After a failed project some years earlier, the secret government organisation W.A.S.P has returned to their old plans. These plans are to artificially mutate human beings with animal DNA, turning them into biological war-machines, then brainwash them into doing their will. The first attempt at this project was a failure, and the escape was lead by one of the first experiments of all, one previously deemed a failure by W.A.S.P...... the infamous Echo Whispers, a young girl mutated with the DNA of a white Serval (a species of cat).

The original experiments escaped from the secret labs, but a select few of them (Echo included) were recaptured when trying to protect the others who were fleeing. The ones who escaped have never been seen since...but W.A.S.P is unconcerned. They have new test subjects now...

But Echo has done it again. She has beat the odds and escaped again, with the newest batch of experiments in tow...one of which is her long-lost brother, Alec, whom she hasn't seen since her abduction all that time ago. With the new faces and some more familiar, Echo is once again making a desperate break for freedom. Will they succeed this time?

Will they finally earn the freedom they long for?

Name: Echo Whispers - formerly Adelaide Jones

Personality: Echo is an incredibly fragile girl emotionally. The experimentation left her shaken beyond belief and a much shyer girl than she once was. She is extremely wary of others whom she hasn't recognised as being trustworthy, and is even shy around the other experiments sometimes. Inside, though, Echo is an incredibly sweet girl; she's caring, kind, clever and has a remarkable knack for empathy, meaning she can easily tell how others are feeling. If someone in the group is upset, for instance, she will attempt to cheer them up with small gifts of food, flowers or shiny objects she has found. Echo may not trust easily but once you do befriend her she'll barely leave your side, not just for the company but also for sake of feeling like she won't get hurt by others. Has a great fear of thunderstorms and lightning. One last thing to note is that she has great difficulty speaking English any more, thanks to the experimentation, and expresses herself through feline vocalisations most of the time, such as meows and purrs.
Abilities: Since she has a much higher percentage of animal DNA than most other experiments, she has almost completely lost her hold on human language, as well as the ability to walk on two legs. Instead, she walks, runs, climbs and jumps using all four limbs, doing so quickly and nimbly. She has greatly enhanced senses, most notably her sense of sight, which allows herself to see remarkably well at night as well as in the day.
History: Echo was one of the first experiments, and as such was given a higher dosage of animal DNA than the newer ones. She was dubbed Echo because of her habit of endlessly calling out for help, even in the dead of night. Her first escape ended in failure after she and a select few other experiments tried to defend the rest of the group while they fled to safety. Having been recaptured, she almost gave up hope, and might have done so had she not been reunited with her older brother, who had been captured and experimented on as well. This gave her a new motive to escape and she did just that, with the other experiments in tow.

Other: She's Australian. Also, she has a pet cat; a black kitten that she calls 'Foofy'. She gives most of the food she finds to the rest of the group, or to her cat, and for this reason Echo is a little malnourished.

Personality: Ethan is the strong, quiet type. He doesn't often open up his thoughts or feelings to others, with the exception of his sister, whom he cares for very much. If you upset his young sister in any way the you'll have him to answer to. He's an intelligent guy who is modest off his abilities, often brushing off any praise he receives as if whatever he has just done is nothing. He's the type of guy who can be a very good friend, being a very faithful and loyal person once you get through to him. He can get pretty fired-up when defending those he holds dear to his heart, but is otherwise a calm person. He is also surprisingly gentle and appreciates nature. He is very resentful of W.A.S.P for what they did to both him and his precious sister (whom is the only family he has left). He enjoys swimming and other forms of physical activity.
Abilities: Ethan has superior physical strength and stamina, plus enhanced senses. He is particularly good at avoiding enemy attacks.
History: Ethan was devastated when Echo was abducted by government agents. He missed her greatly in the days when she was gone, not knowing where she was or what had happened to her. Things only got worse when his parents died due to illness, leaving him alone in the world. A while after this he was found by W.A.S.P who abducted him for their newer experiments, and was both shocked and filled with joy when he was reunited with Echo. He helped her and the others escape and has been a great help to the whole group since.

Name: Sephyr Dust

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Animal DNA: Snowy Owl

Looks:

She
 has white wings that sprout from her back and are about 5 feet on each
side. She also has tufts of feathers sticking from her hair. She tends
to wear this blue t-shirt with a pair of jeans she was wearing when she
was still in the facility. She's about 5'8" when standing upright,
although she tends to hunch when she stands, just a bit. She has talons
on her feet and her eyes are very sharp, much sharper than the average
humans.

Personality:
Because of the owl DNA, she tends to enjoy the night more than the day,
but she can still be quite active near the afternoon. Mornings are tough
 for her because she is usually up all night and most of the rest of the
 group likes to sleep at that time. She is quite quiet and tends to have
 to think about what she says. When she gets angry, she'll hoot as if
she's forgotten how to speak, which she has. She has an air of mystery
around her, as no one really knows where she came from. At night time,
she'll open up a bit more. She tends to be a bit more outspoken, which
is probably because she's fully awake. She also can be quite stubborn
and tends to do things her own way, whether or not they are correct.
That being said, she isn't a leader. She isn't good at telling people
what to do. If she thinks she has a better idea, she'll do it without
letting other people know, regardless of whether she is right or not.

History:
 Not even the scientists are entirely sure where she came from. She was
found stumbling around in the woods, seemingly talking to an owl, hence
the reason why they "gifted" her with owl DNA. In truth, she was just
trying to find a way home. She lived with a group of orphaned kids
living off the street. Every once in a while, they would go to the woods
 and forage for food, but she got lost. Before she was orphaned, she had
 a nice home, but around the time when she had her 13th birthday party,
her sister was born and suddenly it was as if Sephyr had never existed.
So she left. Later, she found out that her parents had moved far away,
but she didn't mind, she had a new family. Everything changed when she
was taken. She hated the facility. She hated needles and tests. She
 used to have talons on her fingers too, but they kept cutting them
because she would try to attack them. They grow fairly quickly, though.

Abilities:
 She can fly (obviously) and has good eyesight and hearing. She is also
very intelligent, but absent-minded, so sometimes she forgets to use
that brain of hers. She eats mostly rats and things,  but spits out
bones and things in a pellet, as if she was actually an owl. It's not
really a power, but she seems to be able to hide very well in the
shadows and not make a sound. Sephyr can also mildly control the air.

Other: She has a British accent, being that she originally was from Great Britain.

History: He has blanked out everything involving the experimentation and even before that, so he does not remember beyond his own name.

He has sharp, longer canine teeth like fangs and claws instead of fingernails, along with black, round panda ears and an annoying, fluffy white tail. He always has dark circles around his eyes, like someone just beat him up, or he hasn't slept in weeks.

Personality: He's calm and collected all the time, and fairly quiet. Something about him makes it easy for peole to talk to him; he's a good listener. When he offers advice, it's usually pretty valuable. However, he also comes across as lazy and uncaring, often choosing to talk about things, or better yet, just sit down and have a snack, rather than actually doing anything.

Abilities: He doesn't often show his abilities, but if he tried, he'd be a pretty fast runner, and abnormally strong. He has heightened senses, especially smell, and he has a super-fast metabolism, meaning he eats a lot but never really changes weight-wise. Not that that really counts as an ability.

History: His parents both had full-time jobs that required a lot of travel and unexpected meetings. By the time he was in fourth grade, Jason was figuring out how to fend for himself, and he was actually working up to being a pretty great cook. His parents loved him, but they never really comprehended the kind of responsibility and care he needed. They left him with babysitters, then on his own. One day, when he was riding his bicycle to the store to buy some groceries, he was taken away by strangers in suits. He sometimes wonders if his parents even noticed he was gone.

Other: Despite his laid-back attitude, Jason is very clever, a quick logical thinker and a good problem solver. He just doesn't like to stand out, and he thinks his life will be easier if other people do the hard work.

She has a long, fluffy tail and rounded squirrel ears. Her front teeth are just a little longer than her other teeth.

Personality: She's skittish and shy around other people, but if she gets the chance to open up, she's a chatterer, friendly and full of energy. She's aware of the fact that this situation isn't great, but she stays optimistic no matter what. She's also modest to the point of almost unhealthily low self esteem.

Abilities: She can climb up almost anything, from trees to walls. Her tail gives her an enhanced sense of balance, and she has abnormally good eyesight. Her memory is almost perfect.

History: She lived in a small town in New England with her parents until she was ten. They were fairly wealthy, and she went to a private school, hence her shy, naive attitude. She grew up in a pretty sheltered environment. Then, tragically, she was kidnapped by government agents. It's hard to fathom why they chose her of all people, since it was obvious that she'd be missed, but despite the extensive search her parents set up, she was never found.

Other: She likes collecting things she thinks are pretty or unique, no matter how seemingly useless they are, and stashing them away in unusual places. When she holds something dear, it's a pretty bad idea to try and take it from her.
