"Hey! No Fair!!" Jake shifted into an eagle and grabbed teh rope with his talons. He shifted human and jumped off the self. "That wasnt fair for a dog..." Jake looked at Josh. "I've never heard you laugh... Was it because you were having fun with me?"

He winced, but answred her question, "He tortured me as a child.. Only five yeras old and he gave me this.." He lifted his shirt to show Alice a long, thick scar that went from his right shoulder to his left hip. He growled, "He sliced me open with a butcher knife..."

He grabbed the rope, flinging it out of the dor and down the hallway. He laughed quietly as Jake followed it. He was glad to have changed the subject away from his father.

Jake ran after teh rope and put his paw on it. He looked aroudn the hallway. Why were we taken here? Its not like we are very dangerous... Jake grabbed teh rope adn ran into teh room. He put it down by Josh's feet.

Josh kicked the rope, sending it spinning. It got caught on the top of the door, and Josh laughed, "Oops. My bad." He watched Jake, waiting to see what he would morph into next. He looked at Alice from the corner of his eye. She looked upset and confused. He stayed silent, letting her think about it.

Jake looked at the rope. "So uncool..." Jake morphed into a cat. He climbed up the door and tossed down teh rope. He jumped off adn landed on teh couch next to Alice. He morphed human. "Oh ya.. will one of you consider being my "owner"? When i was younger i was required to hav an owner to keep me under control"
