Flare's ears pricked at the sound of tiny claws on bark. A tiny smile lit up his face as he saw Alex out of the corner of his eye, attempting to catch him off-guard... again. He heard Alex's soft paw steps as he emerged from cover. Flare turned around, his claw tips sparking with amusement. "You'll never be able to sneak up on me Alex" he chuckled.

Alex sighed, realizing his cover was blown. "It doesn't mean I can't try" he mumbled, kicking a wad of melting ice aside.

"Quit messing around" Iceblink growled. "The bears will be out of hibernation any minute, we have to go." 

Starfrost layed low to the ground, her white pelt easily blended in with the cold snow. Her blue eyes flashed to movement to her left,, nothing but snow. Or was it? The scent of rabbit filled her nostrils as she located it. Nice and plump, its white pelt, making it almost unnoticable. But you can't hide your scent. Unless you mask it with say, mud.....She shook her head, stay on task. She told herself.

She stopped, getting ready for a pounce. She focused her energy on her back legs. She jumped up and landed a swift bite to the neck, killing on contact. She smiled triumptiantly. "Nice catch," The emotionless tone was Calyx's, she was sure of it. Though she never saw her, she knew she was trouble. "What are you doing on my territory," Starfrost hissed. "Well thats no way to greet someone, I just gave you a compliment. Or mabye your pea-brain wasn't able to process it through that thick skull of yours?" Came the responce. Starfrost snarled quietly.

Forever paced forward, looking around. Her back was crouched down and her ears laid back against her skull. She had a worried, unsure ex
pression on her face. Forever hadn't eaten in days. She was starving, and started growing weaker each day. Suddenly Forever had found a scent in the air. The smell of elk ran through her nostrils, insisting her brain to go after it. She had too, even though if she was going to run through another wolf's territory. 

Forever then perked her ears and started panting as she saw the elk carcuss lay there onto the snowy-filled floor. She licked her lips before coming forward and digging into the elk. She ate until her stomach was content. She then kept on going forward, jumping over the carcuss and then pacing forward again, being cautious each step.

Iceblink heard little bits of bickering not far away. He flicked his ears to drown out the annoying buzz, hoping that neither of his companions pointed it out.

"Hey, I hear someone, at the edge of our territory I believe" Flare said, his tail wagging slightly.

(The territories overlap because BurnPack is on the move because the bears will wak up soon)

Iceblink sighed. "Why don't you just go check it out then?" he said sarcastically.

"I think I will," Flare said, slinking towards the sound.

Iceblink rolled his eyes, turning back to the den area.

Forever heard voices, she then saw two male wolves having a small conversation with eachother. She sat down for a moment and tried to pick up their voices to decode their message. The male, the one with the extrodainary wings started to wag his tail. Forever then saw the other male go about and walk over to a den nearby. She quickly stood to her feet as she saw the other male start walking over to her direction. She quickly sprinted away, stepping on a few twigs on the way.

Forever lost her energy out quickly, She stopped only running a bit farther into the the wolves' territory. She looked back, hoping the wolf would just ignore her and be his way. She licked her paws. Trying to think of an idea on what to do, quick.

Calyx grinned. Toying with this wolf was usualy the high-point of her day, but today, it just felt wrong. She shrugged it off. "What do you want?" Starfrost's snarl snapped her back into reality. She rolled her eyes. "I want many things," Calyx responded. "A loyal pack, a loving mate, even some pups. But you know what? Thats not going to happen. So I'll just annoy you instead." Calyx tilted her head innocently.

Anger builded up inside Starfrost. "You're swrewed up in the head," She snapped. She looekd around for the wolf. Where could she be? She scanned the ground. Mabye she had a white coat too, like me, and can blend in. It's a possibility. But, she should of noticed her scent by now. Was she going mad? No, wait....Starfrost was looking on the ground, she didn't even think of looking in the trees. She looked up, Calyx's black coat was easily noticable in the trees. "Looks like you found me," She woofed. Starfrost ahd never seen a more beautiful wolf in her life.
