Featherpaw yawned and shifted in the Apprentices' den.He was having trouble sleeping so he got up and walked out of the den,laying in the cool gra.ss.Featherpaw had finally feel asleep when he heard a loud noise.He decided to ignore it.

Sparrowstar pounced and hooked the unsuspecting shrew on her claw. She bit down and it died as the blood poured into her mouth. She went back to unbury the falcon and the two voles she had caught. Her pawsteps quickened as she felt a prescence nearby and she gulped. She wasn't one to show fear, but the scent smelled different, rogueish. She bounded back to camp and dropped the prey. Sparrowstar narrowed her silver eyes and raced abck to see who the scent belonged to...

Colt's sky blue eyes peered out a bush. A white and brown cat was hunting. He had seen this cat before. She was beautiful. He had been following her for some time. She was a great hunter. He watched as she ran away. He bowed his head in dissapointment but looked back up as heard footsteps. He peered out and saw the cat comeing back. He stepped out smiling. "You're a very skilled hutress." he told her.

Forestfire awoke with a start. He looked around. His sister was curled up next to him. He smiled and padded out of the den quickly. He looked around. he padded to the apprentices den and peered inside. Gingerpaw wasn't there. He sighed and spotted her brother. "Featherpaw!" he called racing towards him. "Where's Gingerpaw?" he asked him.

Featherpaw jumped up and glared at Forestfire.Suddenly Gingerpaw raced towards her brother and pounced on him."Here she is"Featherpaw said,trying to get Gingerpaw off him."Gingerpaw get off me!"Featherpaw,said,standing up.

Gingerpaw meowed and swatted at her brother's ear."Here I am Forestfire"She purred,smiling.

Forestfire smiled. "Good" he said. "Do you want to go hunting?" he asked her.

Colt smiled to the cat. "You know, I am here because i like the way you hunt." He said smoothly. "You're very skilled. I don't know many moves like you and i was wondering if you could teach me a few." He asked.

Mistheart shivere. She was cold. She opened her blue eyes and looked around. Forestfire seemed to have disapeared. She stood and padded out of the den. She smiled when she saw him with Gingerpaw and her brother featherpaw.

"Yes"She purred,licking her brother's ear."Please get off me"Featherpaw said.Gingerpaw got off him and smiled.

Dawncloud awoke from sleeping. Her nose was running. Another cold? she thought.

Colt smiled and tried to imitate the position That Sparrowstar was in.

Mistheart walked over to her Apprentice. "Are you trying to take over my job again, Forestfire?" she asked her brother. Forestfire hung his head. He had wanted an apprentice but Sparrowstar had given the apprentice to his sister. "come on. The three of us can go hunting okay?" she smiled flicking her brothers ear with her tail.
