Marianna hissed when the blade stuck into the tree near Cassie, her ears pulled back as she bared her fangs in the direction it had come form. "Do you believe me now? If you want to keep living, you have no choice but to come with me!" Her tail was lashing behind her, a sign of her obvious agitation and unease. She started moving back and forth, staring through the treetops. Stupid Hunters.

Cassie looked around wildly with fear, then took off after Marianna. Her heart raced wildly, causing everything to suddenly become sharp and clear. The Blessed nearly tripped over several roots, but somehow managed to keep her balance. "Hey! Wait up!"
C.J. let out a long sigh. Damn the wind. For a few moments he debated going after them, but the three of them together would be much stronger than him. He slid out of the tree, landing lightly on the tips of his steel-toed boots. C.J. walked over to the tree and attempted to pull the dagger by the hilt, but gave up after a few tries. He looked in the direction the Blessed had gone in, then began to walk in the opposite direction. He'd better get back up, and fast.

((I have the sudden urge...to make a Blessed with just enough Dove traits to look angelic. xD; -shot-))
Marianna paused, her tail flicking behind her as she looked over her shoulder, waiting on the other Blessed to catch up. "So that we're no longer strangers, what's your name? Mine's Marianna, as I said before," she said, flexing her paw-like hands to sheathe and unsheathe her claws.

Cassidy paused and bent over to catch her breath, her hands on her knees. "I'm Cassidy. Cassidy Faehr." She straightened and narrowed her eyes slightly. "How do you know so much about these... Hunters?"

Cassie frowned, touching the tips of her claws hesitantly to Avalia's paw. "He doesn't know he's your brother? But you know about him?" She closed her eyes for a moment, confused. She then re-opened them, saying, "Have you ever tried to contact him, and tell him about you? Just curious." She flushed with embarrassment.

"Well, he used to, but I suppose he was branwashed. He doesn't know that he is a frog blessed. Frogs are thoguht of as lowly and such, but their DNA in a human is almost completely undetectable and I suppose it is where he gets his jumping skills and swimming from." She scratched the back of her head...

Katriona was too busy congratulating herself on scoring a hit on the little girl when a tiny, but fast-moving form slammed into her. She stumbled and pitched forwards violently. The world tipped and spun around her as she hit the ground, hands slamming down just in time to avoid breaking her nose. Despite this save Katriona's lower half twisted awkwardly and she felt a searing pain run up her leg. No doubt she had broken or fractured something.
She clenched her teeth and dragged herself into a semi-sitting position, body aching and mind on the point of breaking. She had never failed before, and all of the sudden a tiny kid had taken her down. It was infuriating and terrible and Katriona was shivering with disgust at the thought of one of them touching her.
"Stupid brat," she grunted. Katriona still had her knife arm up, ready to defend herself if it came to that. |

Emmy paled at the sight of the knife, her own blood, and the sight of the woman's leg. She let out another high-pitched shriek, partially in fear, partially in anger that the woman had hurt her, even though she hadn't done anything to the woman. She landed on the ground, her wounded leg collapsing under her immediately. "We have to get away!" she panted to the Blessed boy, looking fearfully back at the Hunter.

Aire was in a slight state of shock. He'd hit the nasty woman. He'd knocked her down. He'd done it. Now, where a more logical person would have run away while they had the chance, Aire didn't do this. He had the logic of a child, and that logic was that if he'd hurt her before, he'd do it again. The change in the situation didn't occur to him, even though he was still fearful of the knife. Picking up the branch, which he'd dropped when he'd hit her, he walked towards her. Brandishing the too-long limb of a tree, he swung it at her. He had absoloutely no clue what he planned to do, though. What could he do to her? Besides- at best- give her a small bruise with the stick?
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Emmy watched the boy move forward with the stick with wide eyes. "Hey... Hey kid!" she nearly yelled, her voice squeaky with terror. "We have to get away!" With a whimper of pain she pulled her hand away from her wounded leg, only to see that it was covered with her blood. "Oh, no," she whispered softly, closing her eyes.

Katriona snarled when she saw the kid coming for her again, wielding a too-large branch. He swung at her awkwardly, and despite the pain in her foot, Katriona fended it off with a sharp block. Instead of hitting her face the wood hit her forearm. However, the child had little strength and it did little but bruise Katriona. With a frown she swung her arm away, slapping the weapon to the side.
"Try again," she snapped harshly. Her voice had already taken on a deep quality, coming from deep within the throat. Katriona was frustrated, in pain and very much angry. If she would have been able to stand the children would be in shreds. But as she was, Katriona would have to settle for fending them off with wide arcs of her knife and chasing them off so she could heal. Then, she could track them down. |

The stick was knocked sharply out of Aire's hands, and he glowered at it. Standing as close as he dared, in his mind far enough away so as to not get hurt, but actually within reaching distance of the woman, he scowled at her. ''Why d'you have to be so mean?'' He said, quivering in fear at being so close to the woman weilding the knife. He was pretty sure he was safe, though, so wasn't too frightened, although his heart raced and fluttered as if on fire.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.
