Shadow slowly rose to her feet as she got closer and,finally,sprung to her feet and scattered all of the healthy zebra,leaving the hurt one. "Got you now.",Shadow whispered and pounced onto it's back,claws digging into it's skin.

Dark jumped onto some rocks and kept jumping until he made it to the ledge were hids den was and sat down infront of the opening. Moments later he left out a mighty roar and looked around.

Dark looked down at her before looking back up and watching the sun start going down. He watched as a bird flew down to him and said,"Hey do you finally have a female at your side?" Dark shook his head,"I only have my eyes on one,but she isn't my mate,not yet.",he said. With that the bird nodded it's good bye and flew off.

Dark woke up,still on the ledge,and stretched as he yawned and looked down at the all the lionesses in the shade and smirked. He jumped down onto the rocks that he had jumped on last night and onto the ground.
