Ryo chuckled again, shaking his head a little. "Yeah, okay." he said, sounding sarcastic, though he wasn't. "C'mon," He stood, bringing Sorai up with him, and his ears perked up when he did. There was an owl out... A little creepy, but it suited Circus Gothica.

Sorai's ears twitched lightly, the dogboy turning his head towards the sounds of the owl. He blinked tilting his head slightly as he stayed there, ears twitching in different directions to see which one the sounds were coming from.

A few moments later he shook his head, ears flattening a bit. "Sometimes, I swear I'm supposed to be a hound dog," he murmured.

"Hound dog," Ryo repeated, walking inside the train and blinking in the darkness. "Right, uh... I always wonder if the lights are motion-detecting, but-" The lights turned on. "Okay...weird. C'mon, Sorai. You won't stumble around now."

( Lawlz. My brother: "Ey!" Me: "Whut?" Him: "Not you! I was talking to...my...uh, boyfriend." *grins* )

Sorai followed behind the neko, making a small little surprised noise as the light as-saulted his eyes, which had grown used to the dark. He rubbed his eyes and blinked a few times, trying to let his eyes readjust to the now bright area.

((Sullens does that to us. He cuts the lights off to give us our notes to copy, then, without any warning at all, he cuts those bright suckers back on. DX))

"Not my fault, sorry," Ryo said, sitting down in a random chair. "They just magically come on when someone walks into this car." He rubbed an eye, making a tiny noise as he yawned. It sounded like a kitten was mewing.

Sorai padded over to take a seat in another chair, stretching out with a yawn, ears pinning back. His yawn ended with a little whine-like noise, just like some dogs. He looked over at Ryo, having noticed the mew-like sound with a small smile. The sound was kind of....cute, actually.

My cat's only kitten sounded adorable each time she mewed. Dx But my mother gave her away while we were on vacation. )

Ryo blinked, noticing Sorai, who seemed to be staring at him. "Hmm? What is it?" he asked, ears flicking back and forth twice. He hadn't noticed his tiny mew, since it happened everytime he yawned. There was nothing unusual about it.

Sorai blinked, ears twitching a bit. "I just noticed that you seem to mew every time you yawn," he answered, not having really payed any attention before. Maybe it was because it was so quiet now that he had to hear it, or maybe it was because he had nothing now to take his focus off of his feline friend.

Sorai chuckled lightly. "You seem like you have more control over your instincts than I do, considering the fact that I still bark a lot," he said, tilting his head slightly. "You rarely make any cat-like noises, while I'm always whining or making some other dog-like noise..."

"Yeah," Ryo blinked. "I can control my instincts pretty well, unlike you, no offense." He couldn't help but smile at what he'd just said. "It's kind of cute, though." he murmured, quietly, looking down at his lap. His cheeks felt a little hot. Maybe he should stop complimenting Sorai under his breath.

Sorai grinned, sharp doggy teeth visible now. "Maybe it's because I'm the kind of dogboy that would rather not try to blend in. I've never been ashamed of what I am, no matter how many times people have tried." He nodded to reinforce his point before leaning forward, towards Ryo. "I'm proud to be a canine, because everything that comes with it is a part of who I am. there's not a thing I would go back and change," he said, then paused.

"Well, I would like to go back and bite Maria," he corrected himself, grinning again. He looked up at Ryo as he heard him say something, but he wasn't exactly sure what the neko had said. He cocked his head to the left slightly, that ears flattened while the other perked up in a puppy-like gesture.

Ryo could only smile at Sorai, as he had never gone too far into the subject of eared-and-tailed persons like Sorai and himself. In fact, Sorai had been the only other person he'd known of that was eared-and-tailed besides himself for a while. Until he met...all those other people he'd met today.

"Sorai," Ryo said quietly, lowering his gaze a little.

Sorai tilted his head again, white-tipped black ears twitching, dark eyes curious. He chuckled softly, smiling at the neko. "That happens to me sometimes, too," he said, leaning back in the chair.
