Slinking from the cool ferns that was the apprentices den, Silentpaw stretched until his tail tip quivered. He was ready for a long day of training and prayed to Starclan that Iceshadow was in a good mood. He wanted to learn some of the harder techniques and if she was in a rotten mood she'd probably make him re-do simple moves the entire session. The very thought of it made his fur bristle. Bending down to smooth his nest fur, the Thunderclan apprentice strained his ears to see of any of the senior warriors were going to speak of the recent deaths along Thunderclan and Cometclan's border. Silentpaw's claws itched to shred some of the Cometclan's pelts, particularly Panthergaze's. He'd always looked up to the smooth talking tom, but after the clan had found Whisperwind's body covered in Panthergaze's scent, his dreams of being like the black warrior were shot down. Growling slightly, Silentpaw got to his large paw's and started towards the warriors den to see if his mentor was awake. "Iceshadow?" He called into the den, really hoping he would not get his nose clawed at. 

Sitting at the edge of Thunderclan's camp Falconwing yawned widely, having stayed up some of the night to keep watch over the clan. Glancing over to where Silentpaw had padded from the apprentice den, a slight ache in her heart at the lie she was carrying. Silentpaw could never know, nor could the clan. It could mean death for her adopted son, for the others to know he was half Cometclan. Shivering at the remembrance of Fallenwind's desperate pleases to take the Thunderclan she-cat Shimmerpool's two helpless kits and to raise them as her own. He'd practically told her they were his. Sighing sadly, Falconwing got to his tiny paw's and padded to the fresh-kill pile, scowling at how low it was since the new clan had stolen part of their territory. "Logan had better do something about them, and soon." She growled. 

Slinking along the Thunderclan border Panthergaze let his eyes roam over the familiar territory, renewing the scent markers to make sure the Thunderclan cats got the message. This was Cometclan's now. Grinning like a maniac, Panthergaze chuckled at how well their plan had worked out before trotting back towards the camp they now called their own. Padding in, he glanced over the newly appointed clan cats with delighted green eyes and sat down in the shade. Everything is working well, soon the weak Thunderclan cats will be no more then all of this territory will be ours and instead of Thunderclan being one of the four great clans it will be Cometclan. Licking one large fore paw, Panthergaze waited for his apprentice to finally wake up.
