Lily sighed as she climbed into her bed, thinking of James and Severus and comparing their kisses (Sev's were more romantic and sweet, while James' were kind of crazy and passionate) and wondering how she could go to being a 15-year old kiss-virgin to having kissed her best friend and made out with one of the most popular boys at Hogwarts in the same day. Ugh, she was never going to sleep tonight.

Lily propped her head up on her pillows, staring at the ceiling as she thought. Thought of the speech she would give to Severus in the morning, that is. Yes, she would keep the promise and tell him- mostly because she knew James would jump at the opportunity if she didn't.
She also thought of what the two boys would be doing right now. Lily assumed James would be talking to the other Maruaders about tonight... A thought that made her crinkle her nose. There was a small spot in her mind that was convinced James was using her to get Sev jealous. A spot that was certain they were all laughing at her stupidity. Lily groaned, rolling over on her stomach to bury her face in the pillows.

James plopped down onto his bed, chuckling. "She's pretty good at that, too." He smirked. "Oh, the things I would've gave to see Snivellus' face..." He sighed. "But I may get a date out of this, so all is well. Good thing I like her, Sirius, or I never would've agreed to this little bet."

Lily sighed when sunlight began to brighten the girls' dorms, and she heard people shuffling. How much sleep did she get? An hour? This was not good. Nobody should be this tired, ever. Slowly, she got out of bed, getting ready by tapping her wand to her shirt. Her pajamas changed to her uniform and her hair was smoothed down by an invisible brush. She headed off down the stairs, determined to find Severus before James could.

"Sev," Lily said softly, on the verge of tears. "Sev, I kissed Potter. Well, he kissed me, but I kissed back." She looked at him sadly. "Don't be mad," she tried to add, but the end of her sentence was stopped short and she felt a couple tears roll down her cheeks.
