((It will be now-ish. The plot will wake them.)) Juniper opened a heavy eyelid, finding herself in damp clothing from sleeping too close to the entrance to the cavern, and moaned slightly. She rubbed her eyes and put her drying clothes back on, so that she didn't have to make a new set of clothes wet. Diving into the cooling water, Juniper swam back to s*censored* and snuck back to her cabin, waking no one and being seen by no one. That was one of the perks of being an only child. A small fountain in the back showed an Iris Message of her mother, looking down at her. "You should've been asleep, but you're... wet?" Artemis's voice sounded confused. Juniper decided just to tell the truth; it was easier. "The rat that killed Geoff was here today. I needed a little time alone." Her mother nodded, and said Good-night, the mist disappearing and letting Juniper change into real pajamas and fall asleep. For a while. --- The sun just barely crested over the lake, when Juniper was awoken by a sickening screech followed by an awful and unbearable silence halfway through the desperate last noise. Juniper leapt out of bed, slipping on a chest plate so that if she got stabbed in the heart, she wouldn't die. Grabbing the magic music box, she shifted it into a long blade, stygian iron, steel, and celestial bronze, like always. Her door swung open, and Juniper's eyes fell on an Aphrodite girl lying in a lake of blood, and Juniper dry heaved to the side, nothing in her stomach. After the sweet awakening of the girl, Juniper found herself staring at a tall woman with golden, curly hair and beautiful skin paired with her startling blue eyes. Or what should have been blue, but instead glowed an eerie red, as if an evil oracle possessed her. It was Aphrodite. But, at the same time, Juniper could tell the air-headed goddess wasn’t present. “What the *bleep*?!” Cried Juniper, exasperated at the fact that something would- no, that something could power the goddess to kill her own child. Two hollow eyes glared through Juniper, who stood with pupils dilated. “What is wrong with you?” Her voice shook, even though it wasn’t her mother, the demigod was devastated. Aphrodite didn’t seem to notice, but rather hissed, as if she was the giant rat Juniper and her camp-mates had defeated the prior night. Chiron came galloping out, and a few other campers in armor showed up too, and Chiron yelled at them to not hurt her, that the last thing they needed now was the gods angry with them.

Alex woke up from his dreams to hear a drawn out scream that was suddenly silenced. All thoughts of sleep were instantly washed out of his mind. He felt for his necklace and put it around his neck. He grabbed his sword and ran outside as fast as he could... What he saw was sickening. Aphrodite herself was standing over her own child who was lying in a pool of crimson blood, dead. Alex opened his mouth but no words came out. He turned to see Juniper staring at the bloody sight too..."Juniper... What's going on?" he asked, his voice cracking slightly because of his suddenly dry throat. |

Leena heard a piercing scream ring out from in front of the cabins and quickly leapt from her bead, not bothering to change out of her pajamas. She ran outside barefoot, her jaw dropping at the sight before her. One of the Aphrodite campers had been murdered, and the killer was still. standing over the victim. The goddess had killed her own child.

Kaina woke up, startled, as she heard a scream break into her dreams, real and terrifying. Her eyes snapped open, and she stood up, her legs shaking, in fear of what she might see when she stepped out of the cabin. Kaina took a deep breath and rushed out. The sight she saw made her almost gag. An Aphrodite child was laying, dead, on the ground. Kaina gave a shiver as she realized that Aphrodite was right near the child.

Tempest jerked awake and looked out of the window next to her bed. (Can I be currently the onl Demeter child?) seeing as she was the only Demeter child currently, she was alone. Grabbing her bronze breast-plate, she pulled it on. She stuck her daggers in her belt sheathes and her bow and arrows in the carrier on her back. As she ran out of her cabin, she pulled on her greaves. Once she was outside, she noticed Juniper and two other campers staring at Athrodite looking over a dead child. She didn't understand until she realized that Arthrodite was standing over one of her own children. "What in the world!?" she yelled, her heart beating so loudly it seemed like everyone could hear it.

Dravius sat straight up in bed, skin slippery with sweat. He looked around, searching for the sound of the peircing scream that had jolted him from his nightly horrors. He pused off the covers, and his bare feet hit the ground. Not bothering to put on a shirt, he quietly picked up his celestial bronze sword and crept towards the entrance. He made quite a sight, a thin boy with stark whitened hair and black eyes with gold flecks sparking in them, shirtless and in jean shorts, brandishing a gleaming sword. He stepped outside, and his mouth dropped open. I girl lay in silence in her own blood, and over her hovered the form of Aphrodite. Had the goddess killed her own child? He crept up behind Juni and asked, "What is going on, Pus.sycat?" With his new look, he was almost completly unrecognizeable.

As soon as she got outside in the morning sun, the currently bandaged wounds across her back had healed, leaving no record of the incident. ((Forgot to put that in the above post)) Leena looked over at a boy with white hair and black eyes walk shirtless over to Juniper. She looked on in surprise as she realized that this was Dravius when he called their friend Pusycat. What did Saara DO to him?! His eyes didn't look bad, but she'd liked them in their natural state, and his hair! She walked over, as equally startled at his new look as she had been about the murdur. "What did Saara do to you, Dravius?!", she asked in amazement, gently touching his newly dyed hair, "White is not a good color on you." Returning to reality, Leena jerked her hand back, and continued quietly, "Why did Aphrodite kill her own child? What could have made her do that?" |

Juniper was slightly annoyed that Leena seemed to be taking the situation, not carelessly, buy not very seriously. "I don't know why don't you ask her?" She said bitterly, then apologizing for being unnecisarily rude. "What happened to you?" Juniper said, glancing at Dravius. His black hair was now white and his eyes had changed colors. It wasn't nearly as cute. Her gaze shifted back to Aphrodite, and she thought of what to do next. "Anyone have sleeping gas?" She suggested.

((Aww. Dravius feels bad enough about his hair... *Pouts*)) Dravius turned to Leena, fixing her with his new black and gold eyes. "One, Saara went completley insane with something called "Eye dye", two, I know, don't rub it in, and third, I...I have no idea." Dravius paled as he turned back to the seemingly possesed goddes and shivered, tan face losing all trace of color. "All I know is that somethign is very, very wrong at camp." He gulped, holding his long sword in front of him, hands gripping the hilt until his knuckles turned white.

((I don't think eye dye would ever be possible. xD Oh, and just so you know, I don't think someone could dye their hair from black to white. That would have so much bleach invloved, their head would probably catch fire. xD))

"I suggust you get her to at least due your hair back to your normal color, as it seems your new eye color isn't due to contacts.", Leena said, drawing her special blade and holding it if only to feel safe. That's when she realized that she was wearing Teddy Bear pj's in front of the whole camp, most importaintly Dravius. She pushed the thought from her mind, attempting to focus on the task at hand. It didn't work very well. Her face turned beet red, and she tightened her grip on her sword. She was wearing little kid pajamas in front of her shirtless crush. "Leena, pay attention to the posessed goddess in front of you instead of worrying about how you look!", she thought, shaking her head slightly. |
