Sorai pouted. "Well, you were still moving... And it's no worse than a metal door to the face," he pointed out, sticking out his tongue at the catboy, ears swiveling around. "But I didn't hurt you on purpose, y'know." He nodded, backing up his point. The oil-slick-fall had made it hurt to sit down, but he didn't care too much. The face thing he did, but not his but. As long as he could walk he was all good.

Ryo sighed and said, "Well, I guess you're right." He turned over, blinking at the dogboy. "But now, my face hurts. And my arms, and my chest, and right wrist." He shoved his hand in Sorai's face, frowning. "My palm is red." he whined.

Sorai blinked at the red palm before licking it, canine instincts taking over again. Like a dog would clean his comapanion's wounds...or like a cat would do, for that matter. He hoped that Ryo understood that that was what was going on. Nothing but wound-cleaning. As long at the feline didn't get any wrong ideas, he was good. |

"Ew, dogboy saliva." Ryo brought his hand back to himself, staring at it. He wiped it on his jeans, then looked back up at Sorai. "Try and keep your instincts under control, please. Being a feline, I find dog saliva rather...disgusting."

Sorai pouted. "Only trying to help," he stated, ears flattening slightly. He then chuckled. "And what do you think a dog is gonna do when you shove your hand in its face? Either bite it or lick it. Which would you rather it be?" he askewd, opening his mouth to show his dog-like teeth, grinning. Then he stood up, holding out his hand to help up the cat.

( Am not. D: ) Ryo took Sorai's hand and pulled himself up, sighing. "Fine, but don't bite me." he muttered. He looked up at Sorai, ears perking up, "You gotta promise, or else I'll gouge your eyes out when you bite me." A smile curled the corners of his lips a little.

Sorai beamed at him. "Promise. I need my eyes oto see, y'know," he said, reaching up to lightly tug at the catboy's fuzzy ears, his own pricked. A cat's ears always seemed so big to him. He wasn't sure why, but they did. In relation to their heads, anyways.

( D: Well, that's just for the indeed thing. _ Ryo's ears swiveled away from Sorai's hand, as they tended to do whenever someone tried to touch his ears. "Okay, now I get to touch your ears." He reached over and pulled lightly on Sorai's ears, and his own ears pricked up. "Hey, they're different than mine...not just by appearance...Your's are...rougher." His ears pulled back a little.

Sorai nodded. "Cat ears are soft and fuzzy. Most dogs' ears just the opposite. And, I have a statement. A dog's nose is the most sesitive spot on their whole body...so think on that next time you shut a door on me, m'kay?" he stated, smiling as his tail wagged. Having his ears rubbed, or just touched, really, felt good to him.

Ryo's ears pointed forward. "But you've got a fluffy tail, so shouldn't your ears be fuzzy and soft to match it?" His ears pointed back. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know..." he said quietly. His brain registered that Sorai's tail was wagging, and Ryo rubbed the one ear he was holding with the pad of his thumb, tilting his head a bit. Guess dogs really do like having their ears pet. he thought.
