pression didn't change. "We had best be going then" he said. He was glad Calyx couldn't read his mind, because he thought the worst of her at the moment. She was acting in a very juvenile and ignorant manner, flinging Starfrost around like that.  If anyone was a "dumb-nut" it was Calyx.

"What? We're not going to settle this or anything?" Flare exclaimed.

"None of this is any of our concern" Iceblink growled, "We are migrating south either way, the bears will inhabit this land in less than a month; like I said, not our problem if we move now."

"What about Alex? You sent him back, he was hurt" Flare argued.

"We can go and get him. He's a big wolf, he can handle a little scratch" 

Forever listened to Iceblink's strong and very alpha-like words. She wondered who was the alpha in their little 'bachelor' pack. Or were there others ? maybe just in hiding ? she shook her head, nope they would have been all together in one place. She laid her ears against her skull and arched her back a bit. She looked at the ground, which was quickly becoming covered in another la
yer of snow. She nodded, she needed to go her seperate ways as well. She couldn't just jump into their pack' lives. She stood up, shaking the snowflakes off her fur. "I best be going now then.." she said, her voice soft.

"Your a horrible sister!" Starfrost snapped. Calyx went into a giggling fit. She set her down and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, got a little carried away..." She woofed. Starfrost sighed and smacked her into a tree. Calyx started laughing. "Now we're even," she said. Starfrost shrugged. "You're wierd. One day your actin' all evil and such, then the next day your actign like a normal sister." She said. Calyx sat up and held her head low. "Thats just me~" She said in a sing-song voice.

"Wait!" Iceblink protested. "Forever-" he paused. "Why don't you stay with us? Where we are headed is rich in prey, and not populated with any other predators" Iceblink paused. "Well, none that pose a threat to us. Mainly raccoons and opossums, maybe the occasional fox."

Flare snorted. "We'd best leave these two to bicker" he said harshly, snapping his jaws. He pricked his ears to a rustling in the bushes, instantly recognizing Alex's scent. "So you never actually left" Flare chuckled. 

Alex sighed, realizing he gave himself away. "Of course not. No way was I leaving you two surrounded by wolves, none of which we've met before" 

Calyx swished her tail. "Predators?" Her head snapped in Iceblink's direction. "What do you mean?" Starfrost stared at her sister in disbelief. "Bears?" Starfrost said flatly. "Where is your head today? Your not acting like yourself!" Worry sparkled in her eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked. Calyx turned to Starfrost and snarled. "I'm fine! Theres nothing wrong with me!--" She paused. "--Its none of your buisness!" Calyx darted farther into the woods. "Calyx!" Starfrost wailed.

"Oh no..." Starfrost analyzed where her sister had gone. "Oh no...She's going toward the cliff!" She half muttered to herself. She jumpe dup after her. "Calyx, wait!" She howled.

Calyx ignored her. It was none of her buisness. She hissed and ran faster.

Forever stood up and turned around, when she heard Iceblink's voice she turned back to face him. "Are you sure ? I'm not much of a bother to you ?" she asked wagging her tail in excitment. 'God ! Now I'm excited that he may be lettiing me in ? UGH ! stop wagging you stupid tail' she thought, angered at her tail. Her tail kept on twitching, because of her holding back that stupid wag of hers. "Well.. I'll travel with you guys, Then we come to better grounds.. I may leave.." she said pausing for a second, "If that's okay with you.." she continued, adding on. She satd down. Her tail over her front paws.
