Dravius's face sombered, and he took Zoey's hand and shook it gently. "I'm sorry about Geoff." He said softly, releasing her hand. His eyes were soft and sad, and while he still had his arms around Juniper, he didn't seem as excited as before, simply for the fact that Zoey seemed to be falling apart at the seams.

Alex winced as Aria walked up and tried, he thought, to talk calmy to Geoff, but she ended up shouting. He felt sympathy towards her. He walked up to her and put a hand on her shoulder to calm her. He also felt kind of awkward. ((random filler post)) |

Why oh why does he have to make my life so complicated? Zoey just wished everyting would stop, or someone would push the pause button on the universal remote. She needed some sort of break, or even just a few second when she wasn't being hit with something new, such as friends new boyfriend, or a resurrected brother or anything like that. It wasn't that she didn't want her brother alive, no definitely not that, but Zoey had had a semi understandable life before. Not so much now. I mean honestly? She had been abandoned by her mother when she learned that she was the daughter of a god, and then her brother died and then now he comes back to life? Five years later, she had been used to him being gone, but now he was back. Doesnt that mean that he will still have to go back, and die, and leave her again forever? Maybe it was just her opinion, but saying goodbye just seemed to make leaving a whole lot harder. Both her brother and her now knew where he was going to have to go though, to the underworld, and she wished she hadnt been given this opportunity to see him again. She was afraid. She was afraid, and if she got another chance to hug him one more time, from sister to brother, she thought she could never let go.

Juniper squeezed Dravius's hand as she gave a sad glance at him, before letting go of her boyfriend's hand. She went over to Zoey, putting one arm around her best friend reas.suringly, a weak attempt at a comforting smile on her lips. "C'mon, let's head back to my cabin to talk a little, ok?" The words were meant to give the two of them a little time to sort things out about Zoey, her painful confusion obvious to Juniper. It had to be surprising to find after a few years that your brother came back, and scary to think that she might have to say goodbye again.

Zoey nodded, not trusting any words to come out of her mouth. She was thankful that Dravius was understanding, and she shot him a grateful glance, and then obediently followed Juniper to the empty Artemis. She was glad that Juni has no other siblings, because she needed some time with less people around her. She steped through the door, and her chilled muscles began to relax in the heat of the building.

Aria felt Alexs comforting hand on her shoulder, and started to calm down. It felt a bit awkward, but it also felt kind of just right. "Im sorry." She said, a bit sheepish. "I know I shouldnt have shouted like that, but......I guess its just been a long day. I mean, first we get attacked by a giant rat, I have a nightmare, wake up and find out that it came true true, and my mother is-" She broke off, realizing what she was about to say. "So, yeah. Im sorry. But what did happen?"
Just make it green, blue, white, and swirly. :D

Alex shook his head. He didn't know exactely.... "I think that's the question we all want the answer to," he said. It's not good, whatever it is. He didn't realize his hand was still on Aria's shoulder. He felt a bit awkward, but didn't remove it just yet.

Geoff looked awkwardly at his large shoes, then to his left side, kneading the ground with his toes. "Um, I'm not exactly sure. One minute, I'm eating lunch in the Underworld, and the next there's a loudspeaker being broadcasted over the Isle of the Blest, telling us all that we're going to return to the living world with some of the Elysium Demigods." He shrugged, not mentioning the part where Hades's voice choked off and Persephone had to finish in a pained voice before they were all shot back out into the world. Juniper climbed onto her bed, which had been fitted as a one-level bed, since there was no one else in the cabin, and patted to her right side for Zoey to sit. Some of the heavier blankets began to inch towards where Juniper sat on the bed, since she made a little indent. "Tell me exactly how you feel." She said, knowing that Zoey must be so confused, but needed her to explain in a little more depth of how she actually felt."Is this because of me and Dravius, in addition to..." Her voice was slow to the words, not wanting a bad reaction from Zoey. "Geoff?"

Zoey was stumped to find a way to explain her feelings. "Juni, Im so confused. Oh my gods, what is happening to my life? I-Its not like i was happy that he was gone, no, no its not like that. But, really it was at least something I could accept, but now, just when I could almost be used to the idea, he comes back! And now I'll have to get used to that, but then, what if he has to leave again? I don't want to get used to having him here, when I know that theres a chance of him being torn away from me again. I mean, that would be like getting an old dog! Why would you get one that will die soon, because once you get attached and used to seeing him every morning, and having his wet nose in your face, one day, he will be gone, but you will have known that it was coming all along. "But," she added quietly, "I know that I am already used to having him here. I accepted it the minute I saw him, that I would finally have my brother back. That was why I was so sad...its because I knew that I was wrong to get into my head. Because there is nothing I can do anymore to keep him out of my mind! He is my brother, and he is like a part f me, that keeps getting stiched in, and then ripped out again." Zoey shivered, in awe at her own words of pain and confusion. And, of course, to her dismay, she knew that they were utterly true. "But Juni, I don't want to hurt him," she whispered. "He thinks its all his fault, or that Im mad at him or something but its not true. I love him, but why do families have a tendancy to make everything worse?"

((It's fine, Foxeh. I know that I do, but I'm pretty sure everyone else here understands too.)) Juniper lingered to the words her friend spoke, letting each attatch itself to her heart so she could reply in a way only suiting to the mood. It was terrifying to her that all this could be happening to one person, one person who seemed so unbreakable and strong. She closed her hug a little tighter and made a soothing noise to try to make the setting calm as Juniper processed her words. "Honestly, I have no idea how to respond and make the pain go away. All what you're feeling, I only understand parts of it personally, and I want to make the healing more than the shallow things I could say now. Just know one thing; I am there for you, no matter how cheesey or cliche or strange it sounds, but you need anything, and I will give myself up for you. Right now, you need an extra life more than I do." She gently kissed the crest of Zoey's head as if she were a young child, holding her in closer.

Dravius waved weakly as the two girls left, and turned to the cabins, hearing a soft sobbing issuing from the "U" of cabins. Following the sound, he poked his head into each of the cabins until he came upon Leena lying facedown on her bed, sobbing her heart out. He sat on the edge of her bed, gently touching her back and saying, "Leena? Are you alright?"
