Silviana gave a disgusted chuckle, whipping around to look at Penelope.  "Wow.  Your mind is even more out of place then I thought." she retorted with a dangerous glare.  She knew Henry had eyes for Penny, but he almost always flirted with her just so he could say he won out every lady in town.  She wouldnt allow it to happen.  She was offended Penny would have such thoughts of her.  Silviana, a backstabber? Huh.  She rose an eyebrow, her familiar cold eyes focused on her 'friend'.  She crossed her arms.  Glaring down at Mora she delivered a threatening step foward.  "Leave us to chat." she commanded in a frightening tone, turning to Penny and grabbing her arm, pulling her back up the stairs.

"Silvie? I dont have time for this. I must begin the preparations for the party. You know how hard it is to plan these things." Penelope sighed allowing herself to be dragged back into her room. She had said all that she wanted to say and didnt know what else to say to her friend. She realized now how funny the whole thing sounded, like when they would fight over the same doll as children. But what ever she had gotten into with Silvianna would be a while before she could leave her room, for Silvie never left until she won the argument.

Silivana looked at Penny.  "His father set us up, Penny... He asked me to dance soon after you left.  You know me, I crossed my arms and turned him down with a dark glare.  However his father came over and told us to dance..." she began, her eyes serious.  "Of course, my father would have my neck if I turned down Mr. Schoonmaker.  So I agreed to it, disdainfully." she continued, beggingin to pace around the room.  "I promise, I dont have eyes for him... and he only has eyes for you...he told me...." she gave a small smile..."He told me he was going to invite you to a stroll in the park soon...." she finished, the familiar excited smile on sealed onto her face.  "And arent you the one who tells me not to believe the papers?" she joked.

"Henry? What are you talking about? I meant my costume party this Saturday." Penny looked confused by Silviana's remark. "I was not informed of a boat party." Her eyes went cold as she reached the stairs. "Mora, we will take that champaign now." She yelled down the stairs.

Mora looked up. "Yes Miss Hayes." She walked out of the room to retrieve the chamaign bottle and glas.ses.

((sorry, when i was posting yesterday, i was grounded so i had to leave the min i hear my mom wake up from work... funsa knows what i mean about the work thing right? anyway here i go.))

"So the Schoonmakers are throwing a boat party and I am not invited personaly?" Penelope frowned and set her eyes to the ground. She hadnt been invited by any of the Schoonmaker household and that had really hurt both her feelings and her pride. "Well thats too bad. I have already sent out the invitations. So I guess you will be having a grand time on a boat, while I waltz around at a costume party." Penny sighed, the despair clearly heard in her voice.

Silvie sipped her own champaign, following her friend and linking arms.  "I would be honored." she smiled brightly.  "Oh...and during the dance, Henry asked me to give you this..." she whispered, slipping a note into Penelope's hand.

Hello my dear, dispite the public's concerns for my interests in many other young ladies, including your dear friend, Miss Silviana Leigh, you must know, as lovely as she is...I only have eyes for you.  I have been speaking to Miss Leigh personally, trying to arrange a date for us to meet once again.  I had wished to ask for you to accompany me on the waltz, however you had dissappeared before the song began... you looked beautiful.

Silviana caught Penny in a tight embrace.  "Thank you so much!  I will repay you somehow." she beamed.  "And yes, you looked lovely, way to leave me alone at the party with the gentlemen." she joked with a small chuckle.
