I have the madness of the sun, but you know that already, don't you? Call me Cas, not Casa or Casanev. Thanks!

((Aww, poor Casa. Don't feel bad, I've had plenty of times away from the action ;3)) Dusk, who had been silent for the past few moments, simply stared at this young yet intelligent girl. She reminded him of... her. The memories weren't at all clear, but he would never forget her helpless face, begging for help as she was dragged into the distance by what seemed to be a walking blotch of eerie gray matter. And all Dusk could do was watch, wounded and weak after a battle he couldn't possibly have won. His heart flopped at the thought of the angry faces of his squad members, who where deeply disappointed that dreadful day. Even years after, Dusk still felt terrible for letting her get taken from his grasp. He had always vowed that he would find her and apologize for his mistakes. Trying to take his mind off the painful subjects, he glared at the shaded sky. At the same time he wondered where his phoenix, Spike, had gone. Spike always took to the skies, leaving behind only the occasional feather or two. Then He'd come back later, either on his own or when Dusk made an attempt to summon him. Spike was a faithful companion when he actually listened.
I\'m back.

Hearing a territorial-like growl, Drakine turned her blue-black eyes on Zynonia before she narrowed them dangerously. She snarled in return as her eyes slowly turned to a dull gold and black scales rippled over her skin. Stepping back into a fighter's stance, she bent her knees and waiting for Zynonia to do something.

Zynonia hadn't expected to be challenged like this. She wondered what she should do for a moment, before deciding she should try to scare away this threat. She growled louder and stalked forward, head held low and teeth bared to make herself apear more vicous. She waved her bladed tail back and forth as a warning. She had great control with her tial and could do almost anything she wanted to with it in battle. She knew that she would prbobly use her tail if any fighting came about rather than risk injury to her more important parts. She could live without a tail. She wasn't so sure about missing a foot. Zynonia darted towards her opponent, swinging around full force at the last second to slam her tai blade into Drakine. It was sharp on all edges and Zynonia had always made sure it stayed that way, sharpening the blade whenever it became to dull. Now, all of her careful maitenance was becoming useful, the thought of that made her smile slightly.

Drakine's eyes darted as she watched Zynonia's tail. Bringing up her arms a wall of crimson flames appeared to block it as she jumped back. More of her black scales rippled over her skin as her eyes started to grow brigher. Hissing, she landed lightly on her feet and her tail snaked out behind her as it continued out of her spine. She snarled another challange towards the girl-creature in front of her.

Zynonia let out a roar. She didn't quite know where it had come from since she was normally very quiet, but she thought it fit nicely with her intimidation plan. She ran at the other creature again. Her tail pained her as the burn wounds throbbed unhappily every time her heart beat. She ingored it though. It she couldn't use her tail for a few minutes, she could always use her teeth and claws. She leaped at her foe, attemping to both bite and claw them.

Drakine quickled dodged each attack as she stepped back. A low growl reverberated from her throat as she lunged forward to attack with her own powers. Crimson and white flames sparked from her hands as shot them at Zynonia. The flames licked her own skin harmlessly as her wings sprouted from her back.

Zynonia didn't quite understand what was going on. The transformation thing didn't other her much, it was the fire that frightened her. It was bright enough to cause her eyes to hurt enough to where she had to close them and it burned her flesh as well. In truth it absolutely tterrified her. She wasn't going to give up her territory that easily though. With a quick decision, she dropped low to the ground and tried to hit the dragon's legs with her tail to knock them over. She knew they would probobly just avoid her though. She hadn't much skill with fighting at her young age since most of her prey had been easy to kill. Nothing had ever fought her like this. Nothing had ever scared her like this either. Not even that odd group of humans. Zynonia heard the rumbling of not too distant thunder. A storm? Water? That meant that this horrble fire would be put out! She smiled at this realization because it meant that she would be on even grounds with her foe again. She might be able to win if she drew this out long enough.

Drakine fell to her back and her breath wooshed out of her. Rolling onto her side, she coughed violently until she was able to breath again. Snarling, she crouched and shifted full dragon. She was rather large with black scales, alien gold eyes, and three scars across her shoulders. Opening her maw, she let out a fearsome roar and flared her wings as she lashed her tail a few times behind her.

Zynonia ignored the roar, dashing for her opponents stomach, claws at the ready. She was think that since they wouldn't leave, she would have to get rid of them on her own. To her, that meant killing them and removing the threat permanently. She didn't seem to mind that the dragon was back on it;s feet. She was going to try to dive under the dragon's legs and get them like that. ((She's not being nice. Feel free to knock er out now. I thinkI have a good idea of what to do if you do that. :3))

Crouching low, Drakine surged forward with her maw open and her wings tightly furled against the scaly back. Sinking her fangs into one of Zynonia's paws, she flicked her head to one side as her taloned dug into the earth. [[ Tell me please? I am braindead at teh moment... ]]

((She gets knocked out, recovers quickly, and flees back home, at which point you can feel free to follow her or something.)) Zynonia yelped in pain as her paw was biten. She stumbled and crashed into the dragon, momentum causing her to slam into them full force. She didn't like the feeling of being slamed against something. It hurt her. Notr only that, but it made her paw and tail hurt even worse. She really didn't like meating other creatures.

[[ 'Kayz. ]] Drakine unfurled her wings as her teeth sank deeper into Zynonia's paw. She beat them a few times and hovered above the ground as she snapped her head to one side, throwing Zynonia against the closest building. She hissed shot a jet of crimson flames at the area above the other girl.

Zynonia would have yelped again if she hadn't been knocked out by the blow. She laid on the ground for a minute or two, before her eyes opened again. The instaaant she reggained consiousness, she stumbled to her paws and fled towards her home. She couldn't fight right now and she knew it. she felt humiliated at being defeated in her own territory. She just hoped she would be left alone long enough for her foot to heal. It began to rain as Zynonia did a limping run towards her house. The cool water soother her burns, but the lightning frightened her and stung her eyes when it flashed. The second she got to her home she dart into the darkest corner she could find to try and get some rest. She shifted back to her human form now that she was in here since it could handle the light better.

Watching Zynonia flee, Drakine shifted back to her human self and followed the girl. She stuck to the shadows and her black eyes danced on Zynonia's retreating form as the girl disappeared inside a house. She tilted her head to one side and ran her pale fingers through her red hair.

Zynonia shivered in the cold, wishing she could find something to keep her warmer. Normally she would just shift into her Karzon form to keep herself warm, but the sky was flashing far to brightly for that. She ended up hudled in her little coner of the room, staring out of her home miserably. She was cold, wet, and injured. What else could possibly make this worse for her?

Slowly, Drakine entered the house. Her eyes watching for any movement. Raising one hand, she snapped softly and a crimson flames danced just above her palm, making shadows dance across her face. It also had warmth eminating from it.

Zynonia saw that dreaed fire person again. What did they want? Did they come here to finish what had happened back in that battle? She wpi;dn't let them. Zynonia slunk around in the shadows until she was nex tto her rock pile. Not only was it a stable pile of rocks to hide behind, but it made a nice escape route to the roof. She always had some sort of back up escape plan. She watched carfully as the person eneter. It they tried anything, she was going o bolt, well, at least she planned to.
