(Yes, for earth and water.) Aithne looked up as the speakers began to play the national anthem of the fire boundaries. Atleast now people were waking up. "Good morning everyone! Today is the day we send two patrons from our wonderful boundaries, male and female, to go fight for our freedom! How does this work? Well, two children from each element to go and either fight the other elements or create a new peace treaty! Everyone ready?" Everyone but Aithne and many other possible patrons cheered. "Good! Now, for the female patron..." Aithne closed her eyes, hoping she wouldn't be picked. "Aithne Blentiy!" Aithne nearly fainted. She hated war. It was everything she was against. But why her? "And for the male patron... Julien Rok!" Aithne was now light headed. Now she had the worst partner she could possibly get. What did the officials think, opposites attract? Right. Better be more fighting than attracting. (You can create your own versions of the announcements, since their different with every element, unless you just want to copy this and paste in the names of your element's patrons.)

Personality: Rio's rather difficult to figure out and is a bit of a lone wolf. He has a quiet, cold nature and is typically rather harsh. Talented and quick in both mind and body, he isn't one to make a mistake in battle and has strong discipline. Despite this, Rio is not one to make enemies, and he is actually rather agreeable and willing to settle differences without resorting to fighting. He prefers peace over fighting due to conflict taking so much effort and really doesn't see why people bother, and certainly doesn't want to get involved when others can deal with it better than him. Usually when annoyed or bothered he'll just put up a stone wall to keep from people bothering him, and if he feels threatened he ops for knocking them as far away as possible in hopes they'll find someone else to fight with and not come back.

She also tries her best to be be kind to others and not cause them trouble. Quite intelligent, she has a curiosity for knowledge but is hesitant to use it in a way that could harm others.

Julien leaned up against a pillar as he listened to the announcements, his eyes focused on the announcer as he began the short speech of why they were there. He closed his eyes when he heard Aithne's name called, chuckled lightly until he heard his own. He jolted upright and stared up at the announcer, and if looks could kill the poor man'd be dead. Why did he get such a...peace-lover as a partner?! The male fire patron let out a low growl before he turned around to leave, hsi hands getting shoved as deeply into pockets as possible. This was just PERFECT, wasn't it? He had to get one of the only women in ALL of the fire kingdom who pretty much outright hated fighting! They were in a WAR! This was just...ridiculous... |

Aithne felt her eyes would roll back in her head. Kill me now... Kill me now... Her smile had recently become a frown. Although people were congratulating her, they had no idea how much horror she was going to face. Now, the average Fire boundary girl would have a clique walking around her with high pitched voices and ash daisies strung through their hair, but Aithne... She had no one but the nuns in the church. She made her way to the church, her eyes closed. She had memorised the way like the back of her hand. She bumped into Julien just as quick. "I'm so sorry- Oh great..." She rolled her eyes. "I know, I know... Worst day of your life. Stuck in the war with the worst possible partner. Ain't I lucky theres an option to make peace? Anyway, good luck catching up. You may be all muscles and brawn, but seriously... You don't know what just hit you." She stepped around him and continued to the church to tell Sister Aidan.
