Amelia sat down on the bleachers of the gym after she finally made it to the large room. She sighed softly, leaning forward so that her brown curls hid her face. She lifted her hands to cover her face, the black satin cool and smooth against her skin. She wasn't really sure if she could last the whole school day without starting to cry, but she had wanted to try just once... Shew knew now that the heaviness in her heart would never go away, the pain would never heal, her scars going to remain there until the day she joins her brother in the realm of the dead. She really missed her big brother and the way his smiles always brightened up her days, the way he would let her crawl into bed with him back when she had still been afraid of storms. He had told her about the true beauty of the raging storms, giving the young Amelia the ability to love watching lightning flash as the rain poured down. ((Orz. e.o)) |
