Silviana shrugged, holding the glas.s elegantly in her hand.  "Henry?  Oh quite simple actually.  Our fathers had a business deal and we met through them.  Henry was in the business hall and I was delivering an important letter to my father.  I didnt allow anything to build up though, even though he showed some interest.  How foolish I was." Siviana replied quietly, making sure once again there were no listeners.  She glanced at Henry.  "He has grown into quite the gentlemen." she said returning her gaze to Penelope.  "His father is usually in the papers.  Henry has actually just moved here with his father.  He stayed with his mother for a while." she continued.

Penelope listened to the story and let her face fall a little now that there was nobody around. "Well then i guess you wont mind if i go for him. I mean you had your chance." She said her eyes shimmering with slyness, letting her laugh echo softly around the almost vacant loby.

Penelope had downed at least 20 gla.sses of champaign through out the night, and decided to leave the party early, with a headache and an unsteady pace. She made her way out into the cool night air after saying good-bye to Silviana and let her coachman help her into the carrage. As they pulled away from the party, she realized with a sinking heart that she hadnt danced with Henry at all that night. Soon her thoughts began to jumble and fell asleep in the back of the carrage.

When her misstress had arrived home, Mora saw that the coachman was carrying her to the front door. "Is Penelope ok?" She asked slightly worried. "Ya she's just asleep." Was the reply. Penelope was handed off to her father who carried her to her room. Mora then went to her room, for she couldnt help change a sleeping girl. She laughed under her breath at the fact that Penelope, a very put together girl, had come home drunk and asleep.

Henry looked up and saw Silviana in the ballroom, alone, sipping a glas.s of champaign.  He was going to ask Penelope to dance but seeing as he couldnt find her, he strod over to silviana.  "Fancy seeing you again." he said gently.

Silviana put down the glas.s and stood up, eyeing Henry suspiciously.  "Yeah, Its lovely." she stated respectfully but showing little interest in this suitor.  Just then Henry's father Mr, ((foget his last name)) bowed to her.  "Miss Leigh.  I was just speaking to your father.  He pulled Silviana and Henrys hands together.  Do one dance." he said slowly walking away.

Silviana pulled away, "No thank you." she replied calmly before starting to leave the party.  Henry grabbed her waist.  "Come on.  One dance." he taunted, dragging her to the dance floor.

Henry had eyes for Silviana's friend Penelope, however Silviana would do...for now.  He made graceful movements around the hall as onlookers watched, he looked into her eyes and realized she was taunting him as she always did.  She knew she was pretty and knew gentlemen knew it to.  He spun her around and pulled her close for a finsihed pose, before releaseing his dancing partner.  He bowed.  "Tell Penelope I want to meet her fomaly." he said, kissing her hand.

Silviana nodded her head in respect before disappearing out of the ballroom.  Her pace quickened.  She danced with far to many tonight, and it was time to go.  She strod outside gently where her carriage stood in waiting.  With the as.sistance of her driver, she lifted herself into the carriage and slowly closed her eyes as the carriage made its way home.

((haha ok xD  and why dont we skip to morning.  teeter logged offf and kelly is lurking. one sec,,, u could make penny read the paper and see that silviana danced with henry?))

The next morning Penelope woke up to  the smell of hot chocolate. Her servant Mora was waiting patiently for her to awaken and drew closer so she could help Penelope out of her dress and into a purple silk dress, that was held up at the neck and a little loose fitting for comfort. Penelope took the hotchocolate and walked down the stairs to see what was said about the party the night before. When she got down stairs, the morning paper was already on the table waiting for her to read it. She walked over and picked it up and gasped at what she saw.

The seasonal ball was a great turn out as the lovely Miss Hayes showed up in an outstanding black dress, and the extraordinary Miss Leigh arrived in a lavishing red dress. Dancing around the clock with both young ladies, but Silviana Leigh managed to catch the eye of the well known Henry Schoonmaker, dancing with him longer than anybody else...

Penelope let out a scream of frustration, throwing the paper across the room, which Mora went and picked up right away. "How could she. She said I could go for him, and then she turns around and tries to steal him. UUUUUGH! Im going for a walk." She stated grabbing her hat with the light blue ribbon and her dog Tora, stalking out the door.

((Wow, tons of stuff happened. XD))

Akila woke up. Sheb put on a fancy new dress. She walked over to Shane's room. "Oh Shane. Time to wake up! Niles is making breakfast."She said.

Shane got up and got dressed. "Niles, did you get the morning paper?"He asked. Niles handed him the paper. "Here Master Shane."Niles said.

Akila got some juice. She looked at the front page. "Oh. No."She said. Her eyes got big when she read it. She put her head on her table.

Silviana stretched and awoke in her familiar bedroom.  She pulled herself up, so that she was supporting herself with her arms, when her maid came into the room with her breakfest.  "Hello, miss." she greeted shyly, placing the tray on Silviana's nightstand.  Silvie nodded in greeting and sipped the warm tea.  "Did the paper come?" she questioned expressionlessly, knowing the anwser and holding her hand out.  The maid placed the paper in her hand, bowed and escaped out the door.  Silviana scanned the page for last night's highlights.  Her eyes went wide at much of the drama.  She read her own alloud.

"...And lets not forget the always stunning Miss Silviana Leigh, who arrived at the ball last night and didnt disappoint!  Wearing a beautiful red gown, the dress complimented this socialite's amazing features and managed to win her the attention of several of the city's best bachelors.  The party flourished and I and sevearl annoymonous sorces agree that the party was another great success thanks to Mr. Jackson Miles, whom is another one of the bachelors who found a keen interest in this lovely lady.  She is definatly one to have on your arm if you want to be the highlight of the night.  We look foward to Miss Leigh's latest scandles in the upcoming weeks..."

Silviana smiled to herself at the news in the paper, she flipped through and saw the highlight of the night... her and Henry... her eyes went wide with shock as she flew out of bed and pulled her silk robe around her body as she flew through her closet, her bare feet echoing off the high cieling.  "Kerie!" she yelled, her maid running in the room.  "Fetch my dress" she commanded as the maid began to dress her mistress.  Silviana watched as her nightgown was replaced with lavish green fabric that once again complimented her best features.   She slipped on a pair of nicely heeled shoes before nodding towards her maid and disappearing out her double doors. 

Akila went outside and saw Silviana. She ran to her. "Silviana!"She called. "Wait up." She said. She was getting her high heels on.

Silviana turned to see Akila coming out of her own home.  She smiled lightly and went to go meet her.  Her heels clicking on the road underneath her, covered by the imported dark green fabric.  Her stable hand leading the 4 large horses into the stable, he waved at his mistress before disappearing amoungst the hay.

Yukita carried Tora, walking aimlessly through the warm morning. She walked for 10 minutes before she realized that she had walked right to Silviana's street. Gripping Tora tighter Yukita walked up the small hill still fuming about the paper's content, but managed to put on a gracious smile as she aproached Silviana and Akila. "Excuse me Akila, may i borrow Silviana for a moment. I promise to give her back." She said punctuating Silviana's name disdainfully, though keeping her smile bright and cheeful.
