"A wordless spell, sir, is when a wizard preforms a spell, but they don't say it out loud- you know, they only say it in their head. And it still works. However, it takes a lot of concentration and you have to be focused entirely on the spell you wish to preform." Lily grinned.

Lily took the corner of one of her fingernails into her mouth, chewing on it nervously. She was usually the first to volunteer, but wasn't so sure about it now. Wordless spells were really hard.

Lily burst into a fit of giggles, watching the boys' reactions. They looked furious. "Professor, could I try?"

Lily smirked, and with great concentration, stared at James. She decided to take him down first, because Sirius looked mad. Her eyes narrowed to slits, she watched as James began to move down slowly. She grinned, and then he forcefully came the rest of the way down, landing on the ground hard with a 'thud.'
