Kaya reached the figure, then warily backed away. The girl looked unconcious, but it never hurt to be careful.... She examined the girl, then frowned. From a distance, the girl had appeared to have the pale skin and hard features of a vampire, but now....never mind. She must have imagined it. Kaya moved closer, leaning over the girl. Suddenly, the girls eyelids fluttered.

Tara woke to see someone leaning over her. Startled, she cried out. The other girl jumped back, eying her warily. Ignoring the girl for the moment, Tara wondered what had happened. The last thing she recalled was feeling wierd and p*censored*ing out, and now she felt....different. She turned to the other girl "Who are you?" she asked.

Kaya slowly relaxed. "I'm Kaya," she responded. "And you?" "Tara," the girl said.

((*still doesn't know what to post* XD)) 

"Well, Tara," Kaya responded warily, "What are you doing here in the woods. It's dangerous for a human to be out here alone."

Tara stared at the girl-Kaya. "But...I'm not human..." she stuttered, confused. She wasn't human... wait! She had heard something about other creatures-even vampires-becoming human. Could she... Tara rushed over to a nearby puddle. And stared at her emerald green eyes, her rosy skin, and her soft features. "I'm...I'm...."Kaya eyed Tara. "So....you must have not been human, too. What were you-a vampire, right? You must not have been an animal, or you'd wouldn't know off the bat you weren't human." A note of envy entered her voice. "I didn't at least" Tearing herself away from her reflection, Tara whispered. "What am I going to do? I don't know much about humans, but they are really fragile!" A note of hysteria entered her voice. "I need to have different food, and shelter...and sleep! Oh no. How am I going to manage?"

Kaya sighed. "I can't believe I'm doing this" she muttered. To Tara she said. "Look, I'll help you, ok? I've been living as a human for a while now. First thing I'll do is take to my "home". Its not great, but it has a roof. Then...then I guess I'll teach you about human food." Lugging Tara up, she headed back toward the town.

((Umm.... maybe they could p*censored* by the Magic Shop and look in out of curiousity?))

[[Everyone's going to Relen and Kyuu's shop <3 I feel special.]]

Relen sighed, running a hand back through his bangs and letting them fall back into place. She must be one of the creatures being turned into humans. "Umm.... yes. Well, take a seat somewhere that doesn't look dangerous and try not to touch anything." he said, picking up Moai statue that had been thrown at him. As if it was trying to set an example, it opened its mouth to reveal sharp, jagged teeth and snapped at the wizard, who immediately dropped it back to the floor. "And that's why." he said with a sheepish laugh. "Kyuu, could you get our guest something to eat and drink?"

Kyuu's head appeared above the counter just enough to glare at Relen and hiss before ducking back down.

Relen resisted the urge to laugh. "Right, sorry." He disappeared into a back room for a second before coming back out with a tray of bread, soup, and water and holding it out for the girl to take. 

Tara looked dubiously at the hotdog she was holding. "And I just....take a chunk out of it?" she asked, poking the bun. Kaya rolled her eyes. "Yes, you just bite it." she groaned. Tara tentatively bit some off. She smiled. "Hey, this tastes good!" she exclaimed. She began eagerly eating hers. Kaya grinned and took a bite of her hotdog. Well, at least she likes it. So now I've introduced her to my "home" and taught her to eat human food....going well so far. A loud voice interupted her thoughts. "Thats her officer!" A large man with a red voice grabbed the policeman beside him and pointed to her. She recognized the man whose hotdogs she had stolen to feed herself and Tara. "That girl, with the wierd clothes. She's the one who stole them!" Crap, Kaya thought. She grabbed Tara's arm. "Run!" she ordered, scanning the nearby shops. There was a magic shop nearby. She ran in, Tara following behind her. "Hey, we just stole some hotdogs and now the police are after us. Can we hide here?" she told the owner of the shop, then, without waiting for an answer, said "Thanks! " then dove behind the counter, dragging Tara after her.

((Maybe I should go to the magic shop..... oh and i'm going to make Crystal's dragon soon, or to be more specific, her dragon who is now human.))

Crystal, who was still bored, lay on her bed, looking at the ceiling.   Maybe I should go to the magic shop... She thought.  Then she decided to go.  She ran downstairs and ran outside until she reached the magic shop.  Should I enter? She thought.  She opened the door nervously.  "Hi..." She said, trying to smile. I'm probably being weird.  "Um....." She decided to ask something.  Something about her dragon that had gone missing.  "Do you know anything about disappearances of dragons?  I had this dragon that I had since I was 15, and now i'm 18.  She suddenly disappeared.  I have a feeling that she turned human.  I just had a feeling that since you're a wizard you might know more about the 'turning into human' thing." She said, shyly.

Relen smiled. "You're welcome." he said gently. At least this girl had manners. 

He turned away from her just when the door burst open and he saw to girls rush in, asking if they could stay. "Um, sure, just don't--"

He was cut off by Kyuu's loud shriek followed by a loud bump. The dragon had probably been surprised by the girls and scrambled away from them, hitting his head on the wall.

"--go behind the counter." The wizard finished dully.

Kyuu growled at the girls, pulling a piece of cloth from the shelves behind the counter and using it to cover his midsection. "Get!" he hissed, clearly not amused.

Relen sighed. He needed something to stop his growing headache. The magic shop was overcrowded enough as it was without a large group of people in it so when another girl showed up, he almost growled in frustration. "I don't know anything yet." he said, rubbing his forehead with his palm. "I'm sorry." He really wasn't in the mood to explain things right now. He slumped down into an armchair next to him, kicking it slightly when it growled at him. There used to be a time when Wizards were held with more respect and their shops were sacred, not hideouts.

Relen sighed again, regaining some of his composure before standing up to face Kaeli. "I'm Relen." he introduced. "And the male behind the counter is called Kyuu. He is--well, was-- my dragon companion."

He turned to the other two girls, a small smile on his face. "Don't worry about it. I'm here to help people... even if it is sometimes in unusual ways." He glanced at their faces before walking over to a shelf and rummaging around, looking for something. "However, I would like to know your names and which of you became human--as well as what you were before." he said as he continued to search.

Kyuu peaked above the counter, slightly curious as to what the girls knew. He was ready to put aside his usual grumpy attitude if it meant becoming a dragon again. 

"Kaya sighed. "I call myself Kaya," she said. "I wasn't originally a human-I figured out that much-but I know nothing else, so I can't tell you what I was before."

Tara waved shyly. "Well, I'm Tara. I was a vampire until...about an hour ago, but now I'm human. Kaya found me in the woods and is trying to teach me about human life." Glaring at Tara she added, "Although, considering the recent 'incident', I'm starting to wonder if I should find another teacher."

Kaeli smiled happily, nodding her head towards Kyuu when he was introduced. "It's very nice to meet the both of you, and thank you for giving me food and water," she told him. then she blinked when he asked the two girls about turning into a human, then gasped a little and widened her eyes a little. "Maybe...I was changed into a human, too..." she said, then looked at Relen. "But...I don't know what I would have been beforehand..." she said a little sadly.

Relen frowned slightly, but it was more of a thoughtful frown. "It's possible." he said to Kaeli in a slow voice, as if he was more focused on thinking than actually talking. After a moment he perked up and went on with a lecture. 

"Out of all the creatures-turned-human in this room, we have a dragon, a vampire, and two other creatures. The dragon and the vampire remember the most, so it's possible that whatever this is, is only so powerful. It couldn't completely affect you two because creatures like you have strong magical reserves in you; it makes you who you are. So from that we can as.sume that you two," He paused and looked from Kaya to Kaeli, "were probably animals or lesser-magic creatures." He looked down for a moment, thinking again. "Which would explain why I haven't been affected at all." He muttered. This would be tough. He had no idea how this was happening. It could be a number of things, some sort of disease or mutation, or a curse to name a few but... "Why now?" he muttered. Things didn't "just happen". They needed some sort of trigger. It didn't have to be big, but there was always a trigger.
