Volkenagrim wasn't Volkenagrim any longer. He was now his inner darkness. He was now the cursed Daemun called Maleck. Maleck roared out with an aggressive snarl. The giant Beast saw the old Sage and rushed at him. But was stopped by a powerful blast of water. Maleck was knocked out cold and put into a deep sleep. "There... Now I hope you slumber until dawn approaches again." The Sage then left Maleck and returned home. 

The Sage met up with Zurka and then smiled. "I'm so sorry. Please forgive Maleck. He is forced to be in this world and such not meant to exist." He then frowned and asked. "My dear. Do you have a place to sleep and are you hungry?" he asked her. 

"I'm not hungry at all, and as for sleeping I can find anywhere to curl up an sleep for the night."

Maleck was still under the Sleeping Spell's affect. But it was soon wearing off. The Beast's hallow eye holes soon glowed with the flames that were his eyes. He was groggy and felt the cold rain dripping beginning to fall on him. The wind began to pick up in force and also started to wail. Lightening bolts were seen in the distance. The rain worsened. Then sounds of a crashing flowing sound was heard. Maleck heard it and knew he should run. His roar was of an instinct of high annoyance. His huge footsteps could be heard over the sounds of the flowing crashing sound. But suddenly the sounds of the flowing crash got louder. The sound was suddenly revealed to being a huge flash flood. Maleck roared again this time out of pain as the river near him overflowed and rushed him just outside the villages entrance. 

Liam then gasped. "Oh no! The flood caused by violent rainstorms has forced it's way where his territory ends and that is where the village gate begins at the entrance!" he yelled out to Zurka. "I better check on him! But he'd try to kill me.... Unless.. You! Come with me my friend! Please!" He then grabbed her hand and didn't give her time to say yes or no. They quickly found themselves at the gate where Maleck lay. 

The giant beast was very weak and almost drowned. He was sopping wet and barely breathing. He opened one of his flames for eyes and saw Zurka. Maleck snapped at her and Liam. The old Sage Liam drew his sword. "I'm sorry Maleck but you must die if you don't find a Soul Tamer....." He was about to come down on Maleck's head with the blade when he noticed Zurka staring at him. "I'm sorry but Maleck can't be allowed to live if the closest thing to a Soul Tamer is you..... And him not giving you the chance to try to become such.... He will kill and destroy us all.... Even in his near Death state he is now...." He snarled at her with his face scrunching like a lion's would do.

"Look I've been here for less than a day, I don't know if that constitutes as much time but he did worry about me. I don't know what to do, I'm not sure of anything anymore, but I mean, if he's been here this has had to have happened before right? Its only been a day, I'll leave the final choice to you but I'm just saying there is a chance." 

"Might as well make sure you don't wander into town. Besides at least if you do tear me to pieces I can put those pieces back together again."

She regarded Liam calmly.

"I've had run ins with powerful magic in my time as a theif. I've had many spells put on me, hung, torn apart, you name it its probably happened. If I die then I die. No one's ever cared if I lived, no one will miss me if I'm killed. When there is no one to care, and no one to miss you then it doesn't matter as much, because for all you steal and all you try, you'll still be alone. What is success in thiefing from other's work? If I die, then at least I was trying to do something that wasn't selfish for a change."

Maleck growled and tried to stand up. He felt the flood worsening and trying to reach their location now. He stood very wobbly and forced his way at the gate. Then made his head point to the rising river waters. Liam gasped and then saw the danger. "If Maleck tries to stay out of the gates... The flood will kill him and by what I've seen from you and he, I'll not have that happen. We must give him a fighting chance to try to become tamed!" Liam shouted. He then forced open the gates to the village and allowed Maleck to enter. Maleck weakly walked into the village and collapsed. He was too weak to move anymore. His flames for eyes shut and went dark now.

Volkenagrim's head swung back in the chair and clinched his teeth. He was in great pain due to his body weakening. To his body so close to death.

"I stole something like that once when I was "working" for my meals," I don't know what the client wanted with it, but he mysteriously died in a house fire afterwards, so I guess he couldn't handle the thing." 

Volkenagrim's body shook and trembled for some unknown reason as he felt his power being forced into him. His powers he'd been drained of by Liam himself when he was MUCH younger. Then his skin tone became a more healthier look. No longer pale and was now once again pale violet with a black hue to it. The dim light of the fireplace cast it's glow on it making the skin shine with a prismatic hue, like the colors of the rainbow but darker shades. Adding to his dark yet mysterious beauty at certain times like his Black hair with Blood red tips when it is billowing in the wind. Or his wings being shown off in the pale moonlight. His body then glowed with the power beginning to surge within him. That's when disaster was sure to strike. Volkenagrim's old instincts were revealing themselves. His eyes opened wide and glowed with a dark and vicious blood red. He grabbed the Orb with his left arm and the markings one the shoulder that stated "Born Destroyer" began to shine like wild fire on his back. He then looked at Liam and grinned with a sickening smile. "You, old fool..." he snarled. "How long did you hope to keep this from me?" Liam backed away until he was cornered. "Now, now my friend.... Regain control of yourself...! Don't let your Evil Enchantress mother win!" he called out to him. Pleading with him to become the Volkenagrim he had befriended. "Now why should I do that?" questioned Volkenagrim to Liam. "You are the one who drained me of my Souls through this Orb and so left me weak and vulnerable.... Draining me of my powers..." He then turned around and finally noticed Zurka. His eyes seemed to narrow themselves as he looked at her. Then they opened wide. A look of shock and inner struggle was seen in them. Volkenagrim shook his head and roared in pain. His long sharp teeth in his mouth was seen. "Lass! Get that Orb out of his Left hand then you must shatter it!" Liam shouted at Zurka. "It's the only way he can be brought back to his senses!" Then somehow someway Volkenagrim managed to let go of the Orb and sling it down. The Orb was still fueling him with it's powers of his however. "That won't be necessary! Cover it up!" Volkenagrim roared as he was still giving in to the agony of his body. "It's Soul Eye will be blocked the moment it is covered with any sort of cloth!" The floor boards where the Orb of Darkness Souls landed was beginning to catch fire. The whole corner there was now swirling with flames. 

She runs forward and grabs the orb before blasting herself out the window. The cloth wouldn't work with a burning building, and though she could be wounded, burns were much harder to deal with than normal wounds. Once she was out there however, she still had the crazy eye orb to deal with. The smell of carbonizing flesh and bone was only and add on to the pain she was feeling as she threw the thing on the ground, not hard enough to break it but he was a bit hard with it considering the situation. Her top served as a means to try and "muffle the orb's power."
