Hibiki sat in a small, clear bit of the camp, staring up at the sky and watching the rain falling towards him. He cared not that he was soaked and that his fur was plastered to his lithe body, what he cared more about was the things he was remembering from his past. He flattened his ears and tilted his head, still staring up as the rain fell down. "....Reyne..." he murmured, speaking of the sister he hadn't seen in ages. He wondered how she was doing...and if Tarati was treating her well...Did they have pups yet? He sighed, closing eyes colored like the white cirrus clouds on a pretty day. "...Where are you now...?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rika, meanwhile, was padding back towards the pack's encampment with a rabbit in her jaws and two squirrels on her back, bright pink eyes calm, same as always. From the day she arrived there, she had not been a playful pup, instead preferring to go out on her own and hunt. She didn't care about the rain, either. She'd had to deal with many rainy nights on her own

Maka felt nothing sadly as the rain fell from the sky onto her motionless face. Memories of the past few days have ran through her mind like a train without brakes, and all she could see was Alcarie's face. She fought with her body to let her move but she couldnt. She lay silently still when a large lightning blopt struck the middle of the lake, causing a sonic wave of destruction in the waters.

Dusk awoke, and he realized the rain had stopped. He crept out of the den, and went into the foest. He spotted a rabbit, and quickly lunged for it.He caught it, and sprnted back to the den.

Alcarié flinched as the water sprung up and around on the lake, and he whimpered lightly. Looking down at Maka, he finally picked her up by the scruff and painstakingly started towards her den. He knew it by scent and the fact he'd spied on the pack form time to time. Placing her back on the ground, he paced back and forth in worry. Nosing her face slightly, he searched for any sort of blood or injury. What would make her collapse like this? He thought. Pricking his ears, he wondered if there was a healer in the pack.

Maka heart had slowly stopped racing and her body was being dragged now by spirits. Her body limply obeyed what they said, as she was still unconcious. Maka screamed in her thoughts. Alcarie !!! Alcarie !!!!! Yet she got no answer.

Onii pricked her ears when Dusk came back with a rabbit. She wagged her tail slowly, "nice catch." she praised, licking his muzzle. She saw Alcarie bringing Maka to her den and fought back a growl, "I see he's made himself at home." she said, voice full of hate.

Maka was thrown into the water and then lightning struck down the lake again. She floated for only a few seconds then slowly started drowning, and sinking to the bottom of the lake.

Rika padded further in the camp, setting down her rabbit to fix the squirrels on her back since they were falling off. At the same instant, three younger pups ran up and snatched the rabbit and ran off with it, each pup helping by carrying the creature. Rika, having been by herself for the beginning of her life, fending forself and defending her kill, growled, her lips pulling back in a snarl as her fur bristled. "Bring that back!" she barked, her ears pinned back as she parted her jaws, baring her fangs. ((Mmhmm. You don't screw wth Rika's food. The rabbit she caught for herself. She ws going to share the squirrels. |D)) |

"I dont think maka is okay..." He worried, not for Alcarie, but for his leader. "Here. eat." He pushed the rabbit towards her, and slowly walked towards Alcarie. "What happened?" he questioned
