at the boy. He seemed to have no power what-so-ever, she was quite good at telling that. She looked at the bread then felt her stomach growl loudly. "... Uh sure..." She took the loaf but just tore off a piece, she didn't want to seem selfish. She handed the rest of it up to him, "Thanks.." She quickly ate it letting her hunger go away.

 She got up and looked the boy over, "Just a question... Are you a hunter for powers?" She made it sound like she was either a hunter or a teen with powers. If he said no, then he was just a guy camping or something, but if he said yes then maybe she could get help on finding a powered teen.

Her dark eyes looked into the boys, who's were hard to see since the sun was shining in her eyes. Her Aunt always said that when she stared into someone's eyes they got a sudden chill or they just felt odd in some way. Aunt Carman was the only person in her family she liked, she gave her presents and supported her all the way up to here. Sasha had promised to get something for her Aunt, possibly a power but that might be hard to get two. 

Dusk slipped the bread back away, glancing at her with a false grin.  Behind his smile he hid his secrets, and behind his eyes lay mystery.

He gave her question some though before deciding on an answer.  "Hunter for powers?  Hmm.. Nope."

Oh, gotta play it cool....   I think she's on to me.  "Oh, but I do know of those powers you speak of.  A kid in my old elementary school had a power of some sort.  Could turn herself invisible, did it all the time."  He chuckled with innonce, before he cast a curious glare.  "You wouldn't happen to have any of such powers, would you?"  His eyes locked onto her's, and he jumped slightly with a sudden feeling of emptiness.  That solid stare....  Its...  Well, strange.  And almost farmiliar....

He shrugged it off, regaining his focus.  In the distance, he could faintly hear what sounded like fighting wolves, or dogs of some sort.  He payed little attention to it, figuring it was nothing.

Sky's pupils widened in terror.  She didn't know what to think or do, and she froze, eyeing the boy thoroughly.  He had powers, too.

"Thanks...  Thanks for saving me..."  She spoke with a shaky voice.  She was suprised, no one had ever cared enough to take a hit for her, especially not a stranger.

Shaking off her fear, she wore a small, still cautious grin.  "I'm Sky, by the way."  She felt it polite to at least provide her name.  She didn't much bother to question his power, for she knew how that felt.

Taking a soothing breath, Sky glanced up.  The sun had disappeared behind the clouds, which were growing rather dark.  She hoped it wouldn't begin to storm, she was very afraid of thunderstorms after she'd gotten lost in one as a child.

Sasha raised a eyebrow, "No..." She looked away her eyes seeming weird, just so dark not moving. She looked out over the field, "I might as well get going, I need to complete a task." She locked her eyes to his then looked away once more. "Thanks for the bread.." She said then got up and started walking slowly.

After a few steps she stopped and frowned a bit. She felt a sudden breeze that wasn't really wind, like it was a secret breeze. She turned around, "So your not a hunter? You sure?" The real wind made her hair go in her face, freaking wind. Leave me and my hair A-L-O-N-E.. The wind kept on going.

Sasha didn't want this to happen but the words slipped out, "Cause' if you are, I could need help." She waited for a response, the wind seemed to get stronger. Hopefully she could find something like a hut. She held on tight to her messenger bag, she had some powerful tools in there.

Laci relaxed for the first time in days. The tree she just climbed was perfect. There was a fork in two of the branches which allowed her a comfortable place to rest and the branches and leaves prevent anyone from noticing her unless they knew where to look while Laci had a perfectly fine view of the area. She closed her eyes, intending to enjoy this as long as she was able.

It seemed only minutes had p*censored*ed when the quiet jingling of a bell forced her to open her eyes. Frowning, Laci searched the area of the tree for the source. She had been so sure that she was alone! It took her a few minutes of scanning to locate the noise. It came from a cat who was being held by a girl. She let out the breath she didn't realize she was holding. As long as they didn't spot her, there was no need to worry.

Her eyes were shut once more when she heard something else that startled her. This time it was the noise of hissing animals. Sighing, she looked down to where a cat and wolf glared at each other. Laci knew there was no chance of her taking a nap with the racket and so she watched what was going to happen with no real interest, her money on the wolf.

As the wolf finally launched itself at the cat, Laci nearly fell out of the tree. That cat, it just changed into another wolf! Laci blinked a few times and tried to convince herself that it was just her imagination but there was no denying the truth. Whatever that thing was had powers. She watched with renewed interest as one wolf protected the girl from the other. Then that was it. The attacking wolf ran off while the protector shifted back to its human form. 

As the two started talking, Laci couldn't help but quietly creep down to a lower branch to listen in and boy was she glad she did. The boy said something about her floating, which meant that not only did he have powers but so did the girl. Laci wasn't alone in this after all. But how could she show herself? Hearing the thunder then the boy mention something about a house convinced her to just reveal her presence.

She swung down branch by branch until she was able to just drop to the ground. "Erm, hello." She said to get their attention. She was after all, behind them. "I couldn't help seeing you shift. And then you mentioned that she could levitate. And well," She faltered. She had no idea where she was going with this. Shrugging, she finished. "Well, I guess what I need to say is that I have a power too and if you don't mind, could I possibly join you? For the night anyways." She attempted a smile, feeling like a total idiot.

Ooc: My, that was longer than I intended. Sorry. I'll get the other one up later.

Ooc: Most intros are long, dont sweat it. And no use for Sasha right now.

Dinx saw the girl while she was in the tree but he ignored her until now. He looked at her then blinked a few times, trying to figure something out. He had tried to figure out peoples powers without them telling him. Sadly she said it first, he thought about it. He thought about how good and bad it would be for three people with powers. "The more the merrier! I'm Dinx by the way." He said to both of them smiling a bit. The pain in his neck and stomach was getting to be too much. 

"And could we go now? I'm sorta in pain here." He didn't bother to point, his shirt was a little bit bloody and his neck was bleeding. "There's supplies at this house, it's not the best but it's still good," He pointed to a nearby hill where a two story high house was, it seemed old and a little bit out of shape. 

 He shifted into the cat form he had when he met Sky, the cat was his favorite form of all. He led them towards the house, taking turns walking by their sides then going ahead. The bell jingled a sweet sound, but the blood was just ugly.

After a while of walking they came to the house, Dinx padded up the old stairs on the porch then pulled on a loose floor board and picked up a key and put the floor board back in it's place. He turned back into human and unlocked the door, when he opened it a breeze came through. The house looked like a old fashion house in the 1800's. He let them in then closed the door. He opened up a closet and took out a first aid kit, then looked through it and found a pile of ace. He wrapped some of it around his stomach then treated his neck and left it like it was. The put the kit away and looked at the girls, "Look around all you want, cause' it looks like were going to be here for a while." He looked out the window at the horrible rain falling, it was almost pure black out because of the clouds.
