Annika awoke to snlight streaming through her window. She loved her room more than any other room in the house because of the triangular ceiling, the large bay window, and the small circular window from which light shone directly to her eyes. Looking at her clock which stated 6:30 A.M. she slid off her matress and walked over to her closet. Rummaging through she grabbed her old jeans and a black and gray striped tank top. She walked back to her bed and kissed a picture frame which held a picture of her little sister Brokelle who died when Annika was ten. The pale little girl in the picture was thin and blonde with bright blue eyes, the oppostie of Annika's deep choclate ones. She missed her sister so much that it hurt. Her sister died of Melanoma from her Xerodema pigmentosa, also known as XP, or an allergy to light, when she was just seven years of age. Before heading down stairs to eat her breakfast Annika quickly said, "Volim te" to the frame and left.

Ryder woke up in his clean bedroom. Everything in place just like his mother left it. Getting up he  kicked his covers off, got dressed and ate breakfast. This was unusual for him, he doesn't eat anything before 11:00 very often. His brown and blonde hair was in a disaray so he ran to the bathroom to fix it before heading off to work early.
