Sorai blinked, cocking his head to the other side as he watched the brothers, slightly amused. Sometimes he wished he had had a sibling, but usually he told himself that he would have had to drag them with him to Circus Gothica since his loyalty runs very, very strong.

Yeah, he was an obedient, loyal dog. But aren't those the best kind?

Espen looked up, spotting Sorai almost immediately. "Hey-y-y-y!" he called, waving wildly. He trotted over, smiling at Sorai before looking over the rest. "Okay, so, who are you all again? You all seem familiar, but..."

Nathan and Nathaniel only blinked.

Sorai's ears perked up at Espen's voice, turning his head to look back at one of the few people in Circus Gothica that seemed willing to talk to him on a regular basis if he could be found, unlike Ryo. He smiled, tail wagging lightly.

"This is Nathan, Nathaniel, and Evessence," he told Espen, ears twitching lightly.

((They did tell Sorai their names, right? o:))

"Oh yeah," Espen flicked his hair out of his face. Two tigers padded up behind him, scaring Nathan half to death.

"Wahh! They're gonna eat me!" he exclaimed, making Nathaniel jump slightly.

"No, they're not. They're obviously trained," he said, taking a brief pause after he spoke. "Wait, they're trained, right?"

Espen only smiled, patting Death's head. "You could ask around," he suggested.

Sorai looked back at the tigers, grinning. He showed no fear at all of the large cats, which could easily tear him apart if they wanted to. He knew better than to try and chase those kitties, so he decided he was content with just watching them, and possibly petting them.

Too bad Ryo never let anyone pet him, Sorai thought, ears swiveling a little.

( Lmao. xD S'okay. )

"What's wrong?" Espen asked, shifting his weight to another leg. "It looks kind of like something's bothering you."

Nathan had gone ahead and started petting the tigers, forgetting his manners. But, Nathaniel hadn't forgotten them, and was standing next to Espen, staring down at his ears. Just like Ryo's ears, Sorai's were extremely tempting to touch. "C-can I touch?" he asked, raising his hand to Sorai's head.

( Nyaa. Dx Nuuu. )

Nathaniel set his hand on top of Sorai's head, then began to rub one of Sorai's ears between two fingers. Soft, he thought. but somehow a bit rough.

"You...didn't answer my question, Sorai." Espen said, poking Sorai's cheek. Then Nathan was stroking Sorai's other ear, at the same time being glared at by Nathaniel.

Ash smiled at the boy ho mentioned her b eing not human. "I'm Ash." She smiled to each of them.

Sorai, who had pretty much blissed out with his tail wagging happily, blinked up at Espen. "Oh, no, nothing's wrong. Well, my face does still hurt a little, but it's fine," he told him, smiling. Since both of his ears were being rubbed, he didn't know which way he should lean, so he just stayed put, obviously happy to just sit there and let them pet him. He loved getting petted.

Maybe it was just a dog thing?

"Ash," Nathan repeated, shuffling over to her. "Can I pet your ears, Ash?" He smiled.

Espen chuckled, smiling. "You didn't notice the door was shut...?" It wasn't much of a question, like he just wanted to point it out.

Espen opened his mouth to speak again, but Nathan interrupted him. "Sorai, do dogs see in black and white?" he asked, turning around.

"I don't think you should ask Sorai that...He's not a dog." Nathaniel said, giving Nathan a disapproving look.

"D'aww," Nathan puckered his lips, pouting. "I thought you would know..."

Nathaniel sighed. "And you fail to listen to what else he had to say." he said, rubbing Sorai's other ear now. "It's typical of Nathan, but still."

Sorai tilted his head to the other side when Nathaniel started rubbing his other ear, tail still wagging away. "It's fine. I do that sometimes, too," he told him, ending up making another one of his little happy-whine-noise-things.
