Sorai laughed as well, grinning at the neko. "Dogs are very obedient, so they're easy to train. Most of the time." He chuckled softly, shrugging. "You can train them if they decide to pay attention long enough."

"Will you pay attention long enough?" Ryo asked, tilting his head at the dogboy. "Or will you just ignore whoever's trying to train you?" He smiled at that. "I think you would, actually."

Sorai chuckled. "They've already tried training me," he stated, grinning deviously. "I think I drove them nuts so they gave up." He shrugged again. "Not that it matters. I like having at least a bit of free will."

Ryo nodded. "I think we all do," he said, patting the top of Sorai's head. "Why else would we live in a free country?" He smiled at Sorai, the tip of his tail curling. He liked being with Sorai. It was a little like being with himself, because he used to be like Sorai. Not anymore, though.

Sorai lowered his head slightly as it was patted, ears swiveling forward as he chuckled. "That's true," he said, smiling. If his tail wasn't broken, he'd be wagging it right about now.

Ryo sighed, pushing his hands into his pockets and looking up at the sky. "I'm kind of bored, still. What else is there to do right now?" He looked back down at Sorai. When he did, he remembered what he had said just before Maria had attatcked poor Sorai, and he blushed lightly. That may have been the stupidest thing I have ever said.

"Sure," Ryo said, flicking his hair out of his face. "Let's do that." Okay, he might not remember. Especially because he conked out while Maria was here, so that may have caused some memory loss. Either that, or he'll remember pretty soon.

Sorai smiled, heading off towards the nearest popcorn vendor. After a few steps, he paused. He remembered what had happened just before Maria had decided to drop in and ruin his day. Ohhhh. Is that why he was blushing? he thought. As the words came back to him, he felt a light blush warming his cheeks, just like it had done then. Had he been serious about that, r had he only been joking? The way Ryo had been looking at him, he wasn't sure. |

Ryo stared after him, blinking his black eyes. "Oh, he walked away." he said, walking towards him with his tail hung low. The way he stopped in his tracks...that couldn't be good.
