"That's fine," Ryo meowed. He blinked when he did, then touched his throat lightly. "Dunno what that was, but okay. Let's go." He stuck a hand out so he could help Sorai up.

Sorai giggled a bit. "It was a meow!" he chirped, taking Ryo's outstretched hand to accept his aid in his getting up. "Just like I bark sometimes, I'm sure you've meowed a time or two~" he said, grinning.

"When I was younger, yes." Ryo said, pulling Sorai up onto his feet. "I meowed a lot, and acted like a real cat. But, still, some meows to find their way into my voice from time to time." He sighed.

((Fff. I acted like a cat, too, before I got my ADHD meds. :D)) Sorai chuckled. "I was more like the family pet than a son for the first few years of my life. I think I even ate dog food," he said, blinking lightly before shaking his head. "I mean, I still act more like a dog than a person, but at least I walk upright instead of on all fours."

( I acted like a dog in fourth or fifth grade. o3o I can't remember. ) Ryo frowned, ears lowering. "Not pleasant," he said. "I know I wasn't fed cat food, just treated differently. My sisters, since they were younger, often went off telling everyone I was their pet, instead of saying I was their older brother." He sighed. "I don't know if it was a joke or they actually didn't realize that I was their older brother, or if they were just being mean."

Sorai shrugged lightly. "The dog food was my choice, actually," he told Ryo, heading for the door, his steps showing that he was being careful. Then a thought burst into his mind and he paused to turn around. "And this also means I can't chase you for a while," he stated, pouting lightly. He was going to be so bored until his tail healed.

Ryo threw his head back and laughed, tail whipping once. "You're going to be really bored now, aren't you, Sorai-puppy-dog?" he asked, smiling and walking towards the door as well. "I'll walk away from you instead of run, if that helps." he offered.

Sorai laughed a bit himself, opening the door up as he talked. "Once I'm sure I can actually walk without falling on my face," he agreed, grinning at the neko. He was glad that he was able to make Ryo laugh, something that didn't really happen very often apparently.

Ryo smiled. "I'll catch you if you fall now," he said, letting his hair fall into most of his face. "So, I guess you don't need to worry about face-planting into the ground...for now." He chuckled.

Sorai stuck out his tongue as he exited the train, teetering a moment. "He chuckled softly, turning his head to grin at Ryo. "Thanks," he said happily, ears perked up. ((D:> Ugh. My brain is being a fail. D:))

( D: ) Ryo's own ears perked up, and they both twitched. "No problem," he said, following Sorai. He closed the door behind the both of them, jumping off the edge of the balcony-thingy and turning around, holding his arms out for Sorai. "Jump." Ryo said, a smile pulling at his lips. "I'll catch you."

Sorai blinked down at him, ears flicking back a bit. After a few moments of thinking it over, he decided to trust Ryo. He took the leap of faith, praying that Ryo wouldn't miss. He knew he'd end up landing on his tail again, which would only make it worse.

( x3 Coon made a graphic of a border collie jumping off a cliff, and it read, "Leap of Faith". Coincidence? ) Ryo caught him easily, laughing when he did. "See, I told you." he said, still holding Sorai. "I've been catching gymnasts jumping off high posts for a while now, so I'm pretty good at catching people now." He wasn't sure if he had asked Sorai to jump just so he could hold him.

Sorai blinked up at Ryo. "You know, you're a lot more agile than I am," he said after a bit. He was pretty amazed at everything the neko had done, while he had just been no more than some plaything until recently when he join Circus Gothica. He didn't really have any special talents that set him apart from others, so he wasn't really sure why Darius accepted him. Maybe it was just to have another pet...? ((It's like I can see these things through the computer. .3.))

( o3o Maybe you can. ) "I'm part cat, aren't I?" Ryo asked, setting Sorai down. "Cats are pretty damn agile." He chuckled. Though he didn't realize what Sorai was thinking, he had thought the same thing once, himself. But, turns out, Darius just really liked him. It wasn't because of his cat ears, it was because Ryo always stuck to Darius, and they became friends quickly. It was the same with Sorai: Darius could care less about Sorai's ears and tail. He liked Sorai for being a good friend.

Sorai chuckled softly. "Dogs...not so much," he said, waiting a moment to balance himself out. "Or at least I'm not," he said, smiling. Then he started off, pausing to wait for Ryo, his steps careful. He was really trying his best to keep himself from falling over and having his face meet the ground.

"Ah, I've noticed." Ryo said, chuckling. "But, most people prefer dogs to cats, so," He shrugged, then walked after Sorai, ears perked up. "It's okay though, 'cause cats don't like people too much."

Sorai chuckled softly. "No, they prefer puppies. When dogs go to the pound, usually it's the puppies that go and the adults that stay to get put down," he said, frowning lightly. He felt bad for all those poor critters. "But that's just how a lot of people are, I guess." After a few moments, he poked Ryo lightly, head cocked to the side. "You know, I've heard that cats don't come when they're told, they come when they want to. Is that true?" he asked out of the blue, blinking his big, dark eyes.

Ryo nodded. "It's very true." he said, chuckling a little. "But, some cats can be trained to respond to their name, though it's really difficult to train them." He shrugged, "Just ask my mother," When he said that, he laughed.
