( I thought we were gonna have the history with us.. like their mates?) Angel led him to the spring. It was relaxing. warm water from a small water fall, two leaves representing a heart, it was beautiful.

He thought she was just another helpless wolf. Well, what if she was? She didn't care. spade would forget that he was helping her learn how to hunt and the other wolf, Joker, would probably forget he helped her. This day was getting better and better...

Zane trotted happily in circles, playing with his pearly ball. He kicked it, then went to retrieve it, but it was too late. His pearly ball was kicked down a small slope and into the river. "Nooo!!" He cried, running to the river side, ignoring the she-wolf that was laying there. "No! No! No!" He cried, placing his paws in the water, and searching franticaly for the pearl.

Iceis lifed her head and looked at the new he-wolf, "Is something wrong?" She asked softly, she had had her eyes closed when the pearl fell in the water, so she had not seen it.

Zane ignored the she-wolf and continued to look for his pearl. He whimpered loudly. "No! No! No!" He howled, over and over as he splashed in the water, looking for his pearl. "My Pearl!" He cried. "My pearl fell into the water! A-and I can't find it!" -phail-
