Apparently pleased, Keevler continued onwards with the newfound optimism in his stride. So far, these wolves were more than he could have hoped for. If the whole pack was like this, it'd be a dream. But Keevler didn't really believe in perfection that much. Everything, one way or another, had a flaw. No matter how sharp the tooth, it could still not tear through stone. He didn't intend to be negative in the respect that everything had something wrong with it, but it was truth. Nothing was perfect. And yet, sometimes, it didn't really need to be. There were many definitions of perfect in the world; in the end, it was a matter of opinion. And, in a way, acceptance. Turning his casual, contented face towards Cleao, he asked her coolly, "And what of you? Your past?" |

Cleao had not really been expecting such a question, but after asking him a similar question, she supposed it was only fair. She sighed slightly, and smiled in a sad sort of way. "I had first hand experience of humans as a pup.." She spoke quietly. Everyone in the pack knew of this, she had been found as a pup, washed up on a damp s*censored*, barely alive. "They... It was almost like I belonged to them. Only... they did not take care of me... not in the way of the pack. They kept me tied, fed me rarely, and simply left me living in filth. I don't understand what they were trying to do... I was shown to every human, and had a number pasted on the bars of where I lived... Cage... I think they called it" lived. She never lived in that place... it was a meaningless existance. She sighed again. "I managed get free one night..., I really dont know how... My fear drove me to the river, I dont remember what happened after that. Only that I ended up here, as a part of this pack..." She smiled, this time, warmly. "I am grateful to the wolves here"

Keevler looked a little surprised. "Kept in the company of humans?" he said, instantly curious. "Hmm. Odd. They don't sound like they were trying to deliberately adopt you as one of their own. Although..." He paused, and took a long look at the sky high above as he attempted to recall something. "I once fell into a conversation with a domesticated dog before, when I was younger, after I had foolishly strayed into one of their funny villages. A pleasant animal, in the end - after he realized I wasn't there to harm his... "Master", he'd said. Anyway, he informed me that many animals are kept in their captivity, after I questioned his existence in the human's world. I've had my share of time spent near humans, reasonably close, mind you, and it's true. They frequently thrive with other creatures, from miniature cougars that come in a blaze of colours, small, flightless birds that panic easily, hairless pink boars that lack the tusks, and giant animals that resemble deer a little, only without antlers and are much, much bigger. Horses, I think. And then... there's cattle." The dog-wolf put an emphasis on the final word, once again, neither positively or negatively, but as if tempting Cleao to question him further. He liked storytelling.

"We have company, Felan, do you wish to see what's going on? Since everyone else seems to be rather interested in the newcomer as well." she said, turning her head back in the direction that the other wolves were gathering. Her eyes glimmered in the sun as she shifted them around as if she were looking for something hidden in the brush.

Dharc watched as the birds moved from tree to tree.What else is there to sightsee? He padded around in the forest and looked to his left.A white wolf padded along the stream."Hey,Yume!"he woofed and he walked over,sniffing some anger in her."What happened?" "Nothing!"Yume barked angrily as she recalled the memory of the time when she saw the despicable humans laughing about,playing their games in their lawns.They had taken her family and killed them,leaving her in the den.The only survivor of her pack.Why me? she asked herself.Why just me?Why not the rest of the pack?Or at least my sister?

Felan watched as the two new wolves and some from his pack walk away before turning to Bryr. "Yeah," he replied, nodding. "Come one." He stood up then tasted the air with his ears prick. If he and Bryr ran, they could probably catch up to them. "At least those two loners, if they are loners, seem friendly. Esspecialy the pup." Luian nodded then began trotting where the scent seemed fresh. He could tell both the wolves he knew and didn't were getting closer. "Let's go a little way toward them then wait," he suggested. "We'll end up running into each other if they're going to our camp."

OOC: May I make another charrie? A pup? 8D� Akari nodded enthusiastically. Questions filled her mind. Who were those wolves? Where did they come from? Will they stay? If so, how long? Permanently? Akari had always loved making new friends. This was such an opportunity, and she was going to make the best of it. Akari padded beside Lucian, her nose working away at the soil. "I think there is only one wolf. The other one seems to be nothing more than a pup."� Zallion nodded at Taigo. "Yes, I shall speak to them. And thank you for offering to accompany me; I would like that." Zallion slightly slowed his pace so the young wolf cub could keep up with him. "You are very fast, young Tolto," he said with a wolfish grin. "I think you'd make a marvelous fighter or hunter." Akari could hear the faint patter of paws near them. She listened intently, ears pricked up. She could now see them at a distance, coming towards them. Looking at her companion, she said, "Race you to them, Lu!" and sprinted off towards the advancing little group. |

((Sure, Akari.)) Lucian dashed off towards the group about a second after Akari. He kept his eyes on the group of wolves not to for away. He recodnized Zallion first, then Cleao and Teigo. He eyed the two wolves, one being a wolf pup, curiously. Were they going to join their pack? He figured he would probably know soon. Ketavi yawned the stood up, stretching as she did. If she were to take a nap, she would do it in her den back in camp. She trotted back to camp, her tail swishing gently as she did. Suddenly she was able to get the scent of two wolves whom she didn't recodnized. Curious, she quickened her pace to see who they were.. If they were still in her pack's territory. ((Uhh... The light green is supsoe to be red.))

Teigo stood by Zallion, waiting for his fellow fighter to lead the way. Before they could so much as start walking, however, Teigo caught the scent of other pack mates, and turned to face an oncoming Lucian and Akari. He smiled as they approached. The more pack wolves that met Keevler and Talto, the better the chances of convincing their pack leaders to allow them a place in their community. As long as these two new wolves were accepted by the rest of the pack, the Alpha's would look upon them as not being a threat, and that in itself would help their chances. Cleao also smiled at the arrival of Akari and Lucian, and judging by scents in the air they would soon be joined by others. She looked over at the young pup and spoke softly. "Don't be alarmed, little one... friends of ours will be here soon, and I'm sure they would like to meet you..." She wanted to as.sure them both, seeing as she wasn't positive about how they would feel and react around a large number of wolves... It could be alittle unsettling for them, seeing as they had travelled alone for a prolonged period of time... She sat and continued to smile warmly, she was more than sure it would all turn out okay, eventually. ~(Grr... I can't stop those stupid little slash things from appearing... AND the colour's are�messed up�D< ah well >.<)~

"Y'think?" he squeaked in reply to Zallion as he continued to stagger through the tallest of the gras-s stems. Even though he was old enough to navigate by himself without much aid, he still sometimes struggled to step over or through certain obstacles in his way, such as the taller, stiffer foliage he was trudging through. But it didn't bother him much, and the wolves' stream of praises made him all the more eager to appear tough. "But I've never fought or killed anything before." Distantly listening to Tolto's conversation, Keevler stared keenly forwards with a suddenly-wary gleam in his eyes. An odd sensation, the eerie way the breeze tickled at his fur, gave him the feeling that they were being watched. If course, there was no knowing how big the pack would be, and, most likely, their walk was being observed by another canine. But Keevler felt uneasy, here. He doubted all of the wolves would greet him as warmly as they might Tolto.

((Accepted, Tsunade.)) Lucian skidded to a halt then began trotting toward the group not to far ahead. "And who are these two?" He asked once he reached the group. His voice wasn't hostile or anything like that since he saw a pup along, so he thought that the two wolves weren't a threat to the pack.

Zallion chuckled at Tolto's remark and dipped his head respectfully to the Beta. Akari gave Zallion a questioning sort of look, and he explained, "Akari, Lucian, meet Keevler and young Tolto. Keevler, young Tolto, meet my sister Akari and Beta, Lucian." Akari gave Keevler a welcoming dip of the head. Something about him told her he was a nice wolf. At the mention of Tolto, she switched her gaze to the young �cub, pleasantly surprised to see him. She beamed warmly at Tolto. It had been a long time since she had seen a pup, and Akari was extremely happy to see one now.� |

Both Cleao and Teigo bowed their heads slightly as Lucian reached them. It was natural to show Beta's and Alpha's respect in this way. Cleao smiled at Zallion as he introduced the new blood on their territory. She could judge by Lucian's voice and Akari's face that neither of them seemed to think Keevler or Talto would be any threat. In fact, Akari looked downright delighted at the sight of the pup. No surprise really, there had been few pups the last few years, what with the situation in decline... It all boiled down to the humans, again... Teigo stood sentry, as usual. It came so naturally to him he did it on impulse, his ears and nose working to decipher the area, picking out anything that may prove a threat... Human or wolf. His eyes scanned their current surroundings, before he turned and sat, looking back at the group of wolves, his senses still alert. It was a big group, now he looked at them all. Should anything threatening make an appearance, getting them all out would be a challenge. He shrugged to himself lightly. Everything was fine for now... He needed to stop being so uptight.

Zallion smiled back at Cleao. He looked at Teigo and chuckled. On guard, as usual. Zallion glanced at the newcomers, then at Lucian. "I think these two would like to join our pack. May I show them to the Alphas?" he asked in a respectful tone. |

Dharc padded back to camp with nothing in his jaws.He had enough trouble today and didn't want more.As he walked,he noticed Yume following behind and turned around while she left."Did you even catch anything?"he asked her,seeing nothing in her jaws. "Nope...and sorry for barking at you,"Yume woofed sorrily.She had been sore for talking to the alpha like that and she had thought about it lately.

Lucian gave a nod of greeting to Keevler and Tolto before turning to Zallion. "Go ahead," he replied. "Luthien and Dharc will probably allow you to join our pack." He said to Keevler and Tolto. The pup was a good sight to see. He thought that if this pup joined their pack, he could grow up to be a either a great fighter or hunter. ((Sirius is accepted.))
