Zallion growled at the humans before leaping into the truck through Jazz's window. Poor thing, he thought as he tore the bag open. Grabbing Jazz by the scruff of her neck, he jumped out and ran in the direction of the camp, leaving the humans glaring after them."Get them!" he heard a cry and roar of engines, but didn't turn back to see what was going on. 

Luthien appeared behind Chaos. "Aria is right." she said quietly, "But you may come too. We'll probably need all the help we can get." She decided to call Dethal, Akari and Lucian. Tipping her head back, she gave a single howl to summon them.

 Akari's ears pricked. "Isn't that Luthien calling us?"

Lucian listened to the howl they were hearing then nodded. "Yeah, It is." He replied then shook his fur. "Come on," he turned around then dashed off in the direction of camp. Hopefully nothing else bad will happen today.

Dethal looked back at Lucian then at the village. He stood up quickly then ran after Lucian, keeping his pace a few feet from the beta.

((I went to a concert last night, and it was definatly one of the best days of my life.))

Akari followed them, minding the pack hierarchy, careful not to run in front of the beta.

Luthien was waiting for them, her tail swishing in anticipation. "We must rescue Jazz the pup from the humans. Zallion has gone after her, and we shall follow the truck's trail. Remember to keep hidden as long as you can, for we are about to enter human territory. Hurry now." With that, she loped over the gras.s and towards the road. 

((Yes, I guess it is.))

Lucian slowled down as they neared camp. He trotted into camp once they were there and tasted the air while looking around. He spotted the alpha female's fur and looked back to see if Dethal and Akari were behind him.

Dethal followed Lucian into camp. What first caught his attention was Felan's black fur as the fight rested in his den, then he looked in the direction Luthien's scent came from.

Aria moved immediatly after Luthien gave the order, keeping a respectful distance behind her, though her desperatly wanted to overtake her and find Jazz as fast as possible But she had to think, Rushing in without a plan and without back up will not help Jazz. Its only result would probably be me getting killed in the process...She looked over her shoulder at Chaos, he was running with his head low. She felt bad for snapping at him so unneccasarily.

Chaos looked up and caught Aria's eyes. He nodded, blinking. I understand... he thought to her.

Jazz went into fetal position immediatly, curling her tail between her legs. "I can ran I can run I can run!" She shouted, her hindcourters hitting the ground every few seconds. She was too big to be carried like a helpless pup anymore.

((Tears for Fears. They're an old band, I believe, but I like their music. I'll post tommorow 'cause I have no time now.))

Zallion hesitated, then put Jazz down, rather unwillingly. The roar of engines were becoming louder and louder, the reason for his hesitation. "Quick," he growled, pushing her with his muzzle as he heard gunshots behind them. He glanced back, and, to his horror, saw the truck gaining on them with more speed than he had ever seen one travel at. Swiftly, he pushed Jazz and himself into the bushes to avoid getting hit. "Where are they?" yelled a human, stopping the truck and jumping out with a rifle. The wolf stiffened. "I can smell Aria and the others nearby. You go through the bushes towards them, I'll distract these guys. Go!" he growled to Jazz, leaping out of the bushes with bared fangs, his hackles standing up fiercely as he tried to look bigger and more aggressive.

 Akari sniffed the air. It had a tinge of Zallion's and Jazz's scent. She could see Luthien saw that too, for she raced forward nimbly, weaving through the bushes and trees, trying to get there as quickly and discreetly as possible. Akari's ears pricked at the faint sound of humans in the distance, but Luthien's sharp ears had caught it even before her. "I think they're over there," she whispered, turning back momentarily. 

Jazz whined, she didn't want to leave Zallion by himself and it was too late to hide from the humans after he'd jumped out to face them. Instead of runnig she howled, her lungs were strong, stronger than most adults. Please hear me! She thought, her howl was cut short as a human managed to get away from Zallion and grabbed her ruffly by the scruff of her neck *YELP!!!*

Aira heard Jazz and raced forward, she was close and now she could hear growls coming from near by as well as their scent. She raced forward without realizing that someone had followed her. "Jazz!" She barked desperatly, jumping over a fallen tree. "Jazz!" Came another voice, Aria looked over her shoulder to see Chaos. They burst into a small opening next to the road. Aria saw the human and leaped, "Drop her!" She snarled, landing on the human's chest.

Chaos continued forward and leaped through the brush to help Zallion, his paws barely touched the ground and he was airborn again. "Surprise!" He growled as he handed on a human with a rifle in hand. He grabbed the gun and stripped it from the human's arm and threw ito away from them. He turned and bit the man's arm, shaking his head back and forth.

Lucian was running towards the scent of humans came from. He could also get the scent of Zallion and Jazz. Growling, he spotted a human with a gun beside one of their trucks. He moved to the right so he was hiding under some tall gr*censored* and bushes, then lunged forward when he was near the human. He forced the human to the ground then snarled, biting the human's hand so they would let go of the gun.

A deep growl rose from Dethal's throat. His fur was bristling as he caught sight of Lucian pouncing on one of the humans. He wasn't all that sure what he would do, but decided that he would attack a human that threatend them. He stopped running and snarled at a nearby human, half thinking that he was a fighter and not a hunter.

OoC: Sorry for not posting lately. I'm staying with my grandparents right now, so I couldn't get on.

Rolling over to dodge a bullet, Zallion managed to get to his feet again. Where's Jazz? A jolt of fear sprang in his heart for her when he saw her with a human. Zallion snatched her and tried to run, but the humans were in no mood to drop he chase. He felt a powerful blow on his side and gave a small yelp of pain, dropping the pup as he fell to the ground. But in a moment he was up again, but the wound was searing. "Jazz, run!" he yowled to her as he saw humans close in on them.

Luthien saw that they had been spotted and lunged at the closest human, trying to get near the pup, Akari following he example.

Jazz yelped louder as she was slung around, Zallion had grabbed her by the scruf again. She slinched her eyes shut, pulled her limbs and tail in close and layed her ears against her head. She heard the thunderstick go off and opened her eyes in surprise as she was flung forward. She hit the ground and rolled a little as Zallion let go of her. "Jazz, run!"

 She layed there for a second, the shock of being dropped wearing off and jumped up. Humans were soming in from all sides. 'Why do they want me so much?' She asked herself before turing to run. But she stopped, and looked back at Zallion. He had done so much for her already and all she was going to do in return was run away. She snarledand ran back to him, standing in front of him with her legs spread apart.
