"I guess that when you lunged at me with a blade." Tempest said casually. She rubbed the corner of her mouth and spat on the floor again. Tempets glanced down at her Lingerie garment that was now filthy. She cursed before removing a mesh floor length sarong from her bag and fastening it around her waist. "I'm gona get clean, and heal some of these wounds." Tempest smiled, yet again wiping her mouth as she left the tent.

((*facepalp* sorry, thats a fail, im not feeling myself today... again)) 

Lamina looked up and saw an adequate resting spot for the troops. "Al-right." she yelled over the feet on the ground. "Because some of you did not hydrate themselves before we left, we will stop by the river up ahead." she said, targeting some of the younger members, despite there being less than a decade in age difference. Lamina peered at the river as the approached. The waters where fast running yet clear. Here was the last chance of getting fresh water before they came to the forest swamp.

In the several hours Tempest had be submitted into the splinter, she had already gotten a reputation for rowdy behaviour having gotten into over half a dozen "Disagreements" with other cavalry, "winning" just over half. 

After cleaning herself up, Tempest had decided to follow the company of people that had headed west. Jumping through the trees barefooted with her sarong and hair flailing behind her she felt like a child again chasing after her friends in woods that existed round her village on the opposite side of the mountains. 

Sumnor bent down at the river and drank a handfull of water, before leaping up and launching a psychic lance into the leg of a boar, before jumping across the river and milking the wounded boar into a canteen, thinking of the child he had rescued as his responsibility already.  Finished milking the boar, he put it out of it's misery, breaking it's neck in one fluid movement.

Dryac watched Sumnor with interest as he milked the board, smiling when he figured out why exactly he was acting like he was, "Well wouldn't you look at that Lamina, a daddy already and it's only been one night."  Sumnor threw a small rock into the shoulder of Dryac, causing them both to burst into laughter.

Tempest leapt up onto a high branch overlooking a pack of 6 fox-deer and a stray badger warding of the head of the pack. She laughed inwardly at the badger managing to defend its territory to several mammal's almost twice its size. In many ways it reminder her of herself, a lone wolf, or in this case badger, defending what they believe.

Lamina placed her fingertips on the top of the water feeling its energy as it headed towards the swamp where it would soon be somewhat stationary. "All right, Ariena and Dachi you head towards the swamp, Mizu and Ivory, you head further into the forest." She instructed before handing them each a neck communicator. The crystal in each started glowing separate colours as they synchronized. 

Lamina balanced herself upon a fallen tree as she let the troops disperse. 

Sumnor and Dryac smiled at eachother, "You thinking what I'm thinking?" "Oh hell yes, just like the old days.... back to basics." Sumnor and Dryac took their weapons out, Sumnor his berettas and Dryac his katana's, before hiding them under some shrubbery. "Now, first to ten wins?" "Nah, let's just see who get's the msot before Lamina rounds us up."

The two then allowed their hands to charge with biotic energies, before they dashed into the forest and began throwing bolts at p*censored*ing wildlife, challenging the bigger, harder targets so it was not too easy for them.

Tempest heard slicing up ahead along with footsteps. She silently darted behind a tree, peering round it to get a better look. Tempest caught a glance at the blades that had faced her before. She peered down to the bandaged hand before rolling it into a fist, a smirk plastered onto her face.

"Ew, thats gross." Squeaked Areina, as her foot sank into the boggy water below.  "Why did we have to get the swamp?" she questioned the leafy canopy above as she closed her eyes, pulling her boot out of the water. "Er, i duno?" chuckled Dachi, "Maybe its because Lamina wants to punish you after last time?" He smiled, his eyes covered by the peak of his cap.  Areina scowled at him before redirecting her attention to a howl from a water boar. She darted behind a tree silently, peering at the beast that was ready to charge. 

Dachi held his peek so that he could get a better view. He rolled his eyes before leaping above the canopy and out of the boars sight.

Areina drew her cross bow from her back before aiming at the boar, charging a concentrated biotic arrow at its head. However, her plans where soon demised when Dachi came from the canopy, landing on its back. "Who's in charge now?" he yelled, as the boar started bucking, making him fly off into the murky water. "Not you." Replied Areina in fits of laughter. 

Sumnor ran his biotic drenched hand through the spine of a boar, killing it swiftly, before firing a few mind darts at a monkey, that was soaring from tree limb to limb. Dryac laughed, sat, riding a hippo through the swamp as it bucked wildly in an attempt to send him flying off, before he finally ran a bitoc energy sword through it's skull and brain, "This is really beginning to get old."

Sumnor punched the skull of a large boar in, before leaving it for dead, "Aye tis, should we call it off?"  "How many're you on?" "Exactly two dozen." Dryac frowned before putting a biotic energy spear through the head of an animal resembling a Tapir, "Now we're square." "Alright... That's it! everyone back to camp!"

Dachi was celebrating on top of the now dead boar in the middle of the swampy river. He was drenched and stank of pungent rotten fish, but he didn't mind, much to Areina's displeasure. "stop acting like a child." snapped Areina, mopping over her wet boots, as well as the fox-dear Dachi had choked with his whip. "Well sorry miss prissy pants." he sniggered, ruffling her hair with his dirty hand. "Ew, that's disgusting!" Squealed Areina, before they got a transmission from Lamina that instructed them to head back. 

Dachi Scowled at Areina when she took off with his hat. He started running after her, ordering her to give it back, but with no such luck.  "Thats, for smelling like fish!" she called back to him, dropping it into the now running river as they headed back up stream. Dachi tightened the sash around his head. He scooped his cap out of the water and fixed it firmly over the sash. "Get back here!" he yelled, as he continued to race after Areina.

Tempest had gotten bored, so she had headed back to camp before she even caught a glimpse of the three high ranking humans.

Lamina watched as the several groups of troops, both her own as well as Sumnors and Dryacs headed back to the camp, "Well wasn't this eventful?" She said to herself, looking over two the pair of dead large bear-frog that had attempted to eat her. 

Sumnor regained his weapons, slotting them into and fastening the clip on his holsters, "Always good to have a backup plan..." Sumnor smiled at Lamina before beginning to walk, signalling for everyone else to follow him, "Bring the edible animals! it's been a while since there's been fresh meat at our camp!"  He began chanting words, an old gaelic prayer offered up quickly, the words loosely fitting to that of a blessing for his new child.

Dryac jogged for a second to catch up with Lamina, "So what do you think of the current predicament with Sumnor and the young bec?" Bed was an extremely old traditional word that meant little one, "I'm not sure it's best for a leader of a clan like this one."

Lamina took in Dryacs words before replying. "I think its going to be a challenge, yes, but Sumnor has dealt with challenges before now, so I'm sure he'll be fine." she said feeling confident that Sumnor would manage.

Tempest had been sitting on the outskirts of the camp, admiring the tree tops as she lay on their knobbly surface. She looked to one of the gates to see some troops return after a few hours of hunting. The sun was know beginning to set behind the horizon and tempest watched as the oranges and pinks merged with one another in the sky. Today had been an eventful day. Tempest looked to her bandaged palm and unwrapped it. The cuts had almost vanished.

Sumnor began to lead the troops back to he camp, signalling with his hand for them all to follow him at a quick pace, before beginning to jog, the canteen of boar mik strapped to his belt, "We leay on a feast tonight! treat the camp after the battle!" Sumnor smiled as he heard a few roars of delight, comtinuing to jog towards the large camp, no mroe than 10 minutes away.

Dryac caught up to Sumnor, jogging at the same pace as he, "So did you manage to find out how old that kid is?"  Sumnor looked at him, "I has a psychic evaluate her, she's about a year and two months, so her birthday isn't for another 10 months." Dryac laughed slightly, before returning to conentrating on the path ahead rather than the future that seemed so distant whenever in this war.

"Areina? You could at least help me?" moaned Dachi, dragging one of Lamina's bear-frog along with a biotic infused wip. Areina turned round and cracked a smile before continuing to walk in front of him. "We are nearly there, so you might as well continue as you are." She giggled. "Yea, but i have been dragging this thing for the past few hours, i'm knackered." He said, lifting the peak of his cap so that he could wip the bead of sweat that was on his forehead.

Lamina turned round to see what the two 'Siblings' where bickering about. "Areina, why don't you take over now? hmm?" she said with a swift movement of her heels, hearing a mutter from the two again then a laugh from Dachi.
