Hinkuro rounded on her and with a snap his jaws were locked on her scruff untill it began to bleed heavily. He tackled her off of his pup and snapped in her face "my son is not up for grabs by any hungry loner" he said as he showed his teeth at her. His weight held her in her place. Karolek helped his brother away from her pulling him into the brush behind his father.

Karolek saw the other wolf "yeah he's a fox what about it!!! he's my brother too!" he said as he got infront of his brother as Nadenka crouched behind him licking his tail. Hinkuro snarled and backed off a bit "only easy pickings for you because your so low you cant even hunt an elk. And just because you couldnt protect your family from dieing, doesnt mean i should!" he said with a growl as he tryed to calm down.

Hinkuro ignored the comment. He didnt need to pay any attention to a poor lowly mutt anyway. He walked over to Nadenka and licked his abused tail "are you okay?" He asked as he licked his head softly. Nadenka nodded still. Karolek stayed standing as he watched the female wolf.
