Faythe padded towards the badlands border, having followed the scent of a tasty piece of prey. But as she looked across the barren landscape a shiver rose up her spine, remembering the only time in her life she had ever crossed into it. Her brother had become a loner, and she had, at the time, wanted to do nothing more then follow him. But he had sent her backpedaling with a snarl, saying that when she was older and still wanted to become a loner he would be waiting on the other side. Letting a low growl of frustration flow from her throat, she spotted a loner slinking along the horizon and knew who it was. She had met him once or twice, him bring information about her brother from the badlands. She did not trust a hair on Dimitri's, the loners, pelt. He had a faraway look and always seemed to prefer the shadows to friends of any kind. She howled a friendly greeting, but knew she would not get one back from him, and he just bolted long legs swiftly taking him out of her sight. Mentally chuckling, she started back towards the packs territories, keeping a keen eye out for any other wolf. It annoyed her to no end how desperate all of the wolves seemed to be for a mate, and she had decided that she wanted to take no part in the normal ritual. Sure it would be nice to have some sort of relationship, but not if it meant throwing herself at anyone and trying to be the best for a certain wolf. Snorting, she hoped no other wolf had heard her call.

Kaze soon came across the scent of a deer running towards it he didnt see the she wolf until he crashed into her.He then jumped up and took off running before he lost the scent of the deer which was just in the next clearing, pouncing on it he soon killed it and was dragging it back to where his sister was but not before ripping off a leg and giving it to the female he bumped into his way of appolagising for bumping into her before he turned human and carried the deer back to his sister.

Faythe scowled as the male wolf crashed into her, getting back to her paws with a huff and shook her fur clear of dust. "What was his rush?" She grumbled to herself and was about to start walking again when the sound of paw steps returned. Glancing over he shoulder, she was a bit surprised by the offer he gave her and nodded her thanks. Sniffing the meat, she shrugged and took it back towards her den, sitting the the entrance and gnawing on the bone. Once finished, she licked her lips clear and sighed in boredom.

Kaze knew it was going to take his sister a while to wake up so he sat ontop of the den and howled a song while he waited he wasnt calling for a mate he just liked howling it relaxed him alot and when his sister joined they both blended in with eachother. ((with his howling think Link in wolf form on twilight princess)) |

Faythe flicked her eras in surprise at the song and got up from her den. Padding into the forest, she felt her heart swell at the familiar sound and picked up speed. Stopping by the clearing, he green eyes took in the sibling pair and remembered how her and her older brother had done the same thing. Sitting a few feet from them she howled along as well, just enjoying the company of these unknown wolves for as long as it lasted.

Hearing the other Howl Kaze thought it was his sister and carried on howling until he smelt the scent of the female he bumped into stopping the howl he jumped down and tilted his head at her watching her his tail wagging abit thinking how beautiful her howl was compared to other females whos howl was nothing compared to hers. He then walked over to her "your howl is beautiful" he said to her which was rare for him to talk to others besides his sister and even rarer to hear a complement.

Faythe stopped howling and blinked and surprise. He gave him a quick glance then looked into the woods. Shrugging her shoulders, she wondered how she managed to get herself in these kind of situation. "Thanks, but I dont hold a candle to some of the other she-wolves around here. Not that I mind." She grinned helplessly at him then at the other she-wolf. "Im sorry if I interuppted, I just heard you singing and decided to join in, very few of the wolves do any more." She barked happily, getting to her paws and padding around the clearing. "Are you new around here?"

((Kazumi is still asleep XD i ment if she was to join in lol)) Kaze smiled at her "i think its the other way around other she wolves cant hold a candel together compared to you" he said smirkign then nodded "your right not many do anymore its like even in a pack everyones a loner in their own way and yes me and my sister are new here what about you?" he asked her being nice. |

((Oh, I get it now XD Sorry.)) Faythe looked down to hide the fact that she was embarr*censored*ed by the compliment. "Yeah, its almost the same with our pack. Theres the alpha's who tend to hang alone, the beta's, and the civilians. The higher ups never seem to have anything to do with us." She muttered, shrugging nonchalantly. Glancing over at the sleeping wolf, she mentally chuckled. "Naw, I'v lived here most of my life, cant say that I like it thought." Glancing at him, then away, she itched to run, yet something held her there. "Have you never lived in a pack?" She asked curiously. |

Kaze nodded "i did at one time but me and my sister left because of the Alpha of our pack he wanted my sister as his mate when she didnt want to so i attacked him and left with her" he said to her looking down thinking about how scared she was and how he swore to her they would only go in a pack if she is happy with it.

Faythe stared at the poor she-wolf in sympathy. "Thats awful, why would anyone try and force someone to become their mate." She bristled slightly at the very thought of it. "You should have shredded him, its what he deserved." She snorted. "Our alpha would not do that, nor would he let anyone even think of trying it." She muttered, looking at the sky.

Kaze looked at her "i tried but in our old pack it was attack the alpha for any reason and they attack you and because it was mating season the alpha can pick any female he wants but they have to agree to be with him and she didnt but he told everyone she did, i was there i heared her say no but everyone belived the alpha he gets me so wound up i just want to...." he said his fur standing on end thinking of the alpha and wanting to rip him appart right now as he starts growling at the ground as if it was him.

Faythe sighed in aggervation, pacing back and forth. Finally she sat down and took a breath to calm herself. She did not know the she-wolf, but to be forced like that against your will was almost unthinkable. "Well, she's safe now, and she's got you to watch after her." Faythe muttered, forcing her fur to lie flat. "So thinking of the past wont help the situation."

Kaze nodded calming down instantly when he heared her having a coughing fit looking in at his sister he turned human and ran over sitting her up rubbing her back trying to stop them before she stopped and he lay her back down and sighed hes not a medic so he doesnt know what to do to help her walking back out he sighed. "Sorry about that shes prone to coughing fits every now and then and i dont know what to do" he said sadly.

Faythe watched his sister for a second, wondering. She debated on weather or not to shift, feeling a bit exposed in her human form. Finally she gave in and let her human form take over. Walking over to the girl, a little clumsily on two legs, she crouched down beside the other girl. "I'v heard that Fever-few is good for cough, but im not sure this is just a normal cough." She told him, looking up. "But I guess its worth a try."

Faythe went through her memory from when she was young and remembered the plant her mother gave her when she was sick. "Its got spiky leaves, and is slightly smooth and slick feeling. It smells sweet and slightly bitter." She told him, opening her eyes back.
