"Ugh! Must you do this every year, Petunia?!" Lily nearly yelled at her sister, who was standing in front of her with her arms crossed. "Yes, I must! Because you're still a freak, Lily! You and that poor boy, the Snape boy..." Petunia sneered. Although she'd never, ever, ever admit it to herself, she was rather jealous of Lily. Lily was always the smarter one, Mum and Dad always favored her... and going to this school was only making it worse. But instead of crying or even looking the least bit sad like Petunia wanted, Lily just rolled her eyes. "First of all, his name is Severus. And we're not freaks. Not here, anyway. Don't you get it? This is where I belong. So, if you'll excuse me..." Lily pushed her sister out of her way before running through the wall to Platform Nine and Three Quarters with a last wave to her parents. For the past five years, that was the normal way she had left to go to Hogwarts. Arguing with her sister. In fact, Lily could hardly remember the last time she and Petunia had actually gotten along. She frowned slightly as she boarded the train, sitting down in a still-empty cart. She liked to be the first one. ((Sort of a fail yay.))

"Shut up." Severus glared at his father, ducking his swinging hand before sliding through the wall. Oh, how he hated that man. And to think, he had to bear his last name. Pffft. He boarded the train, looking around and noticing he was early. He sulked through the aisle, looking for a cart that met his fancy.

After a couple minutes of watching students outside the train, Lily noticed Severus board the train. She smiled, then stepped out of the cart to go see where he was.
