((Sorry for taking so long :P Here goes))
"C'mon, Madi. Put Finlay in 'er cage and let's get goin' before we miss the train!" Tom said, before bustling over to his assistant manager of the Leaky Cauldron to make sure she'd be okay with handling the place until he got back. Madison called Finlay, holding out her fingers for her to sniff. She gave her a quick scratch behind the ears before picking her up carefully and placing her in the cat carrier Tom had bought her for Christmas last year. Finlay meowed in protest, and Madison shushed her. "They won't let you on the train 'less you're in there!" she said matter-of-factly, and then her ex pression softened at the pitiful look Finlay was giving her, "I'll let you out once we're in our compartment." She packed a few last minute items into her trunk and put her unbrushed hair behind her ears. She rushed downstairs to Tom, who was waiting rather impatiently. "Ready." she said, beaming.
Madison side-along apparated with Tom to King's Cross, and he showed her to platform nine and three quarters. Tom gave her a quick hug before she left. She was unsure about running at a brick wall at first, but trusted Tom enough to do it, even if she did have her eyes shut tightly. When she opened her eyes again, she was on the platform, and looking directly at the deep red carriages of the Hogwarts Express. "Wow." she uttered under her breath.

Ambrosia Wolfric stood behind the chair her daughter was sitting on, brushing Caitlyn's hair until it was as smooth as silk. When she was satisfied with it, she plaited it neatly down her back. "Have you got everything, dear?" she asked. Caitlyn nodded, "Yes mother." Ambrosia smiled at her daughter and took Caitlyn's face in her palms. "Remember what I taught you and you'll do brilliantly." she said affectionately. Caitlyn nodded and repeated her mother's advice, "Lying will get you anywhere, but make sure you can't be caught out in it." "Very good." Ambrosia said. Caitlyn held her trunk tightly in her hand in anticipation for apparating with her mother. Caitlyn walked through the barrier between platforms nine and ten with her mother by her side. Her eyes widened as she saw the great train, but she said nothing. Together they waited for boarding to commence.
***
"So... where's the platform?" Ridge asked his older sister Daphne. She shook her head in confusion as she looked around. All she could see were platforms nine and ten. "In the letter it said that it was between the platforms. That you had to go through the barrier. It's utterly absurd, in my opinion." Nine year old Arabella tugged on Ridge's sleeve. "Just go through the barrier then." she suggested. Ridge shrugged, not able to think of a better idea. Before Daphne could say anything, he had pushed his trolley through the barrier and onto platform nine and three quarters. Arabella skipped after him, and made it through. Daphne stood, looking awestruck. She couldn't even try to make sense of it, so she just did what her younger siblings had done and walked straight at the barrier. However, instead of going through it, she hit straight into it, and feel backwards onto the stone floor. She held a hand to her head, which hurt like, well, like she had just hit into a brick wall. Passers by looked at her like she was mad. Except for one woman. She helped Daphne up and whispered to her, "Are you family of a muggleborn?" Daphne nodded. "Why can't I get through?" she fretted, "I have to get to Arabella and Ridge!" The woman chuckled, "I take it they're wizards and you're not?" seeing that Daphne still didn't quite understand, she explained, "Muggles - that is, non-magic folk - can't get through the barrier. There's an enchantment on it." This didn't give her any sense of relief. In fact, she just panicked even more. "But I have to get through! My little sister's in there! She's only nine! And I have to say goodbye to Ridge!" "What do they look like?" the woman asked kindly. "Excuse me?" she asked, confused. "You're siblings. What do they look like?" she repeated. "Well, Arabella's got curly brown hair, and, like I said, she's nine. She's wearing a yellow dress. And Ridge, he's eleven, he's got brown hair too, and he's wearing a green t-shirt and blue jeans." Daphne stammered, her head still hurting after crashing into the barrier. The woman nodded and, without a word, walked through the barrier. "Hey! Wait! Don't leave!" Daphne yelled. She threw her hands up, exasperated. The woman reappeared a few minutes later with Arabella and Ridge, who ran back up to her. Daphne hugged them both, and thanked the woman, who then left with her own child back onto platform nine and three quarters. "How come you couldn't get through the barrier and Bell could?" Ridge asked Daphne. She shrugged, not wanting to answer any more questions about the magical world. "Bye Ridge!" Arabella said, and gave him a big hug. Daphne hugged him as well before waving him off as he left for the platform, tugging his trolley with him. He stood on the platform, trying to avoid other people's gazes, while he waited for the train to begin boarding.

Addigron Ardeman had managed to find his way to the platform fine on his own, well, he had Tunite, But the cat hadn't been any help. He pushed his trolley one handed, rubbing the base of his wand with the other, as he walked up and down the platform, watching all the other witches and wizards. Only once had Arde seen alot of Magical-folk in one place, Germany- four years ago, Bathelina Menatrix had put on A huge magic-bash (as she called it), bringing in crowds of Witches and wizards from all over the world, too see all sorts. Ardes favourite part was the dragon show, where they did tricks and gave rides. Possibly the tamest dragons alive, and Arde loved them. He moved a little closer to one of the train doors, hoping to get on early so to snag an empty compartment all too himself, so he can let Tunite out, who hated strangers, Even more than Arde did.

Din had been at the platform for awhile, one of the first too arrive. She took a seat on a bench near the entrance and watched as everyone pooled in through the barrier. She sat with her owl perched next to her, keeping him in his cage of course. She listened to the whistles from the train conductors and the excited screams from first years. A few times, she even caught herself smiling, but brushed it off encase it looked inviting. she pushed her finger through the cage, stroking the owls forehead with the tip.

Even without the rowdiness the twins brought with them, their identical laughter ringing through the station made them easily identifiable. Bennie Hunt, their mother, sighed and hit one of them over the head lightly. "A moments peace is all I asked for Basil." She said, exasperated. The twin she'd spoken to grinned and crossed his arms, tossing hi hair defiantly. "I'm Rowan, remember Mum?" He said, nudging her and scratching the back of his head. She shrugged and guided Basil's trolley away from a muggle. Basil shrugged and peered into his brothers cart, watching as Hood peeked out from beneath a blanket. He could've sworn the kitten's adorable face and eyes had as much mischief in them as his brother.
Hood let out a tiny mewl when he was seen and promptly burrowed back into Rowan's blanket. While their Mum was distracted, finding the platform, the two swapped trolleys. She came back and motioned for one to run into the wall with a sniffle. "Come on Basil, in you go." Rowan, posing as Basil grinned and ran into the wall, at the last minute yelling out. "It's Rowan!" The real Basil shrugged and winked at their Mum, before following his twin and swapping trolleys. Rowan unloaded his stuff quickly into the train, before helping his twin. The twin's grabbed their pets and made their way through the compartments, until they found an empty one, quickly sliding in and shutting the door. After giving Faris a stroke, Basil placed the owl, cage and all, beside him on the seat, watching his brother take out Hood and allow the kitten to crawl into his lap and curl up into a ball, purring lightly as Rowan stroked him. They heard the conductors whistle and waited for the last first years to get on, looking out of the window and waiting for the journey to start. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "See ya at Hogwarts Sebby." Sebastien Quill's older sister, Stephanie said, ruffling her brothers black hair. Sebastien scowled and folded his arms, leaning on his trolley to keep it going. She knew he hated nicknames, unless he actually liked the person. Cauis poked his head out of Sebastien pocket, his blue eyes blinking sleepily, before promptly burrowing back into the pocket, his shyness apparent. Sebastien's fierce hazel eyes softened into a more friendly green as he spied the kitten. He gently place one hand into his pocket and rubbed Cauis's belly, before reaching the platform.
Stephanie left him to join her friends and he took a deep breath to cool his nerves, before running into the wall, and coming out the other side at platform 9 3/4. His face was expressionless as he shoved his cases on board the train and swung himself up, standing a head taller than most of the first years who weren't in compartments. He spied a free one, and shoved his way in, slinking inside just before someone else and giving them a grin. "Tough one." He said, his voice hinting a slight Irish brogue. Once he'd gotten comfortable, he took Cauis out, placing the sleeping kittens body on his chest and patting him slowly. His eyes were fixed on the station, absorbing everything, before they shut closed and he drifted off into a light slumber, ready to wake at any moment.

Madison saw the conductors usher some students onto the train, and figured it was time to board. She heaved her trunk into the luggage carrier and took Finlay's cage with her as she wandered down the train. After walking up and down the train twice, she couldn't find a single empty carriage. She opened the door of the carriage nearest to her, the one that Sebastian Quill was sitting in, and cleared her throat. "'Scuse me?" she said, "Can I sit in 'ere? There's no more free compartments." she asked. Finlay meowed irritably from inside her carrier.

A second year Gryffindor boy had just helped Caitlyn get her luggage onto the train. She thanked him and smiled sweetly, before leaving to find her seat. She found a nice empty compartment and sat down with her small bag that contained her wand, her robes, and some sweets her mother had given her. She gazed out the window at the people who were still on the platform. Parents, mostly, but she saw a few students, who she waved to flirtatiously for her own amusement. But, of course, when they found their way to her compartment, she shooed them away with a bored flick of her wrist.
***
Ridge almost skipped onto the train, he was so excited. He put his trunk in the luggage area and walked down the aisle in between either side of the train. Everything was so... awesome. He could hardly contain his joy at getting a glimpse of the snack trolley and all the weird, wonderful, magical sweets. Ridge didn't take a seat for a while. All he wanted to do was explore the train, but eventually he had to (A Professor had told him off after he starting swinging on the bars on the sides of the aisle), and knocked on the door of a compartment.
Inside was a girl with sleek, dirty blonde hair, pulled back into a plait. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye, and flicked her wrist at him. "Sorry?" he asked, confused. "Go find a carriage somewhere else," she replied stonily, "This one is occupied." "But... there's no more left." he said awkwardly, shuffling his feet. Bucky squawked at the girl. She sighed, annoyed, and moved over on the seat, so she was right up against the window, and as far away from Ridge as she could possibly be. Ridge took this as an invitation to sit down, and so he did. He twiddled his thumbs for a bit, before breaking the silence, "I'm Ridge. Ridge Montgomery. What's your name?" He held out his hand, which she ignored. "Caitlyn Wolfric." she replied, not looking at him. "So what house do you think you're gonna be in?" he asked. "Please don't talk to me." Caitlyn said, pulling out a book from her bag and beginning to read.

Levi was on his hands and knees, grabbing clothes from his messy bedroom floor and attempting to shove them into his already-overstuffed black suitcase. It took him a good ten minutes, but he had finally crammed all his necessities into his suitcase. Just as he finished packing, his father yelled down from the bottom of the steps.
"Get down here, boy!" Jake Caldwell, Levi's father had yelled, sounding rather impatient.
"Comin'!" Levi yelled back, then grabbed his bag of stuff and hurried out of his room, remembering at the last second to slam the door shut.
He half-stumbled, half-ran down the first five stairs, then jumped the last seven. He landed with a very ungraceful thud and righted himself before hurrying towards his father, who was tapping his foot and glaring at his watch.
"You're gonna be late, you know. And you look like a mess." Levi looked down at himself; his half-buttoned shirt, his undone zipper, his untied shoes, and his ruffled hair.
"I look fine," he huffed.
Jake sighed. "At least do your pants. At least look like you care." Levi mumbled something under his breath, but obeyed and zipped up his pants.
"Happy?" he growled, arms crossed. Jake shook his head, turned away from his son, and opened the door for the boy. Levi stepped past his dad and loaded his crap into their car, along with his owl, a Spectacled he had named Scorn. The animal was annoying and smelly, but a pet of sorts was required. He climbed into the front seat and sank down into it, already wanting the ride to be over.
~
They had reached the train station after a long, silent ride. Jake had attempted to spark up a bit of conversation once or twice, but Levi brushed him aside.
They walked inside, Levi dragging his suitcase behind him in one hand with his owl's metal cage clutched in his free hand. It took them a few minutes to find Platforms Nine and Ten, and once they did, Jake stopped his son and looked over his shoulder at the boy.
"Good luck. Be good, and please, make your father proud. You're still hopin' on Ravenclaw, right?" Levi gave a half-hearted shrug. He could really care less whether or not he ended up in Ravenclaw.
"Whatever, Dad. Bye." There was a moment of awkward silence before Levi embraced his father in a two-second hug and stepped into the entrance between the two Platforms. His father had told him countless times how magical it felt to step into that hidden portal, but it just felt like another step to Levi.
He stared at the brick wall and waved a final goodbye before turning and heading towards the train. He boarded silently, gave the conductor a curt nod, and headed into the back to search for an empty compartment. They all seemed to be full, so he wandered through the empty isles for a good while, searching for a place to sit.
{That was kind of long. Sorry.}

Arde searched through the different compartments, no more seemed to be empty. He sighed, pulling his things too the nearest. He tapped on the door before slowly opening it, peering in, he saw two boys who were, obviously, twins. He smiled politely at them, Leaning against the door frame. "May I sit in here?" He asked, his thick German accent ringing around the small room. _________________________________________
Din clambered on to the train, one of the last. She walked up and down the corridor silently, Looking in each compartment for the one least full. Finally she came across one with only one person in, She opened the door, noticing the boy was asleep and scurried in. She was as silent as possible, hoping not too wake him. She took a seat on the bench opposite him, Setting Flame down next to her and smiling at him. She rummaged through her suitcase until she found the book she had been reading earlier this morning, This full history of Hogwarts.
