Dakota flicked his shaggy hair out of his deep cerulean  eyes, his stomach still pinched with lingering hunger. A dry old burnt piece of toast didn’t really fill him up. But the hunger became more and more numb as the days rolled on into months it was something he was now used to, just a fact of life. He almost forgot what the feeling of no pain or hunger of coldness felt like, but the suffering reminded him he was alive and what he had to do to get out of this hell. Dakota slowly turned, he saw the girl still sitting outside, though he had only seen he face for a split second he found he beautiful from what he could catch,he almost swore he thought her eyes were a bloody red. Walking down the cold cement hallway he slowly opened the huge wooden doors and out into the brisk front yard. He started to feel week, Dakota could barely talk to anyone let alone Rukiea at least that what he thought her name was. “uh..hi?”his deep smooth voice was in a hush voice. He could feel the nervousness flutter through his chest. His large eyes looked around in all directions but hers, embarr*censored*ment filled him making the toast feel like too much food as nausea came Dakota still stood there blankly.

Kyin looked at Riku. "So? What;s up Riku. You never have that ex
pression on your face." He stood up and placed his glas.ses back on. He looked at the scribbles, which now looked like real words. "This while time, you've been writing sideways!! You idiot! This one was our best and we could never read it because you wrote sideways!!"

Riku smiled. "Just be glad we figured out what it's saying now!!" He sighed and handed the paper to Teresa. "It may not make sense, but you can read it too.."

Rukiea turned around and looked at Dakota. She immediately thought he was quite handsome and his eyes were a very unique color to her. "Hello." She smiled and put her hand in Dakota's hair. It was unusually soft for being so shaggy. "Your hair is really soft." She slowly remoed her hand and let his locks fall between her fingers. "So, what's your name? Did you say it was Dakota earlier." She blushed slightly.

Rukiea giggled and looked at Dakota. "No, it's Rukiea, but you were very close." She smiled and felt like her heart had skipped a beat. He was so cute and his eyes were brighter. He looked very sweet and kind. "So.. Dakota, what brings you out here so early? Did you have breakfast?" She remembered an apple she took and shoved in her pocket. She took it out and rubbed a small spot on it with her finger. She shyly held it out to dakota. "You want some?" Her stomach filled with butterflies and her cheeks were a light pink. Her eyes brightening to a soft red. She felt tha cool air around her turn warm and everything was pink tinted. She didn't think this was love. No. It was something different. But what? She tried to look up at him but quickyl returned her eyes to the apple she held in her hand. "If you don't want any, i'll understand."

Kyin laughed. "Of course we can't use lethal ones. That wouldn't be nice.. Even though they weren't nice to us in teh beginning..." He smiled. "Anyways, your right.. We should do it. Our drawings were terrible and now I remember why i went into medicine. I forgot why. But it was to research all this.." He smiled. "Alright. I'll go work on that and see if there is anyway I can work on getting to the staff breakfasts.." He walked to the door and placed his hand on the knob. He shook his head and removed his gl*censored*es. He tossed them to Riku and looked at them His eyes were slightly wider and had a childish glow. "Bye bye!" He walked out.

Riku smiled. "Stupid Kyin.. Always being so childish when he leaves this room. Anyways, I want to ask you something." He sat next to her and looked at her. "What do you think of Kyin? You seem to not look at him in the eyes a lot.. And you seem to get embaras.sed when he gets as close as I am to you.. Or did you blush cuz he complamented you?" He smiled cutely.
