Kyin looked around and nodded. "yup, that'd my brother.." He held his tray and quickly walked over to Riku. He sat down across from his brother and smiled. "Hello Riku... This is Teresa. She was at our door for a little and I went into her room for a while." He smiled and looked at Riku. "well, at least say hi" He looked at his brother. Riku looked at Kyin then Teresa. He turned his attention back to Kyin. "You haven't been eating much.." He grabbed the apple from Kyin's tray and shoved it in his mouth. He handed Kyin the piece of bread he recieved and bit the apple. "eat now.. You don't wana die.." He looked at Teresa. "He swallowed the apple. "Hello..." |

Teresa looked at Riku curiously as he snatched an apple from Kyin's tray. "Hi." She said boldly. Now that she was nearer, she could really see how they were alike. Same stature, hair colour, even their voice was the same, as far as she could tell.
She scanned him over again, then smiled when she noticed their eyes were different. Riku's eyes were silver- much lighter than Kyin's black ones.
That, and Riku didn't have the bullet wound on his arm. She didn't feel like dwelling on that.
She took a seat beside Kyin and popped open her can of orange juice. It was tart and refreshing and made her more alert immediately. She took a gulp and then set it down, still half-full, glancing up at Kyin and Riku again.
"Who's older?" She asked curiously.

Kyin looked at Riku and took the bun. He ate it happily. "You need to eat too, fattie," he said jokingly. He smiled and looked Teresa. "Riku is older.. But at least a minute... I think.. we aren't really sure." He opened his can of Apple juice and it had been shaken. It splashed all over Kyin. He set the can down and shook his hair. "Damn... This is just great.." He sighed. Riku looked at Kyin. "I told you once before, don't get the apple juice.. They are always shaken." he removed his shirt and handed it to Kyin. He took Kyin's shirt and wiped Kyin down. He sighed and put his shirt on Kyin. "Your always doing this.. Now i have to wash this.." he looked at Teresa. "Sorry if my brother is bothering you.. And yes, I am older by a minute.. But we are pretty much twins. Our eye color is the only thing that set us apart" |

"He's not." Teresa replied quickly, her voice a bit defensive as she looked up at Riku. "Kyin helped me. With... stuff." She stopped awkwardly, then frowned. "He does have a tendency to pick me up though." She shot him a half-hearted glare.
She speared a strawberry on her tray and popped it in to her mouth, thinking. The eyes and scars couldn't be the only difference, right? Maybe physically... but were their personalities different? Their likes and dislikes, their strengths and weaknesses?
"You can have the rest of my juice." She said while she was thinking, looking away and flushing slightly as they exchanged shirts. They had been lucky enough to arrive for breakfast early, before the rush. Now the line was twice as long as before. It would take forever to get him a new drink.

Kyin took Riku's shirt and put it on. He looked at Teresa and smiled. "well, sorry abou that. I'm usually not listening to what he says and I don't want to take your juice. Just drink it." He grabbed the small cereal box he was given and ate the cereal. "Ugh.. this is stale again..." He sighed and looked at Teresa. "I do? I've never realised that.." He looked at Riku. "Quit showing off your body. You know your a little more built than I am..." Riku looked at Teresa. "he does that tendency. We had a puppy when we were little and he always carried it. After what happen to our parents, he was always holding onto a small teddybear I was able to keep... He still has that old thing in his room." He gave a small smile that made him look even more like Kyin. "And i'm not showing off, little brother... It's because you got apple juice all over your shirt.. I don't mind walking around without a shirt... I don't want to wear your apple juice shirt.." He ate the cereal. "mine isn't stale.. here" he handed his cereal to Kyin and took Kyins. He ate it.

Teresa grinned, trying to suppress a laugh but only half succeeding. "So I'm a puppy, then?" She teased, downing the rest of her juice. She couldn't remember the last time she had smiled that openly.
She leaned back slightly in her chair. Riku was a lot like Kyin, though the two seemed a bit different. Was Riku calmer somehow? Did he talk differently?
She shook her head slightly to herself. She would figure it out.

Kyin sighed and looked at Teresa. "You know, we are different.. You don't have to wonder how. It will become obvious once we are more comfortable.. trust me, you will see how." He finished up his meal and smiled. "Thank you Riku. I'm gald your willing to give me stuff from your tray." He looked at Teresa again. "No.. Your not a puppy.. But i do have that tendancy to pick things up and cuddle them.." He smiled. Riku looked at Kyin. "Yeah, i thought you'd learn your lesson when you cuddled the small cactus plant that Jake gave you." He laughed and finished his food. He stod up and took Kyin's tray. he dumped it into the trash and put the tray above the can. "well, you guys want to go outside? we have like... an hour or so before the headdmaster wakes...." |

Teresa arched her eyebrows, but decided to say nothing to Kyin's last comment about picking things up and cuddling them. Instead she nodded to Riku's suggestion. "Sounds good. It's nice out for a winter morning." She smiled, not bothering to explain to Riku how she knew. It seemed like just minutes ago that she had marched out in to the chill air, and Kyin had found her there.
In reality it had been, maybe, three hours?
She emptied her tray and stood up from her seat, biting into the apple in her hand while she waited for the brothers.

Kyin looked at Teresa and followed her. He walked down the hall and into his room. He grabbed a shirt for Riku and the old teddy bear he had. He held it close to him and walked out. He handed Riku the shirt. "here... Wear it.. Now.." He placed the shirt on Riku's shoulder and smiled a little. "I'm actually happy today.." He smiled and held Riku's hand. He walked outside and down the steps. He saw the sun wasn't ery high. "It hasn't been that long." Riku put on teh shirt then was dragged by Kyin outside. "ow.. The sun is really bright.." he fell over and landed on his hands and knees. He looked at a bug that was crawling. "Kyin, please be more careful." he stood up and carried Teresa. He placed her next to kyin and backed away. "You know. i think you two would get along greatly." |

"Not you, too." She gasped when she was picked up suddenly by Riku. She felt somewhat uncomfortable, as always, being carried around by a guy. It didn't last long enough for her to struggle properly though; she was placed carefully beside Kyin a few moments later.
"You know. I think you two would get along greatly." Riku said.
Teresa blinked, then frowned, confusion clear in her pale hazel-green eyes. "What do you mean?" She asked. Does he mean he thinks me and Kyin could be friends? The thought made her eyes widen. It had been so long since she had a real friend.

RIku smiled. "i just think You and Kyin would be great friends. Kyin's never had a friend here." Riku walked over and grabbed Kyin's bear. "Kyin, quit carrying this awound, you should know better. What if you drop it or it snags on something? I can't fix it again. i don't have string or a needle.." he felt blood drip down his leg. He lifted his pant leg and noticed his bullet wound was bleeding again. "your kidding me.." Kyin looked at Riku. "teresa, can you fix his wound like you did mine? His keeps opening..." He looked at teresa like puppy would when it wanted attntion. (fail) |

Teresa perked up. "I have thread and a needle..." She said as he mentioned fixing the stuffed bear.
At that moment, Riku's bullet wound started bleeding.
"Your kidding me..." Riku said.
Teresa echoed those words in a murmur. "Follow me." She said, but paused and glanced back at Riku, her ex
pression worried.
"Nevermind, you shouldn't walk with that wound. I'll go get the kit." She ran off to get the first aid kit that was hidden under her bed.

Kyin looked at Riku and then the wound. "don't worry, she will fix you up nicely.. She did stitch my room back together.." he smiled and placed his hand on Riku's shoulder. "don't you worry at all." he looked around and grabbed Riku's pants. He bit the cloth and it ripped easily. he ripped the pants just below Riku's knee. "That should be more confortable right now.." Riku nodded. "it is.. And i'm glad your finally making friends. Your first since we got here." he smiled and stood up slowly. (fails....) |

(( Not at all. :D I kind of left you there with nothing to do, after all. P: ))
Teresa hurried back, then set the kit on the floor beside her. She got on her knees in front of Riku, throwing a grateful glance at Kyin that he had ripped Riku's pantleg so that she could see- and work on- the wound better.
"Thanks." She breathed, then opened the kit and set to work on Riku's leg. Her fingers moved quickly and efficienty, and when she was done she took out the gauze and wrapped it tightly around Riku's leg.
"There," She said, leaning back and tucking away her materials. "You should be able to move comfortably, but it'll keep the wound safe from infection. If it's too tight let me know." She looked satisfied.
She didn't stand up right away. She stayed where she was; on the cold, snowy floor, head tilted back just slightly to stare at the pale, shrouded sun.
"Have you ever wanted to escape?" She whispered.
