*pokes annie's first post* Why must the Hephaestus cabin be picked on? Zalla won't be too happy...XD))

There was a moment of serenity and silence as Juniper's head breached the water, followed by water flowing from the crest of her head into her mouth, forcing her to make a choking noise. Soon after she emerged, Dravius appeared next to her, having the same calming effect he always had over her. Juniper waited as he asked his question, and she splashed water over her face to cool it from the rapid flow of emotions that came to her face. "I... I uh..." She had trouble making words, looking at her feet through the water. "I'm sorry... I didn't know how to describe how I felt, so I went with the most general term. I've never felt this way around anyone before..." Her words kind of spilled over one another, as she spoke, with an edge of confusion in her voice that told him that she truly didn't know what she was feeling.

((*faceplant* Ahhh DX But that's because I'm never as sure with Juniper, because she is more like people I know than Geoff is.))

After a moment of awkward silence as Geoff and Zalla were just running through the forest, the two exited the thick pines to emerge in camp. There was a spot on the ground that looked reddish, obviously a place that had recently been soaked in blood. Geoff looked angrily at the spot, then the face evaporated, and he looked up to the large white Big House. "Well, that can't be good." He said, motioning to a golden coffin with a pink Aphrodite shroud wrapped around it, waiting to be burned at dinner.

((That's about right, yes. :) There's just an important little tidbit that has been left out the past couple of pages, since it was mentioned in the beginning. So Geoff was killed two years ago by the same giant rat that attacked these campers, indicating more than mere coinsidence.))

All that came to Juniper was a small, shy smile, a warmth kindling in her stomach as Dravius said exactly how she felt. There was a slight nod from her and she leaned into him, hugging him. " I know." It wasn't very loud, but Juniper felt if she spoke any more, that she would start crying, not of sadness, but of contentment. She really wanted to get out of the water, though, however much that Dravius loved it, right now, it was leaving her cold and damp. Abruptly, she sneezed, forcing her eyes open, and she started laughing, smiling more vividly. "Wow, way to kill the moment, nose." Juniper said in her normal voice, then hugging Dravius again.

 Aurora was bored like always. She looked around the camp and noticed two people at the lake and some others coming from the forest. She didn't have many friends and never know anything that was going on. Aurora watched as one of the people coming from the forest poinnted at her and the other people near the front gate.

 ((I couldn't think of anything else to post.))

Geoff nodded, and made his way over to a group of campers, some with faces he recognized, and some not at all. "Um, hello. What happened this morning?" He asked, nodding towards the shroud and blood puddle. "I.. um, wasn't here." It was an awkward excuse, but it was true. A pain ebbed in his foot as a cramp in the arch of his foot faded a little.

((xD Random filler sentance at the end.))

 Aurora shrugged. She had just gotten up and hadn't even seen the puddle of blood until he pointed it out. She looked around now curious about what might have happened herself. She yawned and pulled her hand through her messy hair letting it get tangled. She pulled it out leaving it almost twice as messy then before.

(("I.. um, wasn't here." Fail.))

Dravius smiled and drew his arms around Juniper, resting his chin on top of her soaked hair. He jumped as she sneezed, then burst out laughing as she blamed her nose. "Come on, lets get you out." He lifted her out of the waver on a wave that deposited her on thedack. "We should attend that Aprodite girl's funereal. After you change." He said, noticing hoiw uncomfortable she looked. "I'll wait for you by the fire pit, 'Kay?" He tilted his head and smiled softly.

Juniper smiled softly as she was lifted out of the water by Dravius, sneezing again, and laughing. "I'll be there." She said, which was slightly obvious, since she didn't have much else to go, and she would rather be with Dravius than anyone else in the world right then. Wind chilled her soaked body, and she shivered a little, getting up and running into her room, where she grabbed a towel and some clothes, then headed for the showers, deciding a warm shower would be better than just drying off.
